“I stopped by the Shell gas station in Springfield specifically because it participates in the Upside program, which offers rewards and discounts. Overall, my experience was positive. The gas station was clean and well-maintained, and the attendant was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that one of the gas pumps was out of order, which was a minor inconvenience. However, the remaining pumps were functioning properly, and I was able to fill up quickly and easily. One note to keep in mind is that the gas station's location on a corner can make it a bit tricky to navigate, with three entrances to choose from. However, once you're inside, the station is easy to navigate, and the staff is happy to help with any questions or concerns. Overall, I would still recommend this Shell gas station to anyone in the area, especially if you're an Upside user.”

Only downside, as with all shops in this shopping center, is that it's a pain to enter, navigate, and exit the shopping center when Chick-Fil-A is open.”

From the moment I walked into the Walgreens on Port Royal Road in Springfield, I was genuinely struck by how clean, bright, organized, and well maintained the entire store was. Everything was neatly stocked, clearly marked, and attractively displayed. My immediate impression was that I had walked into a flagship Walgreens location—the difference was noticeable enough that I almost commented on it out loud. The service matched the condition of the store. Joseph assisted me at the counter and was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. A young woman who assisted me on the sales floor was equally helpful and knew exactly where to direct me for the items I needed. Both employees were knowledgeable and welcoming. What impressed me even more was that I visited close to closing time. The store still looked excellent, and neither employee made me feel rushed or as though helping a customer was an inconvenience at the end of the evening. Whatever the management and staff at this location are doing, it shows. This store reflects a great deal of attention, pride, and consistency, and the employees I encountered represented Walgreens extremely well. Please recognize Joseph, the young woman who assisted me, and the team responsible for maintaining this location. This was one of the best Walgreens experiences I have had.”

“We were customers (victims?) of the Walgreens on Main Street in Fairfax for years, and had nothing but terrible experiences: rude staff, mistakes in scheduling refills, and the frequent promise a prescription would be ready at a given time, only to find out that it wasn't. Finally we got a dose of common sense and switched to the Port Royal Road store. The head pharmacist there is great - pleasant, willing to answer questions, patient; the rest of the staff lacks the surliness that seems to be a requirement for Main Street employees. It's still way more expensive than Costco, but for some of my prescriptions, it's been a very welcome change.”

They're the same things, Highs and Lows sells, but they're not expired. The owner of Highs and Lows forces his employees to push expired foods and drinks to customers. Noone likes doing it. But the owner threatens to fire people if they don't move expired product out of the store. VA Snacks is not trying to take your money. They sell the same stuff, not expired, for a third of the price of the same things at Highs and Lows. Why buy over price, for snacks that are expired, at Highs and Lows, when you can go to VA Snacks for decent products at way better prices?! VA Snack all the way! Better prices here. “This is properly the best pharmacy that I have used in the past. I used to go to Walgreens and it was a disaster dealing with them for every single prescription I have filled or refilled. It is really nice that my pharmacist remembered my name and my child's name which does not happen anywhere else. The pharmacist was very knowledgeable as always. It was a very positive experience. I was truly impressed. You do have to call to leave a message to speak with the pharmacist, however it was quick and easy and my call was always returned within 30 minutes which has always been my experience. I now included my daughter to use this pharmacy as well. I would strongly use this pharmacy. Very impressive and great service.”

“A really big shout out to Glendi and Joanne in the pharmacy! Glendi saved me over $2,000 on a prescription medication. The day I picked it up she found a coupon that brought the price down to $450. She went the extra mile the next day by tracking down an even better coupon and then calling me to ask me to return to the store to pay just $50 after refunding the $450. Joanne took incredible care of me when she refunded the $450. She meticulously went through the process, efficiently executing the transaction in no time. When I made a passing joke about how my last name and address were reset to what they were 15 years ago, she wrestled with CVS's backend systems until they submitted to her expert prowess. Give them both a raise and a vacation!”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
