“I want to comment about Joni Cross and her team at Wa. Fed. In Puyallup. I’ve partnered with Washington Federal Bank using the owner build program for over 15 years. We’ve built 4 homes and are getting ready to start our 5th. Joni has always been a wealth of knowledge in the banking industry and definitely with home construction. Every time I’ve come to Joni seeking advice or have questions she usually has the answer or gets the answer. That makes the customer side of banking stress free, or at least as stress free as possible ?. I don’t do reviews often and if I do it’s usually a bad experience. “Good experience but my Gosh, the guy working the front desk in the front on Aug 28th around 1pm. He was helping a younger lady with the name Megan. He called her up just fine. She then gets called by a different banker. He said “I’m helping her, just drop her back in the queue.” Then another banker calls Megan. He glares at the banker. The banker goes “did you grab her?” He says with the rudest tone “yes”. How are they supposed to know? Meanwhile my grandmother is standing up because she doesn’t have her card and didn’t know she could still use the kiosk. He says “ma’am you need to check in at the kiosk and wait your turn” so rude? But anyways. Next banker calls a different persons name. Nobody comes up. The rude guy yells “just grab whoever is first! Jesus Christ!” Across the whole building. I watched him be rude to 3 people in the span of 5 minutes and stopped paying attention after my grandmother got called. It was ridiculous. Quit if you don’t like your job or can’t be nice to people, especially the poor coworkers. It’s embarrassing to them you speak that way to them but more embarrassing you behave that way as an adult. Idk who he was but I believe his last name started with an R from afar. Has to be a hostile work environment with this guy.”
“If I could give 10 STARS I would! Since moving to the community January 2022, Ocean Shores Timberland Bank customer service has been BEYOND outstanding! Disabled husband with wife still working, getting by week to week watching every penny a bad actor somewhere tried to steal every thing from us. No, we are not part of the "elite entitled rich upperclass" paycheck to paycheck is more accurate. Timberland stepped up and handled this B.S. in 1 day! Thank you, sincerely, to the entire Team at Timberland.”

The folks at this particular Chase branch in Puyallup are, by far and away, the most helpful and the most accommodating representatives of a bank I have ever been to.Keep in mind that this is not my bank; it is my son’s bank. I make deposits for him from time to time due to his work schedule. They have every right to treat me with the caution that a non-member should expect. This morning they aided me in depositing a paycheck that the post office machinery had torn in several places - torn so badly in fact that they had to re-envelope it to get it to my son.This is not the first time that they have facilitated a deposit when automated depositing had failed (previously due to a check printing issue). This is what personal service is all about, people making it happen. This is a win-win for customers and for the bank. Thank you!”
