This was the first time I took my kitten to this vet. The staff was very nice and very helpful with the new animal check in process. The doctor that saw my kitten was very sweet and explained everything to me. It was also a very good price.

West End Animal Clinic

I adore both of the doctors that work at this establishment. The most recent adventure? Removing a polyp that was obstructing Jones’ airways. Very well priced, caring staff, and you can tell they love their patients. I would include a picture of the polyp but that may be seen as gross. Just know he was a very snotty, wheezy boy and while high as a kite - he is no longer making that wheezy snort sound.

Radford Coffee Company

Love the building and the decor. The coffee was hot and made to order. They offer a pretty decent menu for breakfast and lunch. We had to get back on the road. So, we got two gluten free scones to go. They were very good; I would order them again. I deducted one star for customer service. It took 18 minutes for someone to finally make the smoothy my daughter ordered. I was done with my coffee before she even got her drink. When I went up to ask about it the cashier wouldn't even look at me. The woman making the lattes finally came over and asked what I needed. No one seemed to know what happened to her drink and no apology was given for the wait. I hope that's not the norm for them as it truly is a cozy little coffeehouse.

Benny Nicola's Pizza

Went and ate earlier, I knew it’d be busy on a Saturday but I guess something happened that put them behind and my one slice of pizza had taken an hour to make. I’m a type 1 diabetic and my sugar had crashed when I got there. The guy that came into help (Mike) was super kind even tho I was getting hangry and impatient and low even tho I was drinking soda. (I’m sorry.) when he called my name he apologized and had even came back when I finished and asked if my sugar was okay. Just wanted to say thank you Mike. I appreciate that a lot. Being a type 1 diabetic is really hard and just having a stranger care about that meant a lot. And to the newbies…you’re doing the best you can, don’t be hard on yourselves!
