Bonita's Pet Supplies
10159 Old Olympic Hwy, SequimDoes this store have a wide selection of products? No, but it is in a small space in a little strip mall and they do what they can with the space allowed. I would not have known of this place if I hadn't seen their booth at the Port Angeles Home Show last spring. I like this store because it is small, the staff is friendly, and they always greet me and ask if I need assistance when I come in. They have a resident calico ready for petting too! I come here because they have a nice array of bulk dog biscuits similar to the ones I could get at a Mud Bay Granary, but there is no MBG near here. I find the biscuit selection to be better than the nearby Petco.

Country Paw's Resort
42 Dory Rd, SequimThis place is the best. On a couple of different occasions now, Country Paw's has gone above and beyond to accommodate me and my Catahoula, Louie.
Their facility is truly one-of-a-kind and the care given and taken is evident on every level.
The peace of mind that comes with knowing your dog is in a safe, clean space with staff who truly care about each occupant cannot be quantified. I am so grateful for this place and the amazing care (and setting!) they provide.
I highly recommend their services.

Greywolf Veterinary Hospital
1102 E Washington St, SequimIn 2020 I rushed my 3 year old tabby cat Albus to them and found he needed emergency services. They didn't talk about payment right then as we discussed surgery. I then went to the front to pay the $30 copay and then a friend wired them $866 of his $1386 bill hat same day and we and set up a payment plan.
2 months later same problem and tho Greywolf was full with emergency cases they referred me to Olympic Vet in PA who I am sad to say we're not great as Greywolf. Olympic nearly turned us away cause of the ongoing payment plan with Grewolf. In the end Albus had to be sadly euthanized.
I really wish Greywolf had been the ones to assist Albie over the rainbow bridge because they are so kind and caring. Dr. Tyler was his usual vet. And the staff sent me flowers and lovely sympathy card after they were informed of Albus passing. They go above and beyond for their patients.
I finished paying the bill off 3 months after his passing. I wish I still lived in Sequim cause they'd be the only vet I'd use for my now 4 kitties: Primrose, Maggie, Jack and Huey.

Pacific Northwest Veterinary Hospital
289 W Bell St, SequimDr. Allen is an awesome vet who cares about all animals. Even ones that are not her normal patients. We were traveling through Port Angeles when our Bouvier became very sick. We were not able to get any other vet to help us but Dr. Allen came through for us. We can't thank you enough!

Susan Baillie DVM
202 N 7th Ave, SequimI called before they opened and got a call back only 10 minutes after they opened. They got my new puppy in within the hour. They gave me the steroid and antibiotics that she needed right there so I didn’t have to go to the pharmacy. Dr. Black coordinated with a specialist in Seattle to save my pup’s eye. So grateful for quick and amazing care. The entire staff I dealt with was so kind and understanding. So grateful for their services!!

African Sky Kennel
414 W Pine St, SequimBelinda has set a high standard of care for our fur baby. She is a wonderful and caring human being. Loki loves spending time with her. It's a home away from home for her. Her facility is immaculate. I cannot imagine a better place to take our pup when we have to leave her behind. There are not enough stars to leave for the work she does with your four legged family member. Thank you Belinda for the attention you show our pups while they are in your care. I trust no one with our Loki like I trust Belinda. Thank you!!

Uptown Cats
1076 Towne Rd, SequimHer Highness stayed at Uptown Cats in Sequim for about two weeks this Spring. When I picked her up she seemed very content and only mildly interested in seeing me. Apparently she enjoyed her time at Uptown Cats, watching birds from the window in her room and playing in the play area. I'm so relieved there is a good place close to home to board Her Highness.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Oak Table Cafe
292 W Bell St, SequimVery friendly attentive staff. Quaint. We shared the Eggs Nicole with potato pancakes which the kitchen kindly split for us. The creamy eggs with sauce and spinach on a croissant. Side of thick bacon. Delicious. My family also ordered the French toast meal which was also delicious. English muffins with homemade strawberry and raspberry jam. They were both very good. Also loved they had freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

David Family Taqueria
300 E Washington St, SequimI come from California so you can imagine what I expect when it comes to authentic Mexican street tacos. This place hits those check marks across the board! My entire family loves eating here, including my husband which says a WHOLE LOT! The food is always delicious and made fresh. I usually do pick up order cause kids - but it is a cute little spot to enjoy intimate dining. The pricing is good, and you get a lot of food! 10/10 highly recommend. Definitely a staple in the town, and our go-to when we decide to eat out! Never disappoints

Dynasty Restaurant
380 E Washington St, SequimBeen going to this place every year when we visit Sequim annually. Amazing food. Excellent portions and a true feel of an old fashioned family run restaurant.
Tonight I was in there and a waitress corrected a man’s order saying “That’s not what your wife orders you when she calls for takeout, are you sure that’s what you want”.
Absolutely couldn’t ask for a better place.
Sadly in keeping with the family atmosphere they are closed Sunday and Monday.

Dockside Grill
2577 W Sequim Bay Rd, SequimWhat we ordered was fantastic. Fiona took excellent care of us as well as other support staff. Sorry we didn't know your name. Calamari appetizer was a perfect starter. The Bouillabaisse was flavorful with lots of seafood. Salmon salad with the pistachio dressing was also very good. Dungeness burger tasty also filled with lots of crab meat. The restaurant overlooks the marina which made for a pleasant view during our meal.

Rainshadow Cafe
157 W Cedar St, SequimWe stopped by Rainshadow Cafe for breakfast. We got raspberry oat lattes to go & shared the one vegan chocolate baby cake that they had in the case. It was yummy but I could have used something a little more filling. We also got the veggie bagel sandwiches to take with us (without remoulade). We ate them a few hours late at the hoh rainforest & they were super tasty. No photo because we were starving after the drive but they were really good. Overall though don’t expect a lot of options for food.

Hurricane Coffee Co
104 W Washington St, SequimHere in Sequim we have quite a few places to stop in and have a nice cup of coffee or spritzer and a pastry. When I first moved here in 2013 I tried Hurricane Coffee and said I would never be returning. The coffee was bad. A few years ago I went to the Dungeness River Nature Center and the day it turned out pretty cold. I was with my parents and my dad wanted to buy his coffee and though I was a little hesitant about drinking this particular establishment's product I decided to give them a second chance. I ordered for my parents and myself... For my mother I ordered a mocha which I believe was Dark Raspberry Mocha with a just a splash of raspberry. My dad ordered regular coffee and I ordered a Honey Lavender latte. You could have knocked me over with a feather the coffee was that good. Not sure they're really under new management but whatever they've did, it improves their coffee at least in my book. When I head over in the direction of West Washington Street and Sequim Avenue I make it a point to stop in and I haven't been disappointed since!

Nourish Sequim
101 Provence View Lane, SequimThis was a pleasantly surprising experience as a vegan. My friend and I came in to celebrate as we are in town for hiking trip but wanted to do one nice dinner out. She made reservations and chose outdoors, not realizing it would be so cold, so I was freezing in my cotton dress. When I asked if they had any heaters, they kindly offered blankets so I took two and bundled myself up. For the amuse bouche, we got a radish with baba ghanoush and some sort of blackberry balsamic. For the first course, I got shishito peppers with baba ghanoush. The peppers weren't too spicy and paired well with the baba ghanoush. It's not something I would have probably sought out to eat myself so it was nice to have something different. For the main course, I got a shiitake, oyster mushroom rice noodle curry. This was surprisingly filling to the point that I had to waste some of the rice noodles. For dessert, I got a pear ginger blackberry fruit crisp. It was nice that you could taste that it wasn't made with a bunch of added sugar or anything. My friend got the other vegan dessert which was a coconut tapioca pudding, which I also tried, and was nice and light and tart, with some figs at the top. Service was great. Our server asked right off the bat about dietary restrictions so I told her vegan, no honey for myself. There was a very long gap between course 1 and course 2 which may have led to me getting full earlier than anticipated, and then the gap between the entree and dessert wasn't as vast. Our entire dinner took about two hours at Nourish, 7-9pm, which is longer than we expected, but the food was a pleasant experience. As a vegan, a little more protein was top of mind when reading the menu, but I love that they created good vegetable based dishes without any mock meats or excess sodium or processed ingredients. My friend also really enjoyed her food. Priced at $78 per person, it's a nice night out. We recommend.
