Pet Care

Blue Ridge Veterinary Hospital
436 Floyd Hwy N, FloydMy first experience was over the phone with the receptionist. She was very understanding and compassionate. When I got there, it was a nice clean environment (didn't smell like pee at all). The wait time wasn't long. The vet took his time and let my dog get comfortable with him (my dog is normally a bit standoffish/nervous with strangers, especially males). The vet listened to all my concerns. Gave me options and information. I didn't feel judged or like they were trying to push extra services on me. And they were also very affordable. 10/10 recommend

Pet Sitting & Training

Little River Farm, LLC
3368 Bethlehem Church Rd NE, FloydThis is hands-down the best place we've boarded our dog! She loves playing with the others and running in the huge fenced-in area! And *we* love that we get updates on how she's doing when we're away and how seriously they take the dogs' safety. I never used to feel comfortable leaving our dog when we went out of town, but now that she goes to Little River Farm, I know she's in good hands and trust leaving her in their care! A beautiful property with caregivers we trust 100%!

Pantoufle's Bistro
109 E Main St Suite B, FloydJohn was great! Super accommodating and made my wife and I feel like we were just two people in his personal dining room.
For dinner I had the braised short ribs and it was tender and flavorful. My wife had the Chicken spinach artichoke with rice. She was hesitant to get it, but in the end she really enjoyed the meal and was glad she got it. Would highly recommend this bistro. Also don't be afraid to try the chocolate tea!

OuterSpace
364 S Locust St, FloydWe parked near here and toured Floyd before deciding to return for lunch. So glad we did. We would usually do a split for lunch, and the portions are plenty to do a split, but the menu was just too interesting. So she had Grown-up Grilled Cheese, and I had the Breakfast Burrito with sweet potato mash and spinach. They were both wonderful, and too big for one person to finish. Very reasonable price for what we had. Menu variety made hard choices. Atmosphere is crazy, like a picnic in outer space. So glad our campground recommended we take the time to visit Floyd!

Parkway Grille
227 N Locust St, FloydEverything about this place was first class, the food, the service, and the vibe. We drove there from Radford twice a month. Today we got there to find it had closed for good. So sorry to loose such a great place to eat.

Chateau Morrisette Restaurant
287 Winery Rd SW, FloydWe frequently visit for anniversary, birthday, and other celebrations. Never have we had a bad experience. The menu is varied enough for nearly anyone and you cannot make a wrong choice. This visit was for my wife's birthday and she had shrimp & grits, I had stuffed chicken breasts. Together with Vidal Blanc it was a superb meal.
