Generally rather shy, he recognizes in every caregiver on staff a calmness that feels good. Familiar. and a genuine love for the work that they do. Staff take the time to really know who they are spending time with; it’s clear from his eagerness to be led away from me when I drop him off, and the great shape I find him in upon my return. I don’t miss him any less now, but I am grateful he has company, consistency, and the balance of fun & calm time required during stressful times away from home to make us all feel safe. The warmth and attention given to special concerns- to injury accommodations, to administering meds and honoring rituals brings comfort to us both. I trust Big Valley with my most trusted friend. And that’s the best self care I can pay for.

19494 7th Avenue Northeast, PoulsboGood vet. Got an early appointment for my Pyreneess mix dog. Found out that he has osteoartheritis after an xray. Fee could have been little lower but atleast they didnt push me to get an MRI or an oncologist. she said he is in pain and might be fine for 2 weeks, put him in pain meds. He started getting worse around 12 days mark. We euthanized him to avoid him more pain.

We didn’t have any food so I can’t rate that but I will for sure be going back!
