“I love this store! They had to move because of construction at their old location, but I think this new location on Winnebago is even better. They have the best fair trade items! I’ve purchased candy, soaps, cat toys, cards, coffee, tea, and snacks as gifts and for myself. I love their jewelry so much, I can barely leave the store without buying something. My daughter and I entered the store for the first time. We were both greeted warmly and asked if there was any we were interested in. I virtually never leave a store as this type without purchasing something.
I stated I wasn't sure and the stated in the same tone and volume I had just finished working.
The owner/ manager and employee turned to each other and started to chat. No worries. We browsed the store and I needed a quite replacement item and I found it. My daughter picked up a couple of items.
The store is well organized and seems to cater to a variety of clientele. Parking is sufficient.”

“Burnie's, both locations are just great, always full of treasures and surprises. When my son who is now 11, was 2, all he wanted in the world was a piece of amber with a bug in it. Eventually, off to Burnie's we went. He subsequently lost the item in a tragic, "I hide it from my friends in a trash can so nobody would take it" incident. Years later, on another magical Burnie's expedition, we mentioned the funny story, and Ben said he had an idea of how to fix the situation. There are very few places that can fix the injuries of childhood. Well played Burnie's, well played. Always a pleasure to visit your treasures.”

“I had never been to any sort of Pawn store due to me being from a small town in the middle of nowhere. I was anxious walking into Pawn America because I didn’t know what to expect when I was pawning my ring. Stephen noticed how anxious I was and walked me through the whole process! He even went into depth to explain how they determine if the diamonds/silver are real. It was a super neat experience to see how it’s done, but I also felt very comfortable after that. “Chris Keenan is an incredible artist! He took our ideas for wedding rings and created the most gorgeous matching set. The original stone in the setting was a beach stone. It shattered and Chris suggested we replace it with white jade. It is absolutely perfect!!! I would recommend Chris and all the folks at Studio Jewelers to anyone!”
