“When a another local florist is unable to complete your request but recommends Va Beach Florist to you that says quite a lot about your reputation. On the day of my dear Aunt ‘s viewing in Norfolk Va I contacted Va Beach Florist. I had a picture of the Teleflora casket insert I wanted to order. The lady on the call was more than accommodating. She quickly found the arrangement and said let me check with our floral designer DJ. She returned to the call and said this arrangement is very fragile and could come apart. I’m thinking and said to her once it’s placed it’s not going to be removed, correct? She had DJ come to the call and he further explained this arrangement doesn’t have a water source and wouldn’t do well it there is another service scheduled after the viewing. There was but the HONESTY spoke volumes. DJ text me pictures of several options. I choose a baby breath heart with white roses on the side. He even added the ribbon all done in white. His talent was shown throughout the arrangement. What a honest, talented business man. Complete follow up with me here in Atlanta. WELL DONE HIGHLY RECOMMEND just ask for DJ!”

“I've become a lover of house plants over the past couple years and have been wanting to visit the PlantHouse since they've opened. As I walked in, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful the store was and I absolutely loved the aroma of fresh plants. They have a large variety of different plants (all of the plants were healthy and very well taken care of) and plant holders and the prices weren't bad at all. The terrarium area was very cool as well and they have a large amount of terrarium plants and vases to choose from to make your own, unique terrarium. After looking throughout the whole store, I decided on the Spider Plant and I am so happy with my decision but it would have been nice if an associate asked if I needed any assistance. Unfortunately, no one approached me. Either way, I absolutely love this store and will probably be returning to take a terrarium workshop class or even purchase another plant baby.”

As I was checking out, the young man asked a couple of questions and suggested I may only need the seal....saved me a lot of time and about $10! I call that great customer service! “I was under the gun and needed to have gravel delivered to my home so that I could build a foundation for a shed that was to be built on my property in less than a week. I found London Bridge online and saw that they had exactly what I needed. I called and placed an order for 2.5 tons of gravel and it was in my driveway first thing the next morning. As it happens, I hadn't ordered enough and called them the next day for an additional 2.5 tons. The next morning that was in my driveway without a hiccup. It was easier ordering and having 5 tons of gravel delivered to my house than it is to get a pizza!”

“This was my 1st visit to Anderson's, and I was impressed. What a beautiful store with a nice variety of garden options. I did not try the restaurant. The clothing items were nice but seemed overpriced. The garden items were priced accordingly, and many of their statuary had great prices. The plants all looked healthy and well taken care of. The staff were helpful and friendly. They had a little mini golf course, which I'm sure is helpful for those shopping with children.”

“Cheapest compost and topsoil and next day delivery (not always!)I live in Portsmouth and all the nurseries I called, I took notes of their rates, delivery fees, if they even deliver to Portsmouth, and the minimum yard requirement for delivery. For our garden expansion project, most places didn’t have mulch, soil, peet moss, or all 3, and I found the cheapest at Bennett’s Creek Nursery.I placed my order yesterday, and received a call this morning that they could deliver my soil today (the next day). This was fluke, as they prioritize their plant delivery but things just lined up perfectly, and the cherry on top was that their wholesale soil was a whopping $200 less than the local competition (let’s call it Taco Bell Nursery haha). Four seasons did ours last year, but they charge $5 more per yard for their topsoil, alone, and blended soil is a whole $10 more per yard! We’re forever customers for Bennett’s Creek Nursery”

“Wow! What a surprise. It's larger than I thought. I've been driving past for years but needed something nearby today and specifically needed a few plants and some dirt for a project so decided I was coming. I found tons of home decor and garden items inside the small shop as well as a full USPS store open 9-5 Monday-Friday. What?! Andrea was amazing. She helped so much and was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the plants inside and how to care for them. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and made it super easy. She also helped us get the right potting soil mix and some tips. Signed up for a rewards account which provides coupons, in-store sales and also some points annually to use in store based on spend. What's not to love?! This may be a new garden fav.”

“I'm a contractor and when I'm in a "hardware" store I'm most likely heading to work, from work or at work. I'm least concerned by all the warm and fuzzy feelings shoppers get from their favorite retailers. Home Depot is my go to choice for materials, yes their lumber mostly sucks like every other budget retailer, my answer to that is lumber order it out when the budget supports it. My point is as a rule of thumb Home Depot has a good selection of lumber and materials at a reasonable price. Their staff are reasonably knowledgeable for the wage they receive. I recommend this Home Depot.”

“This Home Depot is the closest to my house. That's why I come here a lot. Service is sometimes great and then sometimes staff ignore you when you need help. But They usually have what I need. Their plants are definitely over priced and I go other places for that but I shop there all the time. I'm only deducting one point for high price plants because 6 dollars for a tiny parsley is ridiculous. I absolutely hate bad service. Like I said you get good service sometimes too. So to sum it all up. Make sure you look at he prices of everything and speak up if you need help. Always show kindness”

“I know, it's sometimes hard to give 5 stars to a store that everyone goes to out of need - that need for that caulk or bolt or light bulb to replace a burnt out one. Sometimes we don't think about customer service at a place where necessity drives the customers to the place, rather than whim or special occasions such as a department store or a fancy restaurant. And most of the time people just are happy that a store like Home Depot just has the item in stock.But I've had a couple of incidents where the service has been wonderful so here goes my 5 star rating.One night at around 8:30 when everyone's winding down for the day getting ready for the next , I decided it was great time to avoid the hot humid weather and the large crowds to buy bags of garden soil, top soil and mulch. Just have to get my new beds ready for fall planting! The garden center gates were closed, lights were dim and as expected, there wasn't anyone tending the garden center. I asked service desk to page someone to help me with the bags of soil and mulch. Not only was there someone who helped me load them in my cart, they even waited for me to pay for them and walked me to my car and loaded the bags - no requests needed - now that's customer needs anticipation and service!Then just last night I decided I couldn't make 4 trips to buy more than 25 bags of soil, mulch and gravel. So decided to order online for next day delivery. They indicated the merchandise will be delivered any time from 6am to 8pm. A truck came at 10:30am. A polite young man asked if it was the right address and where he can unload the items. He was very efficient, laid the bags very neatly by the driveway. I am not sure if the gentleman is a contractor for Home Depot or an employee - but service was wonderful. I recommend Home Depot's delivery service for $35 - well worth the gas, the mileage and the time it takes to go into store, have your car loaded for several trips!”

Always parking and never a ton of traffic.Staff inside are friendly and always willing to show you where something is and save you some time or make recommendations if you aren't sure what you need.Seasonal items are great - holiday decor especially here is wonderful and I've gotten Halloween and Christmas stuff here plenty.Large selection of bulbs and other lighting and great garden center.I've gotten some great seasonal deals here over the years so it is worth a browse at the end of a holiday event.”
