Ace has been my go to hardware store because the prices are okay (everywhere is too expensive), the selection is good for me, and the employees are so nice and helpful! I spent over an hour at Lowe’s and Ace Hardware trying to find a bolt for my bike rack (M8 or 9 X 120-140) - their bolts were disorganized, the staff didn’t know anything, and I couldn’t find the metric size and length I needed. I ended up with the closest English size bolt but it wouldn’t fit. An older employee whispered to me to go to Tacoma Screw and I am so glad I did. I walked in, showed the guy at the counter what I needed, he walked back, and in a minute had it for me. He even saved me a trip to return the English size bolts, washers & nuts at Lowe’s because he took them in exchange for what I was buying. I also found the coolest quick release drill bit holder - now the bits will not pop out while I’m working.”

So he knows roofing inside and out. Allot of roofers forget about convoy, but if you don't atleast give them a call, you will never know, if you can get a better deal. So make sure, if your tired of your current supplier,call Convoy. They also have the best loaders, they will go the extra mile, to get you loaded up, it's better than most suppliers, where they hate there job, and could care less about getting your truck loaded. “These guys are great. They always have what we need and their customer service is next level. We were in a bind and couldn’t leave a job. Called late afternoon and asked if it was possible to have a handful of bolts delivered and was asked when and where. We would have had missed flights and extra days on the job without these guys.We also had a little oversight on the job and didn’t have enough water with us up a tower. Feeling weak from dehydration but in a rush to finish the job I asked Rick I believe who delivered the bolts if he could find a few bottles of water at a local store and put them on a lifting line up to us. Without hesitation he got water to us with snacks and declined compensation. That is so far above and beyond I don’t know to adequately show my appreciation.These guys have always been so helpful with what we need and patient when I’m trying to figure out what will work but today I feel the need to publicly give a shout out. I wasn’t expecting the service I got but man did they come through!”
