“Tried to find something as simple as shoelaces. One might think thats easy, but it isn‘t. Tried many stores and got the hints to log on amazon. Well, this store was my last resort and of course it also offers the small details that a good shoe store requires …. shoe laces … in different shapes, colors and lengths :) Above all a very friendly sales-man who wasn‘t bothered to take his time to pick something as little as the right shoelaces for me. Customers value these small details and they make the difference to any other store.”

“Phenomenal place run by a great guy, Kevin! I have sold to him multiple times and bought from him a few times. Prices are very fair and better than the surrounding competition from both a buyer and seller perspective. He also usually pays higher than StockX payout which other stores in the area can't say the same. All the other associates are also friendly. My girlfriend and I also just recently went to his second store opening in Renton and it was a very well-run event with food, doorbuster, and other deals throughout. He also controlled the crowd and store very well. I have also been very happy with the communication I have received over social media. I have reached out to SoleSeattle multiple times to inquire about varying topics, from selling, buying, and everything else in-between and they have always been very responsive and straight to the point. Highly recommend this shop more than anywhere else in the area.”

“Walked into the store in the middle of the ‘weekend madness’ at Bellevue Square Mall after seeing some cute shoes in the window display. An hour later walked out with three cute AND comfortable pairs! For a size 10 who NEVER finds appropriate footwear this was a feat in itself.

“I made my first visit to Market Street Shoes yesterday, and I will absolutely be a repeat customer! I felt welcomed and attended to as soon as I walked in. I was surprised and excited to see that the shop also had a wonderfully curated clothing selection! I wear a US women’s 12-14; often, small shops like Market Street Shoes won’t have options for me. There ended up being plenty of colorful, fun garments for me to try on!When Kelsey saw I had my hands full of clothes, she was quick to start a dressing room while I kept browsing. After I’d been in the room for about 5-7 minutes, Danelle came over and asked how I was doing. I was trying on a dress that made me feel so beautiful. When I showed Danelle what I was trying on, she gave me a big smile and said, ‘I can tell you something looks great, but it really matters how you feel in it, and I can tell you feel really good. It looks made for you.’ When I was finished with clothes, a third shop attendant (who’s name I didn’t get, but she was wearing a wonderful 80s-inspired neon-punk jacket and awesome red triangle earrings) offered to keep the dress behind the counter while I kept shopping.Danelle continued to help me as I started to look at shoes. She was knowledgeable, kind, and gave me great options for the footwear needs I communicated with her! She also helped me figure out that, lo and behold, the reason I’ve been having foot pain is because I’ve been wearing the wrong shoe size! I have a wide toe box and have been compensating for that by sizing up at shoe stores. Danelle heat-widened a pair of adorable leather orange sandals for me. She was super quick when grabbing my size options from the back, and communicated with her team when the LAST pair of a shoe in my size was playing hard to get in the stockroom. It was great to see the team members supporting each other when the shop had a steady amount of traffic soon after opening!I ended up getting three new pairs of shoes. I started breaking in a pair yesterday, and my feet are already feeling so much happier! When checking out, Danelle made sure to get my basic info to start tracking by purchase history. She also let me know that after getting 12 full-price items, I get 25% off! After chatting with me at the counter while bagging my shoes and tissue-paper-wrapped dress, Danelle gave me a very warm farewell.I likely would’ve been a repeat customer because of the clothes and shoes, but I will DEFINITELY be returning because of the wonderful experience I had with Danelle and the rest of the Market Street Shoes staff. A big thank you to the whole team for the obvious care that is put in to every aspect of the shop. Cheers!”

“I finally had the opportunity to visit this store after years of running exclusively in brooks shoes. My wife and I were very impressed with the layout and selection one might expect from a flagship store, but the staff were the touch that made it a memorable experience. I’ve purchased 12+ pairs of their shoes, and typically replace them after 500 miles of road running but have a peculiar wear spot on the sole that’s unique to me. I was able to ask several questions about the wear, and was provided with several recommendations. The staff made me feel like my specific to me running questions were actually important, and it genuinely furthered my trust with the brand. I’m thankful that there are folks that truly made me feel special by just having the hobby of running. “I can count on Woolly Mammoth to have the kind of high quality and comfortable shoes that I look for. Even better that I can look through their current selection online and see if they have something that might work for my specific needs. Yesterday I went in hoping to find a certain model and size of Dansko shoe. The clerk was immediately helpful and found what I was looking for. She watched carefully when I tried on the pair of shoes (strap at heel) and demonstrated expertise and knowledge of the shoes by her observations of how they fit. There was no high pressure sales pitches, just careful attention and feedback. When I choose shoes there, I’m never disappointed. You pay for what you get and you can be confident their products are worth it. I highly recommend Woolly Mammoth as one of the best enduring Seattle shoe stores.”

He and Chloe were both super helpful and made everything so easy and stress-free. Amazing customer service from start to finish. They both seriously deserve a raise!”
“I had no idea this place existed but I'm so glad I found it! So I made an in-app purchase with a store pickup in Lynnwood since the downtown local is no longer. Trying to find the luggage dept was interesting but upon searching for it on the second floor I ran into this place called "Backstage." I know it sounds a little mafia-like ? and although things are scattered, kind of messy and disorganized, think..."Nordstrom level Ross" ? you can still find some great deals here for mid to high-end brand names. Who even knew this existed? After finding backstage I ended up returning the in-app purchase and ended up buying an in-store Black Friday deal on a Samsonite $400+ hardside carry-on I got for less than $200. Literally, Backstage is basically Macy's on a much smaller scale and a little bit crazier (like it's really hot mess). If you don't mind that and appreciate the savings then it's worth your visit.”
