“I want to give kudos to the staff of the Hilldale store. On Black Friday my four-year-old granddaughter accidentally knocked off a glass shaker. The staff immediately sprang into action, not to look for payment of the item, but to ensure that the girl hadn't been hurt. They were so concerned when they saw her crying after the incident.I will make sure to return to the store to do some shopping this holiday season”

“My experience here was delightful. The staff were talkative without unintentionally overwhelming shoppers, and the displays were gorgeous. As someone who used to live in Colorado, and enjoys a nature or mountain feel, this place was the perfect amount of cozy. The lighting was mellow, and the space itself was cozy without feeling claustrophobic. I would give 5 stars, however I personally felt the prices were a bit above what I was looking for. I'm confident that the quality of the clothing is worth higher end, however it felt just a smidge above what I expected. Overall, definitely make a note to visit if you're in the area, this place is fantastic”

“Staff are super helpful. Clothes are pricey but hold up well for years. When I find something I like I usually get several colors as styles sometimes change from year to year. If they don't have your size they will find it at another location and ship to your home with no shipping fee. Love this company.”

“Google asked me how my visit was...and I really had to think about it. When I walked into the East Town Mall Hot Topic....it felt more like a Lukewarm Conversation. Gone were the mall goth employees and black spiderweb windows that would drive fear into Suburban soccer mom's hearts. No longer were there aisles of CDs, records, or headphones to listen to HIM's newest music. Instead, racks of Spongebob and Naruto merchandise lined the middle tables, toys from all kinds of nostalgic 90's movies, and novelty t-shirts that seem more like "tepid topics" than anything current. I walked in very specifically because I had a gift exchange where the person wanted Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise...which is at the store in droves. Did I buy something? Sure did. Would I do it again? Tough to say... I can't think with the 13-year-old inside of me screaming that Hot Topic has become what it most feared -a poser.”

Janel saw that I was looking around, trying to find the jeans for us gals with a little more junk in the trunk.You see, I have a friend who told me Buckle Black Jeans = No back gap. “I come to Madison once or twice a year and always go to every eight to get a few things to update my wardrobe. I love the store but my last time, there a few weeks ago, I bought an Evereve long sleeve top which I wore home, (which was about a 4 Hour Car Drive). When I got home, I realized the material even though it was silky soft, my main reason for buying it, was not conducive for a seatbelt. It snagged, apparently all the way home, which I did not realize until I got into my home. It’s ruined, and I will never be able to wear it again. Sad since it was not cheap.”
