“Google asked me how my visit was...and I really had to think about it. When I walked into the East Town Mall Hot Topic....it felt more like a Lukewarm Conversation. Gone were the mall goth employees and black spiderweb windows that would drive fear into Suburban soccer mom's hearts. No longer were there aisles of CDs, records, or headphones to listen to HIM's newest music. Instead, racks of Spongebob and Naruto merchandise lined the middle tables, toys from all kinds of nostalgic 90's movies, and novelty t-shirts that seem more like "tepid topics" than anything current. I walked in very specifically because I had a gift exchange where the person wanted Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise...which is at the store in droves. Did I buy something? Sure did. Would I do it again? Tough to say... I can't think with the 13-year-old inside of me screaming that Hot Topic has become what it most feared -a poser.”

“The worker that helped me today was SO wonderful, and helped me find sales when he noticed I was staring at certain items. He unpromptedly checked the back for something he thought I’d want (and was right! It was my favorite purchase that day!) and was very sweet and attentive. He even greeted us on the way in and checked in to make sure we were finding what we wanted. Also pulled some graphic novels from the back that had just been stocked but not put out yet for my sister. Absolutely wonderful service and I would and will come again!”

“I wish I would’ve gotten his name, but, about one month ago there was a nice gentleman with blonde hair who was so incredibly helpful. I am never one to ask for help or accept help in stores, but as I was walking around wondering where to start, he jumped right in and offered to get me a fitting room started with different sizes to try on. I accepted the help and the first round we found my size. He had such a professional, calm demeanor that you don’t find nearly as much. “ROSS is my favorite store, & here's why. My feet are size 15 and it's difficult for me to find shoes in my size. I found a pair of size 15 Jordans for $65. That is an incredible deal. You never know what you'll find here. I've found awesome snapbacks, household trinkets, and other gems. Staff was also friendly.”
“This is the closest Ragstock to me, and I've watched it evolve over the past year or so. It used to feel a bit cold and distant when I would go in there, but now I notice the workers actually joking around with each other, chatting to one another, getting work done, and also greeting me upon entry. Idk if they got new management or are just more on top of things, but I've really appreciated how the store has stepped up recently!”

It’s not like in other stores where they follow you around and constantly ask questions. I come here regularly and really enjoy it. There are always some discounts and beautiful clothing designs. Checkout is quick and easy — you pay and go. I’ve never had any problems here. The store itself is very clean, including the fitting rooms. I’ve been here on very quiet days as well as on days when it was extremely crowded, and the fitting rooms are always clean?”
