“Good experience but my Gosh, the guy working the front desk in the front on Aug 28th around 1pm. He was helping a younger lady with the name Megan. He called her up just fine. She then gets called by a different banker. He said “I’m helping her, just drop her back in the queue.” Then another banker calls Megan. He glares at the banker. The banker goes “did you grab her?” He says with the rudest tone “yes”. How are they supposed to know? Meanwhile my grandmother is standing up because she doesn’t have her card and didn’t know she could still use the kiosk. He says “ma’am you need to check in at the kiosk and wait your turn” so rude? But anyways. Next banker calls a different persons name. Nobody comes up. The rude guy yells “just grab whoever is first! Jesus Christ!” Across the whole building. I watched him be rude to 3 people in the span of 5 minutes and stopped paying attention after my grandmother got called. It was ridiculous. Quit if you don’t like your job or can’t be nice to people, especially the poor coworkers. It’s embarrassing to them you speak that way to them but more embarrassing you behave that way as an adult. Idk who he was but I believe his last name started with an R from afar. Has to be a hostile work environment with this guy.”

The most important thing for me is that all agents at Gesa credit union would take the time to respond and answer my questions in a timely manner, kept me posted through the process and reassured me when I had doubt and anxiety. They told me what I needed to get started, after I provided all that was needed, I received notice of loan approval. We began 8/27/25 and closed and wrapped up with cash in hand on 9/18/25. “Paxton Dressler turned a nightmare day into the best banking experience I've had in 20 years.
I cannot recommend working with Paxton Dressler enough. To be honest, my day started with a terrible experience at the Tacoma branch. I had an appointment there, but the banker missed it entirely due to taking an extended lunch. Between the long drive and the wait, I wasted nearly an hour and had to walk out without even opening the account I needed because my own lunch break was over.
Frustrated, I called this branch and Paxton answered. He immediately understood my situation and assured me he could get me set up that same day.
The difference in service was night and day. I walked into the branch at 4:30 PM and was walking out by 4:47 PM with both a checking and savings account fully set up. Paxton greeted me by name the moment I stepped in, making me feel welcome and respected. He was efficient, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable—explaining exactly which accounts suited my specific situation.
It is genuinely hard to meet a banker of this caliber these days. He is the perfect model of professionalism and knows exactly how to create a pleasant experience for his customers.

“I pay my car note from online bill pay from my bank, which is Chase, and it doesn't cost me a penny to electronically send funds from my account to Kitsap Credit Union. Yesterday, on the 17 of April 2025, due to refinancing my vehicle, my account number with KCU changed by 1 number. They never told me, and I discovered my payment would be late because it got rejected. So, I decided I would make this month's payment on my credit card. The credit union rep was not nice. He told me it would cost me an extra $15 if I made my payment over the phone versus going inside. That made no sense to me. Instead of the rep explaining to me why I would be charged an extra $15 for making the payment over the phone, he started to get very agitated because I didn't understand. How can I understand when I don't know why? If I have to pay an extra $15 for making a payment over the phone instead of going into one of their facilities to pay on my car note, I want to know why. His demeanor was so unprofessional. Maybe he was having a bad day, or he is like that with all who he encounters.”
