Not only was the level of knowledge impressive, but the time taken to truly listen and understand what I needed for Chanel specifically made all the difference. The recommendations were thoughtful, practical, and clearly came from a place of real care and expertise.
What stood out most was the compassion and kindness. It’s clear there is a genuine passion for helping both animals and their owners. That combination of professionalism and personal care is rare.
I left feeling confident, supported, and honestly grateful for the experience. I haven’t encountered customer service like that in a long time. Birch is an absolute asset, and I will absolutely be coming back because of this experience.

8050 Lake City Way NE, Seattlei just got a new cat!! i’ve never had my own cat before, so i wasn’t sure what she would need. i asked the staff and they were so friendly and knowledgeable about different types of litter, dry food, wet food, and treat options. they also gave us some samples to try out to see what she likes best! i also had a bit of a panic right after my girl’s spay- she got the cone off in about 3 seconds, even when i tied it tighter. i took her in and they helped me find a bodysuit that would fit to cover her incision til it heals. i will definitely be coming back here!

Our one year old pup Princes Yue is challenging to say the least - she’s anxious getting groomed and can be very vocal and squirmy….especially when trying to trim her nails. Tanner and team did a great job at addressing all my concerns to their best capabilities while also not pushing her too much. They were able to bathe her, trim most of her nails, brush/ trim her fur in and in a short time frame. You can tell that they really care and are honest. I will definitely be a regular client.

She normally hates being handled by strangers, so I expected the worst honestly. The groomer called midway through to explain how she was doing and asked before trimming shorter sections. That communication made me trust them more immediately. Her fur looked cleaner and softer afterward, and she didn’t spend hours hiding under the couch once we got home. Definitely less stressful than past experiences elsewhere.

They clearly know how to handle and work with smaller, nervous dogs, whether it be ours or others we see come and go when picking up our dog. They do a professional job that is reflected, not only in our dogs appearance, but at the fact that he comes back unstressed and happy. Not just once, but for many different sessions. That is a much better reflection of what to expect if you visit this group, they have a loyal following in our neighborhood and deserve it!

They had gotten in a few fights, had some issues with guarding certain areas of our house, and struggled with walking on lead. We were immediately impressed with how professional Julie was and how quickly she understood the nuances of our dog’s personalities. Throughout our training program she wasn’t just prescriptive in giving us tools to directly address the problem areas but helped us to better understand our dogs and set up an environment at home with structure so that they could thrive. Plus the dogs loved her and she quickly became one of their favorites! We now have 2 dogs that walk well on lead and that have been getting along with each other without incident. We had tried other trainers in the past and while helpful it felt like something was missing. We’d make progress until we didn’t. If you’re in a similar situation I’d strongly recommend working with Julie. Her attention to detail and customization around the dogs and family’s needs is top notch.

She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Cierra communicated clearly about everything she planned to work on and made sure to focus on the unwanted behaviors we had mentioned beforehand.
She also sent us pictures and videos every day, which made it so special to watch our dog’s progress while he was away. Seeing the improvement day by day was incredible. By the end of the program, we were truly amazed at how much he had improved. We are so grateful to have had Cierra as our trainer and would highly recommend her!

We had the Samosa chat Sagg Paneer and chicken vindaloo with some garlic naan. All was delicious, vindaloo perfectly spicy and tangy and the samosa chat was delicious! Plates were eaten clean.

Resting Waters
9205 35th Ave SW, SeattleWe had a home euthanasia with CodaPet, which was as peaceful as could possibly be. We then had an hour between the euthanasia and the time Resting Waters came to pick up my girl so we could say goodbye privately. Kale arrived precisely on time, and was hands down the best person to have around on our worst day. Kale was so unbelievably kind and patient, answering my many questions along the way. I cannot say enough good things about him as a person, his perfect communication and absolute clarity via email, and his ability to say exactly the right thing at exactly the right time. The remembrance items were beautifully done, and the urn I received from John Ellefson at Touch Formed is stunning. Likewise, the rings we had made by Outside Sol are absolutely beautiful, and I haven't taken mine off since I received it nearly a year ago. While I will dread the day I have to make the call to Resting Waters, I will without a doubt be using their services again when the time comes. Kale and team, I cannot thank you enough for all that you do. I am beyond grateful knowing my girl was handled with respect and is at peace. Rest easy, my sweet Saiya.

7400 Sand Point Way NE, SeattleGood to have an off leash area, but the ground is largely dirt and gravel due to heavy use. The grass has suffered. Would prefer a bit more nature for the dogs. There’s a path to the lake and a swimming area that the water-inclined dogs love. Good fencing with entry and exit fenced anterooms to keep dogs from bolting in or out. Water and bowls available. People do a pretty good job of cleaning up their dog’s messes, fortunately. Parking can be tight during busy times, but not too bad because people are coming and going frequently.

Seattle Animal Shelter
2061 15th Ave W, SeattleGreat place to get your pets vaccinated, chipped, spayed or neutered, and licensed if you meet the income requirements. It can take time to get scheduled, but it's totally worth it. The employees are really nice and care about animals. Be sure to park on the north side of the building if you have mobillty issues when your taking your pet to the spay and neuter clinic.
