“I really like this little shop. Like most neighborhood/convenience store Lyons has about anything you'd need in a pinch. Additionally they have a sandwich shop inside where they can make you something tasty to eat in about 10 minutes. I have driven out of my way to grab a sandwich from this place...Also, as a part of the neighborhood, they know the people and happenings of the area and I feel that is important in any neighborhood.”

“Nestled in Bellevue, this Persian grocery store is a true gem, offering an authentic slice of Persian culture right in our neighborhood. What makes this place stand out is the exceptional customer service, especially from Sherween, the store manager. His politeness and eagerness to assist, coupled with his profound knowledge of Persian cuisine, make every shopping experience delightful. The store may not be a bakery, but it more than makes up for it with its extensive range of ingredients. Whether you're looking for rare spices, quality rice, or a variety of nuts and dried fruits, this place has it all. The attention to customer needs is commendable – Sherween and his family go above and beyond to follow up on customer requests, ensuring that you leave with exactly what you need. This isn't just a grocery store; it's a gateway to exploring the rich flavors of Persian cuisine, guided by the warm and friendly staff. A must-visit for anyone in Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and the greater Seattle area looking to add an authentic touch to their culinary adventures!”

“My favorite neighborhood market. That staff there is absolutely incredible. You can tell they really care about their products and help you find things. It's not the largest market, but I still always end up finding exactly what I'm looking for. Quality produce and meat! Love coming here.”

“Often crowded, often can run out of items, for example southwest salad was not there. Also cilantro could not be found. Visibly inflation is showing prices going up”

“Usually it's hard to find big Eastern European store but this one not only has condiments but also freshly baked goods from local bakeries, prepared food and fresh produce. I even found some things from my home country Latvia. Very good store I am even ready to drive from DT Seattle!!!”

“Trader Joe’s is a staple in the community. Without Trader Joe’s what would we do, I’ll tell you, stand in long lines elsewhere and or have your groceries checked out by AI checkout stations having zero personality nor smile.”

“This place has been my go-to Persian grocery store for almost 7 years. They have majority of Persian, Russian, and Middle Eastern products that every household needs. I personally appreciate the staff's friendliness and their openness to feedback. They even brought in items I asked them like the Hobby chocolate and my favorite bread.”

“I usually know that there are many kind staff members, but this time I was so disappointed that I felt compelled to leave a review. We brought our bag and handed them over, but instead of packing our groceries, the staff member named Erik pushed the items towards us. I was packing them myself, and it took some time since we had a lot of groceries. I was shocked that Erik didn't offer to help. However, he immediately reached out to help a white customer behind us by taking her bag and packing her groceries. I don't like to bring up discrimination as an Asian, but isn't this a clear case of it?+I sent feedback to the headquarters, and the store manager called me right away to apologize and explain the follow-up actions. That was an attitude sufficient for making amends. I believe that by providing quick and clear feedback on customer service, it will help shape Trader Joe's corporate culture of positive customer service and build on its values. Thank you, Colin.”

“Decent grocery store in the neighborhood. Offer fresh produce and other groceries, house and kitchen stuff like a regular convenience store. They also have hot and cold food in bakery(ish) section.”

“Love love love this store. They have so many great non meat proteins. The produce is always fresh and good. They have nice cheeses and a pretty good deli. I love their big board buys and weekly specials. This is kind of like what the old Larry's market felt like.”

“If you're looking for good Scandinavian food and Scandinavian ware this is absolutely the must go to place. They typically keep everything well stocked. Call well ahead for special occasions like the holidays to make sure or to reserve the foods you most desire for your pallet. There are other Scandinavian specialty stores scattered throughout the Puget Sound region but this one by far is absolutely the best”

“Normally I try and maximize my bang for the buck by shopping at Costco when possible. It's a double edged sword though as there are fewer skus to choose from. To my surprise they didn't have canned clams. Chef's Store to the rescue! If it's food related there's a good chance you'll find it here. Good pricing too. Vegetables, fruit, meats, condiments , canned goods, utensils - pretty much everything food related. A serious foodie friend tuned me on to this place when it was called something else. Having a senior moment because I can't recall the name offhand. You might have to dodge a few sketchy looking folks in the neighborhood but once you're there - all good in da hood. :) They have little cans of clams but why mess around?”

“I saw a photo from a couple months ago stating this business was closed and wanted to update-- I just walked in earlier today and they're open! Such a fun place and the store keeper was really kind :)”

“The store is great, has lots of food products and a fairly good collection of wines. My main complaint of TJs in general is the packaging, lots of non-recyclabe plastic.”

“Love it. This is a great Brazilian grocer. Friendly and with many things in stock. They do charge a high price for many things, and that I do not like. But if you must have an ingredient from Brazil, they will have it more often than not.Meat stuff is all frozen, and there are no prepared foods made by them. But, overall, it's a good place.”

“Good place, wonderful international products with best prices..You find fresh hand-slaughtered meat (halal meat), cheeses, olives, herbs etc..The employees so friendly and helpful especially samira she is the best????”

“This store is so clean and organized. The employees are very helpful when asked where something is plus they also suggest possible alternatives to original product you asked for. Cashier's are very friendly and helpful too. There is also a warm feeling,( not the heater!), And a wonderful sense of humor throughout this store. I would highly recommend people to shop at this store and experience what I have experienced each and every time I go there. Trader Joe's used to be called Pronto Market when they first surfaced sometime I think in the 1970's. I will never stop shopping here and not only that but the food and beverages are so much healthier than all the other stores and very inexpensive. You can't go wrong shopping here. Please go there! You will not be disappointed!”

“EDIT: I came in later in the week and the owner offered me half off on a new elfbar to make up for it. I still advise double checking the date on them when you buy them here. But its the only time I've had an issue here after several months of shopping here.Bought an elfbar from here, it was expired, leaking, and overall not working.I asked if I could exchange it, and was told all sales are final. And I am not happy about that.I would not recommend buying disposable vapes from this store.Really disappointing because I've always had good experiences here in the past.I'd still recommend them for anything else because they are very friendly & willing to let you be short a dollar now and then if you need it.”

“This awesome European food store has brandy beans! Chocolates with brandy inside. They also have them with rum, cherry cordial and whiskey. Haven't seen these since Trader Joe's used to stick them years ago. They also have a yummy selection of other Eastern European candies... Amongst many other great finds for the gourmet foodie.”

“The sandwiches they make are fantastic. Choice of several meats, cheeses, and bread and lots of condiments too. Made to order right in front of you. The amount and size of meat slices overwhelms the bread. It is piled high and hangs off all sides of the sandwich bread. So good. The price they charge is a lot less than nearby sandwich shops which are mostly bread with some sandwich fixings. I also like their deep fried chicken. The pieces are huge with lots of crispy batter. They are lower priced than nearby chicken places for sure. I am on a low salt diet and the batter is a little salty for me. But I cheat once in awhile and get the chicken (don't tell my doctor) because I enjoy it so much. One thing I observed is they care about cooking the chicken to the correct temperature. They use one of those insta-temp thermometers and will not serve it until correct temp even if people, like me, are waiting for it. That's a very good thing! I find the people that work there very friendly and courteous especially the ladies that work in the deli.”
