“I'm not familiar with Richmond so I don't know what street this was on. And I hope this review pertains to that specific location.Normally I would rate my regular Trader Joe's as a 5. But dang this one has limited selection.Cashier's were great. Stock people were great but if you're looking for a normal selection, this isn't the one.”

“I saw on Facebook that Glen Allen Supermarket has daily meals each week Monday through Thursday. We called this morning to order the pork medallions with wild rice and a dessert. We had no idea what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. The food tasted fresh and homemade with a major comfort food vibe. The dessert wasn't described but we received a chocolate cake that was so good. A quick stop to pick up the meal and dinner is served! The staff from ordering to pick up were friendly. Can't wait to see what's on the menu for next week!”

“The staff at the registers always seem happy and are so helpful with me. I would also like to sent out a special thanks to the little woman in the deli sub making area. I wish I could remember her name. She is such a wonderful person. She is caring, thoughtful and so cheerful. I love coming in even if I'm not getting a sub to just say hello to her and I hope I will be able to post her name next time. Thank you Publix for having such a wonderful person in your company.”

“Publix could teach the rest of the world how to win loyal customers. Thanks and kudos to Carlo who made me very happy in spite of the fact that he couldn't locate a small soup bar bowl for me. He found a solution and made it work. His attitude made the trip very worry my while, I had soup for lunch, and I left happy!”

“Loved how meticulous Mariam in the deli was. She was just coming on shift I believe, and thank goodness! She went right in replenishing items and discarding old ones Where as the other 3 employees lacked the same concern. (example, tomatoes had 2 slices in the bin, lettuce was extremely low, 2 leaves of spinach, and old chicken tenders).. Just passing through NC but if I ever stop again hope she's there. Also this is a very huge, clean and well stocked Publix.. Loved the gentleman Barista at Starbucks as well. He was very friendly and professional!!! Nice!!!”

“I love shopping later in the evening. Short list, but still in and out without any delays. Saturday morning is another good time to catch deals on meats. Tonight 11/3 I had THE BEST hands down experience with a cashier. So genuine. This is why I shop there.”

“Wow. Reviewing Costco is like reviewing a country. Where do you start? Okay, there are three things I guess I should talk about. No, four. Gas, ready-to-eat food, the rest of the store, and online. No, five.... samples. So, gas. Most of the time it is cheaper than surrounding stations. Occasionally there is gas cheaper about 5 miles away on Broad St or even at Wawa on Staples Mill. But not often, and not for long. Clearly they have spotters, or they just copy Sam's club which always has the same price as Costco. The usual difference in gas price offsets maybe 30% of the annual membership price at Costco if you have two cars, once a week. Ready-to-eat. This would include the back line of rotisserie chicken, premade salads and roll ups and such, and front line food court staples like pizzas, slices, hot dogs, and whatever that big baked wrap looking thing is. Prices for the chicken and the hot foods are amazingly good. Quality of the pizza is average, and of the chicken is great. The hot dogs are a very nice snack, and they taste good which scares me a lot. Rest of the store. There are a lot of good deals to be had. I won't call them bargains, as you usually have to buy a lot to get that good deal. And I am always a little irritated about what they have decided to stop carrying in the stores (small nitrile gloves, anyone?) that force me onto the damned website. But if you need 15 cans of tuna or a year's supply of dietary fiber supplements (god help you) this is a great place to get your fix. Just make sure you have available freezer space for the chicky nugs or attic storage for all those paper towels. Samples. What clever bast ards these folks are. Yes, I eat the samples. Yes, I tend to go to Costco in the middle of the day when they have the MOST samples. And yes, though I am an educated (fat) man, I tend to buy at least one or three things they are sampling. Hence the need for the freezer space. Online. They suck. Hard to search, hard to figure out if they have something or not, hard to figure out if it is cheaper or even available in the store. Not customer friendly. And because they have moved so many things to website only that were previously available in the stores, this is especially irritating. This alone costs them a star. So Costco is 4 stars, maybe 3.5 TBH. But so much better than the S-club up the street. Oh, wait. Make that 7 things to rate them on. Great staff, AMPLE STAFFING, fast check out. But crappy parking and traffic control. Customers leaving the store are always in peril. And parking is a nightmare, period.”

“I like this Walmart, I came in here to get some lunch. I am obsessed with their ranch wings and it's located 5 minutes from my work. The lady at the hot food counter was absolutely the sweetest. The wings were hot and fresh, she even give me an extra one.”

“I will give 5 star to ummah market. Their fried chicken is really delicious. Good place if you eat halal mutton/chicken. I prefer going there for non vegetarian foods. They do have paya.”
