“I called before my visit to confirm they carried what I needed, and the phone experience was great—both associates were helpful and kind. When I arrived, the cashier made sure I got every answer I was looking for. She didn’t know the answer to one of my questions, and I was ready to just guess, but she insisted on calling someone who had more knowledge about my situation.
The associate she brought in was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and really understood my needs. The associate who brought the items out to my truck was also exceptionally nice—he even loaded the bags into the bed for me.
I had been nervous about making this trip because I honestly had no idea what I needed, but every one of these associates made me feel comfortable and taken care of. I’m truly grateful for their help.”
“I decided to make a DIY little library/pantry so of course, I needed wood. I figured I'd rather go somewhere local versus supporting a big box store. After reading other reviews, I decided to check out Brookdale. I walked in with a drawing and a cut sheet and Brad was so nice! He helped me figure out how to utilize 1 piece of plywood & minimize cuts. He mapped it out and then helped me grab all the other necessary items I needed. I pulled around back and Miguel (I hope I'm remembering his name right - If not, I am so so sorry!) Was there to help cut my plywood for me. He continuously confirmed the dimensions Brad and I drew up to ensure everything was right since he was likely cutting much smaller pieces than he's used to and then he loaded it all into my car for me. If you're like me and doing a DIY project & don'tknow where to start, I can't recommend coming here enough! They'll even do smaller rough cuts if you ask for $1/cut which I find to be super reasonable. Thanks Brookdale Lumber and team!”
“Came to the base to do some installations, only to find out kits had mismilled screws 3000 plus. Being new to area I went to Fastenal out of name recognition no luck. Could not tell me where to go. So stopped at a O'Reilly's they told me about Tacoma screw
Went to the Olympia location Jared found what I needed but that location only had 200 but found another 800 at the Tacoma location so grabbed those as well and they had the rest of the order two days late. Before I could write this review I had another bunch of kits missing specifically nuts and screws
They again saved the day it me enough to get thru the day with more coming in tomorrow.
Jared, Brady and especially David !! He really when above and beyond to meet our needs, to find what I needed and get it to me and follow thru with all communications and status updates.
And Sarah help out today big time

I appreciate his attention to detail and professionalism. I didn't get their names, but the 2 gentlemen on the forklifts were speedy and pleasant, I didn't wait long for my lumber to be pulled and brought to my vehicle.This was my first time purchasing from this company and they have gained a return customer!”
“We love our local Ace stores. This one has a Hallmark store inside which is a treat when u need it. They have a beverage station too for a complimentary soda while u shop.”

“I ls swapped my 97 gmt400 and needed to join the ls fuel lines to the gmt400 fuel lines and replace some of the hard line with fuel injection hose with new fittings. Waited about 45 minutes and it was done for about 80 dollars.”

Filling the propane tank was very quick. The guy saw me walking to the pump and literally beat me to it. Apparently that is normal.
I'm told they are slightly more expensive than u-hual, but not wait time more than offsets that small difference.”
“Looking for a particular item that O'Reillys & autozome didn't have. I asked the cashier if they had it and within minutes another young lady came out and walked me to that said item and found it. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Customer service was great! Thank you”

“Our contractor purchased all of the materials for a patio deck from Gray. After a couple months we had issues with the composite deck boards and Gray Lumber worked with the manufacturer to set up replacements.
Gray Lumber was able to negotiate a better replacement package that included coverage for labor costs. We would not have been able to negotiate a similar agreement.

“I was able to rent an auger they had 2 in stock. Apparently, you can't reserve heavy machines online as it showed nothing for Sat rentals. So I just called in and they opened at 6am. Victor was very helpful gave me the run down of the machine and got me out in no time. Thank you so much, Victor!”

“If you want cheap, no knowledge, and probably not what you need, go to one of the big box stores. If you want knowledgeable people, fast service, and darn near any fastener/tool you could need come here. I came here to find one very weird fastener for an old piece of yard furniture. I gave one of the team the only copy I had and three minutes later I had exactly what I needed. I’ll be back here again.”

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE - patient, got me a cart, helped select my plywood and cut it.I hate shopping because sometimes I feel people are working and not genuinely helping you. He helped me. Not that it matters but if it helps get him accolades, the gentleman was deaf. You're lucky to have him Home Depot!”
“My daughter locked herself out of her bedroom we tried everything to get it open. Decided to call for help.He showed up the manager and got the door open. It was a Schlage so it took a bit to get open. We are very happy for the service.Quick visit and we can get back to life.”

“A great addition to the neighborhood! Easy to get to, plenty of parking, great selection of tools, gloves, construction stuffs and a friendly staff to boot! The showroom is not open to the public right now due to Covid 19 but employees are there and grab stuff for you. You can also call ahead and they'll bring it out.”

“This place was awesome. We have a home built in 1917 and it so hard to find replacements that look right. This place has everything we have been looking for and it wasn't overpriced. The staff was so friendly and the store is so clean with everything clearly priced.”
