Pet Grooming

Canine Classics
8904 Village Shops Dr # I, Fairfax StationI took my 8-month-old Doberman, Tessie, here for her very first grooming experience, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She came out absolutely beautiful — clean, shiny, and clearly well cared for.
Tessie can be a bit nervous around strangers, but the staff were incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive with her. They made her feel comfortable from start to finish, and it really showed — she came out happy, relaxed, and even smiling.
The attention to detail was excellent, and they did a fantastic job getting her cleaned up and ready for the holidays. Overall, this is a great place with people who truly care about the dogs they work with. I highly recommend them and will definitely be bringing Tessie back!

Mom's Pet Grooming
5616g Ox Rd, Fairfax StationThis is the only place they would take time to brush through my dog’s coat and not just shave him completely and charge the same price. I love this place even though it’s an hour away from where I live, it’s worth the drive for my little pup.

Crosspointe Animal Hospital
8975 Village Shops Dr, Fairfax StationOur 17 year old dog was really struggling so we took him in yesterday, fearing the worst. Of course, an hour or so before our appt., the dog showed new signs of life & was was running everywhere. Spoiler alert: We brought him home. We consulted with Dr. Burbrink upon arrival. She was unbelievable. She came in, sat with us, told us that we can expect many more ups and downs, then examined our dog and gave him some meds for muscles and for pain. He seems to be doing much better. We know we're only buying time, but it's important time. Dr. Burbrink was so kind, so understanding, so patient. she took the time to explain to us what was going on with him and the intended goal of the treatment plan. She got down on the floor to examine him and was so nice to him. He doesn't always tolerate people, but she was great and the dog was nice to her. But I really wanted to post a review because she really was just exceptional.

Chloez Cafe
5622 Ox Rd unit f, Fairfax StationI'm trying out brunch spots in my new neighborhood, and I've found my second favorite place. I loved the food, and the service was friendly. I don't remember my waitress's name, but she was a lovely young woman. Great spot—I'll be back!

Burke Lake Park Ice Cream Parlor
7315 Ox Rd, Fairfax StationThis was honestly the selling point for me going on a hiking walk! Such a smart idea to have an ice cream parlor at the park. Love the train in the parlor that mimics the train in the park. They have many ice cream flavors, but Superman was not the tasty Superman ice cream I know so I didn’t really enjoy that flavor.
There was a park behind the parlor which was cute for kids.
Go, enjoy!
