Mud Bay
1590 NW Gilman Blvd, IssaquahBig selection of Toys, Treats, Clothing for your pets. Different variety of animal treats and food. I personally have a chicken and 2 dogs and did leave with multiple things for them. The pricing to portion ration on food and treats is good. There is a good selection of cheap interesting treats for your dogs to expensive very unique treats. The employees were very nice and helpful, I never felt rushed or judged. Very clean and up kept on the inside. I do recommend coming here if you are in the area, me and my wife stopped by and left satisfied with what we got for our animals.

Pet Care

Meadows Cat Hospital
1480 NW Gilman Blvd # 6, IssaquahEveryone at Meadows Cat Hospital is absolutely fabulous. Everyone is so kind and friendly. With the vets I’ve had in the past, nothing compares to them. It is clear they care about their feline patients. The prompt calls with test results, and the follow up calls after vaccines or surgeries, shows that care. Also, Dr. Sparks is lovely! She talks you through everything and is very informative. For anyone with cats in the area, I highly recommend this vet.

Cobblestone Animal Hospital
600 NW Gilman Blvd d, IssaquahFrom the moment I made the first call to see if Cobblestone was a good choice for our family I knew they were the one! They not only heard but validated my worries and fears over my senior aging dog. Within 2 minutes had already nicknamed her (her exact nickname I might add!) But they hand picked the perfect exact provider to treat my dog's chronic illnesses but also customize her care to fit my desire for palliative care. Her first appt went amazing and Im blown away by the care and empathy. Such a difference from my previous Internal Med clinic. We matter here!

Alpine Animal Hospital, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner
888 NW Sammamish Rd, IssaquahWe had such a great experience with this vet while taking care of our dog, Blizzy. Everyone was friendly, patient, and made us feel comfortable right away. They took the time to explain things clearly and treated Blizzy with so much care and kindness.
It really meant a lot knowing she was in good hands. We’re so thankful for the great care and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vet they can trust!

Owens Equine
9506 240th Ave SE, IssaquahI reached out to Dr Owen’s on thanksgiving morning. I had called many many home vets hoping to have my dog euthanized at home instead of at the ER. Unfortunately my dog passed peacefully at the ER, but only Dr Owens got back to me with her availability. We wanted to take my dog home so our other pet could say goodbye. She offered to pick her up in the evening for a private cremation. I really appreciate that she communicated and provided services on thanksgiving day with little notice.she stayed in touch through the process, and her husband who came to pick up the body was so respectful towards us and my dogs body.
Her remains were kept safely in a dry location, and they came in a nice package with a beautiful wooden box, and paw prints and hair. She provided exceptional service in our darkest hour. Highly recommend her.

Annotto Bay Veterinary Clinic
425 Rainier Blvd N #3, IssaquahDr Allen is truly to most caring and friendly vet around. Her staff is fantastic as well.
Going to the vet is never fun for anyone, but she does her best to make both you and your furry family feel at ease. She’ll do everything on the floor with your pup if your pup is too nervous to be on the table. That’s just one of the many things she does. We’ve been going to her for years and honestly can’t imagine going any where else. Even after we moved about an hour away we still go back to her.

Cougar Mountain Veterinary Hospital & Wellness Center
880 Front St S, IssaquahDr Friedman is super nice and gentle with my dog. My dog is usually very nervous at the vet, but he allowed the me to be with my dog during the examination which made my doh feel much less nervous. He did a thorough examination and it was a great experience!

I was seen on time, my pup received his shot and medication refill, and we were in and out within 15 minutes! I have been to many Banfields across the country and this has been my best experience! Thanks team.

Pet Sitting & Training

Jax Dog Drop Riverdog
1400 19th Ave NW, IssaquahI’ve had both my dogs take numerous training classes at Jax for the past few months, and we really enjoy them! My older dog has really benefited from Keiko’s reactivity classes & Ive learned a lot about how to manage his behavior in a positive manner. Keiko’s assistant Caroline is also very helpful and attentive to each dog’s individual needs.
My puppy Kaia has been going to puppy play time and puppy classes with both Keiko and Leah since she was a tiny baby, and going to Jax is one of her favorite places. She’s turning out to be an awesome, well trained dog. We probably could stop taking classes with how good she is, but we continue to take as many as we can because of how much she loves going to Jax classes.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because we are quickly finding out that the facility gets really hot and does not have A/C. My pup has thick fur and does not feel well in the heat, so we likely will have to opt out of training for the warm months. It’s a huge bummer since she loves attending so much and will probably be sad about it!! Please add a solution for this!!

Capri Cellars
88 Front St S, IssaquahWhat a great wine bar! The level of knowledge with various levels of WSET degrees is pretty special. It’s rare to see that in one place. Their retail selection of wines and at the price points is equally compelling. If you love wine, find a way to visit here. Brenda, Matt, Matthew are all very friendly!

The Great American Diner & Bar
212 Front St N, IssaquahClean, good food, fast service, amazing atmosphere, and hefty servings. The food isn’t going to blow you away as top tier, but it’s the best diner food I’ve had in the king county area. Will happily go back. Got the veggie scramble which came loaded with veggies, and the country potatoes were very good. Has vegetarian options!

Paseo Issaquah
6160 E Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE, IssaquahMy favorite is the citrus salad + protein. I usually get it with pulled pork. If I’m trying to go the vegetarian route, I will get the citrus salad with corn, beans, and rice. The portion size is large. If you are in a hurry the service is fast and professional. This location is next door to a Jamba Juice. They have sidewalk patio seating.
The bread pudding I got for dessert was not to soggy, had the right amount of crunch and spring to it. Not to sweet. Could have used more spices.

Burgermaster
98 NE Gilman Blvd, IssaquahLooking forward to the Grand Opening, when they have the Drive In up and running, but happy they are here now, only if it’s a temporary drive through. The building is comping along though, are we’re super happy to have them in town. There burgers are awesome! Who needs an In-and-Out when there’s a Burger Master! Truth.

Las Margaritas
59 Front St N, IssaquahLike most Mexican restaurants in the US, they start you off with a basket of warm chips and a bowl of salsa.
I got the street tacos, which are surprisingly filling given how small each one is. There are two sauces you can put onto your tacos. Each one seems to have a strong cilantro flavor. If you don’t like cilantro maybe refrain from using them.
The tamale tasted great! It is covered in enchilada sauce which elevates the flavor. I have been disappointed in the tamales from the last 2 Mexican places I’ve been to, but this one hit the spot.
The horchata has a strong cinnamon flavor and is not too sweet!
The churro comes with strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream to dip in. I haven’t had a churro since Costco stopped selling them, but these are way better! Definitely a must get at the end of your meal.
