“Nordstrom rack is by far the most expensive out of all of the discount stores. But, if you go often enough you will find deals that smoke t.j Maxx, Burlington and Ross. Why they do have upscale clothes that usually carry upscale prices pay special attention to the clearance racks. That's actually the only place I shop in any of these stores. Imagine spending half the price of similar clothing items from Walmart or Costco but four times the quality.
June 7th update: I needed a summer suit and looking online was discouraging so I asked Chad GPT who sells a decent summer suit at a good price it mentioned j.Crew HNG I think it's called Macy's and Nordstrom. So I went to a j.Crew factory outlet and was blown away not by the quality or the selection by the insane prices that were literally breathtaking. $400 for a jacket at a outlet store is absolute insanity. So of course I did what I should have done in the first place and went to my local Nordstrom rack on Bear lakes parkway in Fairfax where not only did I get a fantastic lightweight tan suit but also a medium tan leather belt and a sporty pair of tan Cole haan sneaker/ sporty shoes. Now you're probably asking you probably spent a lot of money didn't you. That's where you would be wrong The Sue jacket was $120 the suit pants were $40 the leather belt was $20 and the Cole haan shoes were $109. To get a full-on legit sporty looking slim suit that looks amazing on me for under $400 is nuts! The kicker is the sleeves need to be adjusted ever so slightly. And because Nordstrom rack is literally the beast of all stores that is included for the low low price of $0. My tailor would have charged $90 and that's a lady actually she's a great lady next to the Goodwill on main Street and Fairfax but that's beside the point. And as a bonus while walking out my girlfriend's kid needed a pair of summer tennis shoes. Where else are you going to find sparkly vans tennis shoes for 11 freaking dollars!!! If I haven't said I loved Nordstrom rack enough let me say it yet again. I love Nordstrom rack. They did have a legit Armani sweater and an equally cool rag and bone sweater each for $100 which I was very tempted to snag on deep discount but I spend enough for today maybe they'll still be on that clearance rack in another couple of weeks”

“This Walmart specifically has been consistent with how clean and well stocked this place is, especially how organized and convenient the format of the aisles are. It has been my go-to place for shopping here and there, plus finding a good amount of deals. I really can't stop myself from not buying so much for my family! The only downside of this spot is the format they have for the self-checkout line, which only has one entrance. It gets the place backed up and create a huge queue. Maybe 1-2 more would be better for the long line situation.”
“This review would have sounded like the others if it weren’t for Zena. When I walked in, no one greeted me and I was contemplating staying considering I was there for 10 minutes roughly without anyone acknowledging me. Then Zena started her shift and that is why I am able to leave 5 stars comfortably. She immediately approached me and I thanked her for saying anything because no one had thus far and she mentioned she just got on shift and was willing to help! I tried on several pieces and left with a few, to include perfume and a few travel size goodies given for my sister and I. I even reached out to her that same evening for a pair of jeans and if the store carried them, and she was quick to reply with complete kindness and willing to answer any and all questions I had. I’d return here if Zena were working, she was so great and I look forward to shopping here again in the future! Thanks Zena.”

“One of the nicer Walmarts around. It has groceries and other department store items. Food is usually in stock, people here are mostly nice, except when they are in the way. Self checkout seems unorganized, especially when there is an issue. It took 10 minutes to get someone to fix the self checkout machines for 3 people. I would go to this walmart rather than the ones in Alexandria.”

She took time at the beginning of our appointment to go over how I wanted my hair to look and feel, how I typically maintain and care for it, and what I typically do to style it. It’s been so hard to find someone who can cut short hair on a woman that looks stylish and sophisticated, and she nailed it! She did it so effortlessly, too. I would like to give enthusiastic recognition to Shokria at the Target Fair Lakes store in Fairfax. At approximately 11:05 p.m., after the store had already closed, she helped me complete a last-minute purchase when the barcode on one of my items would not register properly.
Despite the late hour, Shokria never made me feel rushed or like an inconvenience. She was exceptionally kind, patient, attentive, and professional. She immediately took ownership of the problem, diligently worked through the barcode issue, and made sure I was able to complete my purchase quickly and smoothly.

“Let's start with parking, there is tons of it! That already solidified my satisfaction with Target. Going inside, there was a host passing shopping carts out, which was a nice touch. A nod to excellent customer service! The store was super clean, I didn't see anything on the floors or hanging around in the wrong spot. I definitely got a bang for my buck, there were so many clothes on sale and there were lots of options to choose from. Self-checkout was speedy and there was staff nearby who could support if needed. I don't mind making the trek out to come back here!”
“JCPenney at Fair Oaks Mall is a good store to shop in. During my visit on a busy weekend, the store was clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Surprisingly, it wasn't overly crowded
They offer a wide selection of apparel, shoes, makeup and beauty products, small household appliances, kitchen utensils, and other everyday items. The cashier was very friendly and helpful.
Price-wise, I think the value is reasonable for the quality you receive, especially when it comes to JCPenney's own brands and the brands under its umbrella. They often provide a good balance between affordability and quality. Plus, most of the time there is a store specific discount that you can easily use during your check out.
I hope stores like this continue to thrive and attract more customers. While online shopping is convenient, there is still something valuable about being able to see products in person, feel the fabric, check the quality, and get a true sense of size and fit before making a purchase. Traditional department stores continue to offer an experience that simply cannot be fully replicated on a screen.”

“Not many stores are open late like Burlington is. There is a large selection of merchandise and I got quite a bit of Christmas shopping done here, especially in the beauty product aisle - so many stocking stuffers and other things I just had to buy for myself. That area has the oddest items secured in locked boxes, like a $3.79 clearance item.”

We went to pick up some items for the kids who actually picked out their own items. Great shop for small kids, teenagers and more. The staff is always friendly amd greet us upon entrance. The associates are also very helpful. The prices are very reasonable. Our overall experience is positive.
Great products at low prices. I like to go there and get chargers, headphones, phone covers and more for my family's electronic devices. My children always find what they are looking for there. We go back regularly.”
