“This Midas is such a place full of special people. First off I went to an old Kent location and though 20 minutes late they still allowed me tobe seen today! That's not even the biggest thing before I give my keys I made sure there wasn't a mistake of what I believe I was quoted!!! There was a mistake I heard complete wrong! The front desk rep James didn't even blink a eye but told me they had a $10 off special and it brought my total less then what I thought I was quoted. When I say I am so grateful to God for this location. B/c my car needed her oil change lol. God Bless Midas and James too❤⚖”
“Ryan happens to have his shop across the street from my house and both my husband and I feel blessed. This is saying a lot because rarely does a mechanic impress my husband. Lol.
We have been to him 4 times with 3 different vehicles. He has been honest, up front about pricing and he knows when the job is going to need more than he can give it. I appreciate this kind of transparency in a mechanic. I highly recommend him. My only recommendation for him is to be more firm on timelines. . . . Sometimes asking for an oil change gets me a “maybe, if I can squeeze it in this week”- - . . Maybe it’s because we live across the street so it’s easier to possibly “squeeze” in an oil change. Two weeks of that in a row and my husband decided to change my oil. Regardless, if you need sometime who knows what they are doing and possibly just also needs a receptionist but doesn’t have one. . . . Call him up.”

“Here’s the story. I purchased a 2021 Orca Black Audi Q8 from a dealer on the peninsula last year. They said they’d get it “all cleaned up for me”. What they meant was, “Will put a bunch of swirl marks in your black paint!”
I was definitely disappointed, but not to worry they said they owed me a detail, so I took it back and they detailed it. More swirl marks!
Since I live in Seattle, I have my vehicle serviced at a local dealership. I was complaining about my paint, and they said that they have a service they use in-house that will get my paint cleaned up and looking new. I was skeptical, but I made the appointment. Lo and behold when I got my car back, it was immaculate!
The name of the service they use is Iden’s Dealer Services. Apparently, these guys do detailing and other services like PPF clear bra and window tinting for a lot of dealers in the area. So if you want the best detailing, or other services, see if your dealer has Iden’s on site to handle everything or insist that they do. These guys know how to bring the sexy!”

“Frank and Mark helped me restore my dad's 1990 Mercedes 420SEL. When my father passed away in 2024, he told me before he passed that he wanted to look at one of his cars. It was this 1990 Mercedes that he parked in his carport since 2019. This was the first luxury car that he bought when he first moved to the U.S. more than 20 years ago. My dad was a mechanic in Thailand. He also used to sell luxury cars like this to many politicians in Thailand after he graduated from law school. He loved cars and he knew how special 1990 Mercedes is. It was so difficult for me to find a mechanic in nears my house who would help me restore my dad's car. Then someone told me about Schmitt Automotive. Frank and Mark helped me restore this car. They didn't just help me fix the car so it can drive again. Frank helped me restore the car to the point that it's no longer leaking in the trunk, the radio that didn't work now is working great. It's amazing beyond amazing. Frank took care of this car as if it was his own car. It's rare to find a mechanic who is kind, honest and meticulous like Frank. It was very easy to communicate with Mark to get updates and etc during the process. I finally drove this 1990 Mercedes yesterday for the first time after Frank and Mark helped me fix it. I was so impressed how amazing it is to drive this car. I feel so grateful for the team at Schmitt Automotive!”

I'll still change my own oil 9 times out if 10 but when i have a car apart in my garage this is the go to. 10/10”
“This is a very honest shop. I take my cars here for exhaust services. Today, I took my lower control arms to get the crappy factory bushings pressed out (I'm replacing them with black poly bushings, they make your car handle really nice). They told me that the work didn't even take them that long and refused to take my money. This type of thing is very unheard of. I'm literally speechless.”
