βI stopped in on thursday on my way home from pennsylvania, going to north carolina. Next thing, my tire pressure was down. I was in a panic and pulled in to this station. Turns out, I ran over a big piece of metal. The two gentlemen, we're so nice and efficient.I don't even know what to say!!!!! I had my three teenage girls with me, and we had three hours left to go home. They showed me what was wrong with the tire. He talked to my husband on the phone, and they had me in and out and fifteen minutes and back on the road. Although it was 57 dollars for a patch it was still worth it to me. And it got me home and still holding, losing no tire pressure. These guys could not have been any more nicer. And I had to force them to take a four dollar tip, because it's all the cash I had on me.β
βVery friendly service and delicious sandwiches. I love all the cool things they sell too. European chips and cookies, etc. we got the caprese sandwich and the BBQ pulled pork (I had them heat my pulled pork up because I donβt ever want that cold).β
βMy orders at Bryanβs Road Dash In are always made with love. We just love getting healthier food options here. Cassie is always pleasant. She makes my orders perfectly.β
βConsistently lowest fuel prices in Old Town Alexandria. They also do Virginia state safety and emissions inspections. Only downsides: Parking lot is a little tight, and the tap to pay function doesn't work on all pumps.β

βThis station always has consistently high ethanol content in their E85 fuel during peak season. Spoke with the owner, heβs a car guy and apparently he had the first e85 station in nova. Super chill dude, would def come back againβ

βGood selection of stores to get a bite to eat. Parking is tight on the side near Subway. Itβs walking distance from the Huntington Metro station. Clean parking lot with plenty of spaces. Post office is located between 7Eleven and El Rancho restaurant.β

βBolling Commissary is always a clean, well-kept spot that has all your basic grocery needs. I used to shop here regularly when I lived closer because it was quiet, organized, and always stocked.
That said, this review is all about the sushi inside the Commissaryβand let me just say, itβs hands down the BEST sushi Iβve ever had. Iβve traveled all over the world, including Japan, and this sushi is truly a hidden gem. Itβs always fresh, always delicious, and never disappoints.
My go-to is the chicken teriyaki roll, but I also love the shrimp tempura roll. Honestly, I could eat it every single day. I highly recommend it to anyone in the areaβdefinitely give it a try!β

TL:DR - Hiring process is crap and annoying to deal with, Hispanic section is good, and their donuts are AMAZING.
Come here AT LEAST for the donuts, fr worth it.
8 of my friends (9 including me) never got any kind of response when we applied to work here, plus the managers always seemed to mysteriously unavailable to be spoken to.
I've literally called the store, got told to call back the next morning, called the next morning, "Manager on vacation" :/
when will they be back? " X date." Thanks so much.
Called back on X date, "She'll be here tomorrow morning" thanks.
Calls back tomorrow morning, "Hi, not here. Call again tomorrow morning."
At which point I came INTO THE STORE to speak with this elusive hiring manager, just to be told that they were on vacation and won't be back for a while.

So suffice to say, hiring process seems messy, outdated, unreliable, and flat out non-functional at times.
The website needs to be updated, the employees need proper customer service training because regardless of what I'm calling about, and who's answering, it's always in a tone that sounds like I might aswell be interrupting a neurosurgeon mid incision.
The only redeeming quality of this store is what it sells, and I'm not talking standard groceries.
Not only does Shoppers have a decent spread of hispanic foods, ingredients, drinks & snacks, but it's also got some of, if not THE BEST donuts you could buy from a store.
The donut chains like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme got nothing on SFW donuts, they got Croissant donuts (Cronuts), marble iced, Holland Creme (my favorite), jam filled, lemon pudding filled, boston creme, and of course all your standard donut types like powdered, brown sugar, plain and glazed, not to even mention some specialty ones they have on occasion like the apple pie filled brown sugar, or marbled icing cronuts.
Plus they're reasonably priced, which automatically raises the rating for me.

βAs far as 7-11's go, this is actually a good one. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. Only complaint is (I wish they would keep up on the hot dogs) as they are always out.β

βThere is ALWAYS a line of cars fighting for a spot, rudely clogging up the street and making traffic difficult. Why? Because the gas here is almost pre-biden priced. It's at least 50 cents cheaper than anywhere else nearby. No wonder it's always a fight to get in. It would be perfect if the narcissists didn't clog up the streets nearby.β
βTook my car to get new tires installed. EXCELLENT SERVICE! Usman (hope Iβm spelling that properly) and the crew did a phenomenal job with the install. Easily the friendliest and most professional mechanic I have ever been to. 100% recommend.β

βI stopped by the Shell gas station in Springfield specifically because it participates in the Upside program, which offers rewards and discounts. Overall, my experience was positive. The gas station was clean and well-maintained, and the attendant was friendly and helpful.
The only drawback was that one of the gas pumps was out of order, which was a minor inconvenience. However, the remaining pumps were functioning properly, and I was able to fill up quickly and easily.
One note to keep in mind is that the gas station's location on a corner can make it a bit tricky to navigate, with three entrances to choose from. However, once you're inside, the station is easy to navigate, and the staff is happy to help with any questions or concerns. Overall, I would still recommend this Shell gas station to anyone in the area, especially if you'reΒ anΒ UpsideΒ user.β

However, I came here, Yates Car eash and they are still offering the interior service. Everything cost $48.

βThis is a no frills station that also has lowest prices in the area. Ive filled here for the past 4 years with regular 87 and their fuel has always been excellent quality. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is that the diesel pump side is almost never cleaned up from spills and I end up getting it on my shoes.β

βI came in a little while before closing last week for an emergency item. Naturally the machine I had at self-check decided it did not want to complete the transaction and froze, which meant my coupons were also frozen with it!
Richard was on duty that night and got me sorted out on another machineβand I was able to get the same discount which was great! I appreciate the effort and superior service I received when I was really in need. Richard made a difficult night for me much more pleasant!β
