1615 Bendigo Blvd N, North BendBEST animal clinic in the PNW. They treat your pet like family and do everything to make them comfortable. My dog was terrified of everything when I got him; he was a rescue and needed patience and calm. They are a certified “fear free” clinic, which means they handle your pet with patience and go their speed. On his first visit, he shook and cowered. The vet Lisa and her wonderful staff, did not manhandle him, but instead waited, sat on the floor and talked to him. Fast forward to five years later. My dog almost crawls out the window with excitement when he realizes we are pulling into the clinic, because he is cannot wait to see his friends! It is one of his favorite places. Being a certified fear free clinic puts NBAC above the rest and they practice it. It is not just a sticker they put on their name tags, it is a process that they learn and go through training to receive the certification.
I also had a beautiful kitty that was my heart. She was also very fractious and quite terrifying to anyone that tried to do anything to her, except me. Instead of forcing her and making it a stressful situation, she was allowed to walk around the room and get familiar with where she was. She still “beat them up” but it was never like her visits to previous vets, where she had been forced and rushed. When she was 15 she was diagnosed with cancer. We did everything to save her. After her surgery, she was given 8 months to live and I was devastated. During this time, I was in often to get medication. They were so kind to me. She surpassed the 8 months, but the dreadful day came and they shed tears of compassion with me.

Twede's Cafe
137 West North Bend Way, North BendMan, Twede’s Cafe is such a legendary spot. If your a fan of Twin Peaks at all, you already know this is the iconic Double R Diner from the show, and walking in there honestly feels like stepping right onto the set. The whole place has that classic small town diner atmosphere, but you definitely gotta be careful because it gets super busy. We rolled up around 11am on a Sunday and got seated pretty easy, but by noon the line was crazy with like a 45 minute to an hour wait.
First off, huge shout out to the staff working the floor. The servers here are always super friendly and energetic, even with the nonstop crowd of tourists and fans coming through the front door. They keep the energy high and really take care of you.
Now for the food situation. When you first look at the menu, the prices look a little high at first for a diner, but the portions are really good honestly so it totally balances out in the end. We ended up trying a bunch of stuff across the table and here is how I would rank everything we got:
1. Cherry Pie: Absolute must get. Bro, it lives up to the hype and you cant leave without getting a slice.
2. Blue Cheese Burger: Awesome burger, super flavorful and cooked just right.
3. Club Sandwich: Pretty good, solid classic diner club with generous portions.
4. Corned Beef Hash: I thought it was just OK because it didnt have a super deep flavor, but my wife really liked it and again, huge portion.
5. Chili: I would say skip this one, it was just a bit bland compared to everything else.

145 East North Bend Way, North BendWe used to go to this place in our way to or back to ski, never remembered to post a review. Love the big ranch style house, and the decoration. Food was good especially after a cold tired ski day, servers were always attentive. Great atmosphere for a group dinner, grab a beer, 🍺 etc. we had a great dinner this time again.
