“A secret spot harboring an outstanding bakery just off the way to Anacortes Wa. They feature a wide variety of muffins, cookies and breads with a neighborhood, corner store feel. The place should be featured in a movie with its creaking wood floors and screen door. I love it!”
“Best place in town to shop. The staff is so friendly and quick. They also have a large variety of beverages and snacks! If you haven’t stopped in yet you need to!”
“Absolutely amazing service. Quality is top notch too. Have been working for years with Mike to supply our Summer Camp needs. Always friendly and professional. When there's the occasional issue, he always goes out of his way to make it right.”
“Fantastic people who go out of their way to help our community! Last year we had a big wind storm and we lost power for a week, Huntingtons included. They hooked up a generator to their pumps and were writing down people's credit card numbers to charge later when the power came back. They may not be the cheapest, but I happily support those that support us!”
“What a throwback in time ! This lil store feels like summer camp lol! Great prices and great staff! I would highly suggest you visit if you're interested town!”
“A great place to stop for snacks before the ferry or wa park and a fantastic corner store for locals. Great selection (they have a walk in beer cooler!), prices are on par with Safeway. If you're a frequent customer they will remember you in that good vibe friendly way.”
“Anacortes Health and Nutrition is such a gem in our community! Caroline, the owner, is incredibly kind, attentive, and truly has her customers’ best interests at heart. She’s a wealth of knowledge when it comes to supplements and overall wellness, and she always takes the time to guide you toward what’s right for your individual needs. I highly recommend for all your wellness and nutritional needs — we’re so lucky to have them in Anacortes!”
“Wonderful and informative staff!
They offer a whiteboard for product suggestions, a generous bulk section (with delicious pistachios), fresh and frozen water tank bread, local and ethically sourced goods from the farmers market as well as anything you would expect from a grocery store!
What a place! We love it!”
“Passing by on a work trip, so I stopped for a couple of things. Cute little store but what made it stand out was how nice the girl at the register was. Little everyday interactions and how we treat people matters so much more than we realize. ?”
“Gas today, 9/29/2024, $3.64.
Pumps worked well.
Area was clean.
Good location, easy in and out.
Use your member number for a discount.”
“The owner is a nice man made me fresh coffee and was very considerate. It's s typical gas and dash with the trinkets and paraphernalia but the people behind the counter make the difference.”
“Love this store !It is not a full grocery store with everything, but it is not a 7/11 either.Friendly staff, on the side of the store is a coffee sandwich stand.Nice to have old school grocery store and not a chain.”
“Always a nice place to go. Meet some of the nicest people in the aisles! Variety is good. I find the meat and vegetable sections to be very good, with a great assortment.”

“I like this Safeway because it is clean and well-organized, but I’ve had two unpleasant experiences with an employee named Carolyn.
A few weeks ago, she was unfriendly and acted like helping us was a chore. When I returned this morning with a friend, the behavior continued. She glared at us several times while we shopped and even seemed to intentionally block our path near the self-checkout.
It’s a nice store, but I’m disappointed by the lack of respect. I’d like to be able to shop here without feeling like a nuisance to the staff or being mean mugged while trying to shop.”
“This is a small local grocery store. It has a deli and a good selection of groceries at a reasonable price.
The staff is friendly and always willing to help.”
