“I want to share the superb service/repair of my car door latch I got from the service department a week or so ago. I came in and asked if there was a chance that one of the service guys could look at repairing my driver side door latch, which I had broken a few days prior to this. The first person that I talked with was Hayden the service center manager--who said he would check into seeing if one of the service guys could fix my latch. Then I worked with Dre from this point on--He said that he would be able to fix the latch but I had to order the part to get the work done. I was more then happy to order the part and pick it up. Took the part in last Wednesday morning before work and the vehicle was done when I got done with work. I want to let Hayden and Dre know what a wonderful experience I had and thank Dre for going out of his way to help with getting this fixed.”
“People working there are extremely knowledgeable about footwear and activity. I am a runner with some issue and Stefy was absolutely outstanding to find me the perfect pairs of shoes! She took her time, she listened, she measured my feet and she kept listening to my feeling about the shoes. Great experience.!”
“Fast service even on a busy day. It helped that I knew what I wanted and only tried on 2 pair. The tread mill was a nice touch to test out the shoes. Didn't give 5 because I didn't test their knowledge to know if their knowledgeable or not. Will most likely return”

“Lane very patiently walked us through the process of buying a new bike, clearly explained the pros and cons of different types and accessories, and was happy to let us take a half hour to double check the used bike store just to confirm we were getting a good deal (we were).
My girlfriend rode it home and she is thrilled with her purchase and how much better it is compared to her old department store bike. We will be returning in the future!”

“This store is clean and has a good selection, but some uw merchandise is only sold at their location on State St. It is much smaller in size so, it does have a smaller selection but they still sell many different types of high-quality uw apparel for all ages, art supplies, and gifts. The bookstore staff are helpful and patient.”

“If you are a parent of a hockey player, you know you’ll do anything to get your child to a tournament. That might include driving four hours in a blizzard to make it to Madison.But when you arrive in the parking lot of Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena you feel relief. It feels like you’re home. Bob Suter’s is truly an oasis. It’s a professional looking arena for youth and adult players. They have multiple levels for seating and you can even rent out suites to watch a game.Like any good arena you’ll find the snack shop front and center. It wasn’t open at 7:30am which sucked but DCs Cafe is a winner. DCs café offers Latzaa Matzza pizza slices, brats, walking tacos, but unfortunately no cheese curds. However, this snack shop offers something called the Sondel Dawg. It’s a hotdog with taco seasoned beef and nacho cheese.Apparently, the Sondel Dawg is named after the Sondel family veterinary clinic. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a sandwich or a snack item sponsored by a company. It proves that Madison has a progressive business environment that allows sponsorship in the most creative fashion. However, I’m not sure the brand managers of Sondel notice the cognitive dissonance that occurs when associating a veterinary clinic with a hotdog. Just something to think about.Also I have to add that i am very sad the Sondel Dawg is only available after 11am. It’s a very popular snack item. Why not offer it for breakfast?Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. Supposedly you can watch their semi pro team and enjoy food and drinks at the Eagle’s Nest. But the game we bought tickets to was cancelled due to the blizzard. Despite these inconveniences you can tell there’s a lot of pride, love and enjoyment that is experienced here in Madtown’s Temple of Ice Hockey.Go Stallions!!!”

“Came here to find all the merch in the world. Like a previous reviewer, I also spent all the moneys in the here and I think I single-handedly kept this spot in business when I went. First of all, the selection of Badgers clothing was boundless and loved that for me because I was there to get just that. but alas did not lol. I got a Packers shirt for myself, a Badgers shot glass and whiskey glass, and a Bucks shirt (as a gift). I legitimately walked through that store 3 separate times because I just needed everything. Honestly wish I'd gotten more things but we had other places to go. Next time.”

“We make a stop at Bucky's Locker Room every time we visit Madison. I assume most locals know this but you can actually go out into the stadium about 15-20 feet near the field. It's gated but my kiddo loves being able to see "Bucky's House!" Cool tip for out of towners. Prices are expensive, nothing like a $30 shirt and $75 jacket but what do you expect. Maybe not the best place to buy economical fan gear but they do have a nice, quality selection! The clearance rack has served me well! Very clean spot to shop around or see the field. Customer service is always friendly. No doubt we will come back as we can!”

“I only stop by Dick's for specific items, so not a regular shopper. I had a hard time finding the area I was looking for as there aren't really labeled sections aside from outdoor and fitness. They had limited selection on some items if it isn't clothing, or sport items. Looked for swim mask (not goggles) and there were only 3 options, and you can't test them, which is important if you are to make sure it fits.”
“The people here are really nice. They have a good selection of shoes to, my mom and I have never had a problem with the people in here. So to all of the people that say worst shoes, worst customer service your just trying to get money or trying to make them mad and feel down about themselves and this world needs a lot less of that and in this world people are vomiting suicide-killing themselves because of people like you saying nasty things and do you really need to say nasty things about them.”

“Howard in Ag dept deserves special recognition for going above and beyond. We bought 3 chicks back in March and accidentally tossed the paperwork from hatchery, etc. that come to find out is needed for showing at the fair with 4H. Farm and fleet gets a ton of baby chicks in the spring so called thinking it was a long shot but Howard hunted down the paperwork and put a copy at front of store for us! THANK YOU, HOWARD! Such a nice guy.”
