“Just stopped in after eating at the Turkish cafe and got some cute pants. The shop owner was super nice, and told us so much of how she and her husband came about all the great prints, and the shop! Madison ... this is a gem with cute stuff for gifts for your friends or co workers. So much to look at! I highly recommend this store!”
“The East location has such friendly employees! And nobody makes me feel guilty for a big return! ?. Plus, last time I checked, Old Navy doesn't fund fascist dictators, so I prefer to shop here no matter what. This just happens to be a superb location.”

“Worth the trip and the time. Janice is a spirited lady with a passion for beautiful imported baubles and carvings. It is literally like an Indonesian "bazzarre" visiting her shop, but I always leave with a few little gems. This is my go-to place when I'm looking for a low-cost, unique gift for my friends and family. Her website does not do it justice--you need to call and start the conversation of what you are looking for. Here are a few headband/masks that we got.”

“Google asked me how my visit was...and I really had to think about it. When I walked into the East Town Mall Hot Topic....it felt more like a Lukewarm Conversation. Gone were the mall goth employees and black spiderweb windows that would drive fear into Suburban soccer mom's hearts. No longer were there aisles of CDs, records, or headphones to listen to HIM's newest music. Instead, racks of Spongebob and Naruto merchandise lined the middle tables, toys from all kinds of nostalgic 90's movies, and novelty t-shirts that seem more like "tepid topics" than anything current. I walked in very specifically because I had a gift exchange where the person wanted Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise...which is at the store in droves. Did I buy something? Sure did. Would I do it again? Tough to say... I can't think with the 13-year-old inside of me screaming that Hot Topic has become what it most feared -a poser.”
“The Amazon drop-off area, in particular, at this store is the best experience I’ve ever had returning items, especially if John is working. He is efficient, pleasant and always great to interact with.”
“Cute little thrift store. There is a rack with items that are individually priced but the majority of the items in the store are $5 each. Goodies, pants, t-shirts, shorts, leggings and more for only $5 each 🤯 You can also fill up a bag for $20 (if you bring in donations) or $30 if you don't bring anything in.
There is also a FREE bin located right outside the store where you can grab some items for FREE. I got a couple shirts and a mug for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.”

“The worker that helped me today was SO wonderful, and helped me find sales when he noticed I was staring at certain items. He unpromptedly checked the back for something he thought I’d want (and was right! It was my favorite purchase that day!) and was very sweet and attentive. He even greeted us on the way in and checked in to make sure we were finding what we wanted. Also pulled some graphic novels from the back that had just been stocked but not put out yet for my sister. Absolutely wonderful service and I would and will come again!”
“Pam helped me pick out some leggings that stretched to fit me while pregnant and continue to fit me well now. I’ve been lucky enough to get to work with her each time I’ve been in the store since and she, on top of the excellent clothes and awesome company mission, keep me coming back!”
“I was so lucky and was helped by a young woman named Holly. Oh my god, what a delight she is. She was incredible. Great assistance with measuring, finding what I wanted (a dress), and with providing an accurate sizing for my bust so I can shop for new bras as well (online only unfortunately but that’s life lol).
She’s an absolute doll and truly made something I despise as much as shopping a really pleasant experience.

“Lovely items! I am not sure it is a typical thrift store most of the items were boutique stuff, so there were a lot of supplies of similar items. Reminds me more of Charlotte Russe in the clothing options. Great location and price for items were reasonable. Be sure to check out their bulletin board too, lots of resources and information about local activities and events.”
“I stopped by Sunne Boutique on Sunday, 11/9, with nothing specific in mind to shop for, but I had always heard great things. Carrie welcomed me in and gave me time to browse, making suggestions and engaging in small talk along the way. She showed me a matching top for the skirt I liked and gave her opinion on the sizing. I left with a beautiful skirt and a fabulous pair of pants, and I will be able to browse the jewelry and more very soon!”

“I LOVE these stores!! They have been added to my "Happy Places" List. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable and showed me things I didn't notice (like the fact that a rack with flowy skirts also had pants) and that you sell belts and on and on. Drive over an hour just to see your place(s) and it uplifted my soul as always!! ?”

“Today my girlfriend got a bad headache at the mall and we sat on the bench in front of the Vans store. I decided to ask them if they had any aspirin for her head. They have me a bottle of cold water and some aspirin. We couldn’t have been more great-full. They helped us and we didn’t even go in the store. Great people there. Highly recommend.”
“My friend took me to this store because she said she loves Maurices. They were so very helpful. I got a couple of things & My friend ordered us from the store, the Luxe High rise Leggings. We just got them .. I love them, so comfortable! I've never had them before. I will be back.”
“I wish I would’ve gotten his name, but, about one month ago there was a nice gentleman with blonde hair who was so incredibly helpful. I am never one to ask for help or accept help in stores, but as I was walking around wondering where to start, he jumped right in and offered to get me a fitting room started with different sizes to try on. I accepted the help and the first round we found my size. He had such a professional, calm demeanor that you don’t find nearly as much. I will absolutely be coming back to this location to buy my future jeans.”
“What an incredible store! I was so excited to see my friends store while in Madison for Thanksgiving and was not disappointed. The colors and merchandising just warm you up right when you walk in. The team is friendly and attentive. I couldn’t stop my eyes from roaming all around to take in all the colors and merchandise. “Love this place. They take the time to get to know you and your tastes. Only place I can find unique casual men's clothing in town. It's a little pricey, but I am willing to pay for cool quality clothing. It's better than any stuff at the boring department stores.”
“This store has been on state street for a long time for good reason. It is a unique little store with handmade and imported crafts, instruments, and other items from other cultures. I did not expect to find fine jewelry, which staff were gracious in working with me to purchase. Overall good vibes.
One change I would be interested in however is to see some mosaic lamps (which there seemed to be an abundance of) replaced by other unique and interesting handcrafted items the store does not yet have yet fits its theme.”

“I come to Madison once or twice a year and always go to every eight to get a few things to update my wardrobe. I love the store but my last time, there a few weeks ago, I bought an Evereve long sleeve top which I wore home, (which was about a 4 Hour Car Drive). When I got home, I realized the material even though it was silky soft, my main reason for buying it, was not conducive for a seatbelt. It snagged, apparently all the way home, which I did not realize until I got into my home. It’s ruined, and I will never be able to wear it again. Sad since it was not cheap.”
