CARE Animal Surgery Center

Dr. Bleakly was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The entire staff was so friendly, professional, and we trusted that our fur baby was in great hands. The surgery went great and our pup is now one week out and has recovered very well. I am so glad that we found CARE - highly recommend!

Dr. Aguilar actually took the time to come outside to take my dog for a brief walk to see how he was walking on his leg that was hurting him. He went above and beyond to get my dog calm enough to get him under control to sedate him just so we could muzzle him to be examed. I was so pleased and so thankful for the expertise and care that the whole team including the front end staff that I bought them all pizza. I would highly recommend this facility to all.

We did a 3 week board and train with Liz and have had incredible results. Not only did she do an amazing job training Ziggy, but was also a great educator during our one-on-one training sessions so that we can continue his training correctly at home. She was also great at communicating updates during the training, very personable, and always quick to respond to text messages. We can’t thank her enough for the peace of mind we’ve gotten with Ziggy’s training and are enrolling our other dog for a board and train, too.

The food was AMAZING and FRESH! It's the perfect bite to eat in this hot weather! We let them know it was our first visits and they listened to what we normally like and gave some suggestions that did not disappoint. After we got our food they checked in on us to make sure we were happy. They totally didn't have to but I appreciated it. Would 10/10 recommend this place!

Even when ordering online, they still maintain the same quality and excellent service. When I'm craving curry, this is the only place I order from. The Mango Chicken Curry (medium spice) is absolutely amazing -- perfectly flavored with just the right amount of heat. Highly recommended!

You can tell that Sam & Amy pour their hearts into their food - no one should go through life having to eat tasteless food and they are doing their part by keeping their community fed with delicious food and brightening their customer's day with their sincere hospitality.
We actually have reserved them to serve their burgers at our daughter's graduation in May and we can't wait to welcome them to our home!

18589 N 59th Ave Suite #111, GlendaleI've been wanting to try this place for a minute. First time. I'm not a fish person, but am learning to like it. I go in and order a 2pc cod Fish'n'Chips and a side of hush puppies. The order came pretty quickly, within 10 minutes or so. While waiting I saw a lot of offerings for people to grab on their own. Ketchup, mayo, heinz malt Vinegar, lots of options it was nice. I did overhear that they were running out of Okra and something else that night. But I can only suspect it's because they're busy. And they were. People were waiting on orders to go and a fair crowd was dining in despite the place closing in an hour or so.
Food: I loved it. I've been craving fish'n'chips since I had it in Miami, a year and half ago. I doused my Fish in fresh lemon and the provided Heinz Malt Vinegar. It was devine and crispy. As a not fish person I got to enjoy the entreé completely. The 'chips' felt pretty strandard as far as fries go. They reminded me or Jack in the Box, but with a little bit extra life. That's not a knock at all. Then the Hush Puppies, boy do I miss the days of Long John Silvers. Crispy and complimenting. It's good to have all these things available within a 10 minute drive.
My verdict is this place is absolutely worth trying. It's kitchy for sure, like a real life Krusty Krab, but delicious. I really want to get their in-house clam chowder in a bread bowl. They do seem busy and possibly understaffed, but what kitchen exists that doesn't seem hectic with hard working people behind the magic?
The overall buy-in is a little high for what seems like substitute quick fast sea food. But the overall quality and experience makes me want to return and try other menu options. Should I have chosen the Haddock?? Hmmm.

Foothills Dog Park
19055 N 57th Ave, GlendaleThis is one of my favorite dog parks that I've been to in the valley. It's a part of Foothills Park which has plenty of amenities. The park is best accessible by parking at the adjacent library. The dog park has agility equipment, water stations and some areas of man-made shade.
The worst part about dog parks is always the people. Often times their ignorance over animal behavior is down-right offensive. But, people here are reasonable and friendly. I have never ever seen any human behavior here that causes me to feel unsafe, be it around them or their dogs. I really recommend this dog park!
