“I’ve been going to Valkyrie for over a month now and I absolutely love it. The classes are motivating and just the right amount of challenge. Most importantly, the coaches really focus on form at this gym. Coach Aleta is always watching us carefully to make sure we’re performing our movements properly and I appreciate that so much. The members at the gym are so so welcoming and friendly and it makes the experience that much greater. Glad I found this gym! ?”

“I've been a member of the Seattle Athletic Club for almost 2 years and it was a huge step up from where I had been going. I've lived in the Northgate neighborhood since moving to Seattle over 6 years ago and had been going to another more commercial gym for a few years but made the change to Seattle Athletic club and don't regret it one bit. The facilities are clean, the staff is so friendly and accomodating, it is never overwhelmingly busy, and the class instructors are so nice and helpful if you are ever wanting to try something new. I really like the community feel too when they have parties for members seasonally where you get to see the staff and members all relaxed and letting loose. The only downside that I can possibly think of is that it is a little more expensive than national commercial gyms but it is well worth it.”

“Great teachers, great location, and I love the classes! I on-boarded with one of GLSC's trainers (shout out to Laura, who is a wonderful trainer and one of my favorite teachers!) to get acquainted with the techniques used during the group classes. Classes are capped at 12 participants, which means coaches can have eyes on you to make sure you're being safe and have good technique. The classes really focus on providing cues for getting the most out of each movement and not injuring yourself. The workouts are scalable, so you can push yourself according to what is best for your body on a given day (although I find that the workouts kick my ass - in a good way - on most days) I'm coming from the world of HIIT workouts, and while GLSC's classes certainly include some HIIT components, I appreciate that a focus of this gym involves barbells (for deadlifts, cleans, snatches, OH presses, etc). I'm a fan of this place and I'm happy to call this my home gym!”

“Just started up going here on a guest pass. It feels much more welcoming than other gyms I've been to. I'll have to update after we've been going for a while.”

“Kirkland CrossFit is an amazing gym with amazing coaches! After a long break from CrossFit I recently joined KCF, and I am glad I chose them over my former gym. The coaches (Jamie, Erica, Lenore, Jason), do a great job challenging you but are also a lot of fun and just all around great people. The members are all very welcoming and encouraging too! The only regrets I have is not joining sooner.”

“Slate has been a fantastic gym for me for about 3 years. Fitness-wise, I've noticed great gains in strength and mobility. Lifestyle-wise, I've found myself feeling better (re: more happy and energetic) throughout the rest of my day. Community-wise, it's perfect! a balance of friendly competition, coaches that understand and cater to your specific needs, and coaches and clients alike that hang out outside of the gym as well.PS - the coaches really know there sh*t about skeletal and muscular systems. Not only what things are and how they connect, but how to fix/heal them when they hurt.”

“I've been a Crossfitter for almost 7 years and a regular member at TPH for almost 2 years. TPH is hands down my favorite of the Crossfit gyms I've worked out at. The coaching is top notch, with a focus on safety and scaling workouts to meet the needs of each individual. The programming is thoughtful, with clearly-defined training cycles and routine retesting to measure our progress. And last but not least, the community is extremely friendly and supportive.”

“All of the staff here are friendly and energetic- Jules at the front desk is hilarious! The workouts are wonderful at Orangetheory, but what makes this location special is the amazing coaches. I have tried 4 different OT locations, so I really can vouche for this place. When I get tired of the gym monotony, OT is my favorite place to go and get excited about working out again ?”

“Great gym, tried out a lot of gyms in the area before coming here. This gym had the best combination of coaches, workouts, classes, and gym space. Loved working out here!”

“Experience Momentum at Mill Creek is a great place for CrossFit classes or to be seen by a Physical Therapist. The facility is nicely laid out has lots of light and also has showers and you're always greeted with a smile.Stephanie my main coach who is also a Physical Therapist has always guided me along in a quiet way but still holding me accountable so I improve, making sure your form is correct and you build strength.I've also taken other classes from Kyle, Gale and Dan each has their own coaching style but every one of them will help you get the work done.I was having shoulder pain and Dan helped me get movement back into that shoulder in a short time with his focused exercise approach. If you want results for overall health consider Experiance Momentum you will be glad you did.”

“I've been going to PUSH for a year now. It honestly just keeps getting better. The programming is super intentional. The coaches are knowledgeable, fun, and welcoming. The community and community events are the best I've ever been a part of and I've been doing CrossFit for a decade.”

“My wife and I were traveling in the area and we wanted a place to get our CrossFit fix. Lynnwood CrossFit was fairly close to the hotel we were staying in and their website was very helpful with good information about class schedule and what workout to expect. We went to a 7am class where they were training squat cleans. The instructor was an experienced level 2 who had been doing CrossFit over a decade. The owner was helping private clients but made sure to say hello to us. The class was fun, the community welcoming, and the equipment was fairly clean and well maintained. This is a good example of a well run local CrossFit box.”

“This is the only gym you should join! The ownership and staff are amazing. This is by gar the cleanest gym I've ever been a member of. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and the BEST coaches I've ever come to know. The equipment is always clean and ready to use. Some gyms go cheap and have old Olympic bars, weights, dumbbells, kettlebells, etc, not Invictus Seattle. They do a lot for their members. It doesn't feel transactional. The community involvement is heart warming and the members who workout there are very down to earth people. This is not a Bro gym, it's a wonderful community of people who care, share their knowledge, and fitness experience thoughtfully. I live in Sammamish (Klahanie neighborhood) and drive 25 minutes to be with this community of people who take health and fitness seriously while enjoying the journey of life. Sign up today!”

“TruFusion is an amazing place that has really ignited a fire in me to start a fitness journey. The environment is SO supportive and welcoming, no matter what you look like, or how fit you are. The instructors are very encouraging and the classes are easy to follow. You’re encouraged to go at your own pace and never made to feel bad if you can’t keep up. I love the variety they offer, and the hot classes are AMAZING. They have ample lockers and the locker rooms are nice. The mat and towel rentals are nice to have. Overall, it’s been worth every penny and for the first time in my life I look forward to working out!”

“I could never be consistent with my gym visits until I started at the Armory. It’s not only the gym itself (which is great!) but also the coaches (Rob and Shane are amazing) and the community and the atmosphere!Really happy my wife and I found this place over a year ago! Kudos!”

“This is by far the best gym I have ever been to. I was only living in the area for six months, but I learned so much and became so much stronger in that time. Lance and the other trainers are fantastic, and with such small classes you have a lot of one-on-one coaching. The exercises are also really adaptable to your fitness level and Lance is always thoughtful about modifying to address any injuries. Also, the other members are great and very welcoming. I have missed this gym a lot since I moved, but it set me up with a strong foundation of fitness and form for the future. Can't recommend it enough!”

“My first experience with CrossFit, worried that I should already look the part and act a certain way, I was pleasantly surprised to find that CFPR is truly a welcoming environment for everyone! All shapes and sizes, all abilities and strengths are embraced wholly and without judgement. Workouts are catered to meet each individual's need for their own, personal strength and exercise journey. Coaches are mindful, friendly and motivating. Examples and modifications are offered, tips and best practices are suggested and you are set to get as much as you want out of your time in the gym.”

“I love this gym, it’s never too crowded, everything is clean, it has all the equipment needed, it even has a little private room if you don’t want to work out in front of other people. it is a little bit more expensive than a regular gym but it is worth it.”

“This is the only gym/group fitness class that has ever worked for me. I started last year at age 44, overweight and totally out of shape. I joined with the sole goal of getting stronger. The coaches welcomed and encouraged me the entire way. I'm now down 20pounds, and in better shape than I was 10 years ago. The people are great - everyone's just there to work. It's all ages, all body types, so no judgment. Sam the owner is the best - she'll push you just enough to challenge yourself without getting discouraged or injured. I'm so grateful I finally found something that works for me!”

“As an out-of-town jazzerciser, it was so much fun to join this Seattle class! They were welcoming and the class was a wonderful work out. Now if I only lived in Seattle....”

“Best gym for me! I love the variety, the combination of strength & cardio, the setup (individual stations with a wide variety of equipment) and that I can always get a super challenging workout in. The instructors are so friendly and keep you motivated. And I love the extras they do like Yin Yoga on Sundays (just what I need after going hard during the week) & the 30 minute strength -only classes. Fun that you can even get an occasional boxing class in. Courtney, the owner, does a great job of creating a fun community through the gym (and she remembers EVERYONE’S names in every class which shows how much she cares). If your goal is to build a strong lean body and you need workouts that are different everyday to keep you engaged, this gym is a great option.”
