The lady there( sorry I forgot your name) was extremely helpful when he got the cash out to pay the owner of the car. Then they couldn't figure out the title signatures and this employee went above and beyond to help my dad and the gentleman with him. “I have had the absolute best experience with WSECU since I joined in 2018. My husband works for the DOD in Germany and we have lived there for over 25 years. We were home in Washington state and we had a flood in our basement. I was able to take out two small loans to help pay for some of the repairs. I also love the convenience of having the CoOp Branching services. I can walk into my credit union on the Military post here in Germany and pay my loans on time monthly without the hassle of snail mail. I have always received excellent customer service at any branch I’ve gone too.”

“Two times just this week I have told a story about a lady named Patty. When this branch opened I worked at Starbucks and had just gone through a divorce. It was when the housing market crashed and we lost our house. So my credit was awful. This sweet lady came to my Starbucks each day to get her passion fruit lemonade and told me she could help me and to come see her. She was able to help me get a credit card and she helped me understand how to use it so my credit would build. She then helped me get a loan for my car. I am so thankful for you Patty. I want to help people the way you helped me!!!”

The most important thing for me is that all agents at Gesa credit union would take the time to respond and answer my questions in a timely manner, kept me posted through the process and reassured me when I had doubt and anxiety. They told me what I needed to get started, after I provided all that was needed, I received notice of loan approval. We began 8/27/25 and closed and wrapped up with cash in hand on 9/18/25. “Paxton Dressler turned a nightmare day into the best banking experience I've had in 20 years.
I cannot recommend working with Paxton Dressler enough. To be honest, my day started with a terrible experience at the Tacoma branch. I had an appointment there, but the banker missed it entirely due to taking an extended lunch. Between the long drive and the wait, I wasted nearly an hour and had to walk out without even opening the account I needed because my own lunch break was over.
Frustrated, I called this branch and Paxton answered. He immediately understood my situation and assured me he could get me set up that same day.
The difference in service was night and day. I walked into the branch at 4:30 PM and was walking out by 4:47 PM with both a checking and savings account fully set up. Paxton greeted me by name the moment I stepped in, making me feel welcome and respected. He was efficient, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable—explaining exactly which accounts suited my specific situation.
It is genuinely hard to meet a banker of this caliber these days. He is the perfect model of professionalism and knows exactly how to create a pleasant experience for his customers.
Note: He mentioned he will be transferring to the Bonney Lake branch soon. This local community is lucky to have him, and I wish him nothing but the best and continued success in his career. If you want a smooth, respectful banking experience, I highly recommend finding him there.”

“Zero day's of waiting on a larger than usual check to clear. It cleared immediately instead of taking up to 10 business days. People are kind and courteous, always smiling and taking care of your needs. Unlike the previous Umpqua bank owners that literally (at the Lakewood Washington Branch) treated us like criminal when we were upset with their policies about charging us $8 to cash a check written from an Umpqua bank check from my lawyer. They refused to even cash the check after I agreed to pay the $8 fee because I needed the money to pay Bills and didn't want to spend more money on fuel to go to another Branch. Then to make things worse, they called other Branches and told them not to cash the check for us. They actually closed and locked the doors of the South Puyallup WA Branch, and they closed the drive-up Banking to keep us from cashing our check. To this day, we still don't know what the Lakewood Branch could have told the other Branches to be treated in such a way. I hope that Manager at the Lakewood Branch got fired after Columbia Bank took over. He chased my wife out the door for no good reason. She was defending me for the way they treated me, with no threats towards any of the Bank employees. I'd love to get that video from Bank camera's to show the public how that Manager did business.”
