“I typically don't frequent the post office (or any one particular). I needed to send a package and the first post office I went to didn't open until 10, I then came to this one. It was opened at 9, the clerk was nice and I was in and out. No complaints.”
“This is my local PO. I have always had a good experience. The staff is professional and friendly. I ship Priority Mail to Hawai'i from here, and it has arrived in as quick as 2 days.
I will say that there are many unruly and unkind customers, which in my opinion explains the 3 star ratings.
The staff has to deal with such customers day in and day out, and they do so professionally.
USPS is a Federal job. They don't care about Google reviews. It doesn't hurt nor help them. They just continue doing their job day in and day out, and do it well.
I just wanted to call it like I see it and give credit where it's due.

“I love this post office. They can be extremely busy due to their location on busy bee Midlothian. But they can keep up like pros! And let me tell you, I went to mail my taxes return on April 15th and they got through the line crazy fast, with such good attitudes even though I was even tired of hearing people asking the same question over and over, especially bcuz if I heard it, so did everyone else waiting too. On top of that, my PO BOX was up for payment to renew. I forgot the letter and there was a whole new line to the door waiting behind me, I didn't want to take the time to go to my car for the letter or go out the door to check my box number....but lo and behold my savior, the manager...I said the last name and she named off me and my husband and my sons first names and told the other customer service rep helping me exactly what our box number was!!! How many people who serves hundred of people do you think could do that? That woman needs a raise!!! everyone in their I've ever been helped by has given me 100% effort in helping me. Thank you from PO Box 35348!!!”
“Staff were friendly, polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. I came in around 10a on a Tuesday to get a package put together and shipped, gentleman at the counter packaged it for me. Took 5 minutes. The service here when I’ve gone has always been consistent and it’s definitely my preferred location in Midlothian compared to others nearby.”
“I've been using this post office for many years. There is a convenient self serve kiosk in the lobby that you can access after hours. The staff has been helpful on many occasions. A few years ago I had a package sent that the sender forgot to include my apt number on. My regular mailman had the day off and I just happened to be grabbing the mail and saw that the package was not delivered. We tracked it and saw it was being sent back the the sender, so we rushed to the post office. The person behind the counter got the tracking info from us and decided to check for it and found it right away. Another time recently my mailman saw me near the mailbox and gave me a shout because he had a package that was too big for my mailbox and would've had to be picked up from the post office otherwise. This location does get really busy, there are a lot of apartments nearby in walking distance. Sometimes they are understaffed, but that is the case almost everywhere. Everyone I have worked with here has been professional.”

“I wanted to send a Christmas card to a coworker in the Philippines. While I thought I knew what I was doing, I quickly realized I should have preplanned just a bit better. Thankfully Kendra and the rest of the team members here were able to help me decipher the address and get everything sorted quickly! It was also incredible to see how efficiently the line was moving during one of the busiest times of the year. We're lucky to have people like Kendra working in our post offices, and to have USPS as a service.”
