“I have been a Lamps Plus customer on and off for many years.Earlier this year, we built a new home and needed a significant amount of lighting. I called the store and spoke with Amanda, who helped me right from the start. She provided the contractor letter that needed to be signed so we could receive the appropriate discount, which was extremely helpful and appreciated.
Over the next couple of months, Amanda worked closely with me as we selected lighting based on my preferences. I called her several times for input, and she was always patient, thoughtful, and responsive. She also kept me informed about upcoming sales on items I was interested in, which made a real difference.
Because this was a new build, timing was challenging. Some fixtures were ordered before our electrician could begin work, and once installation started, we realized a few of the items simply were not going to work. I called Amanda to ask about returning them, and she immediately said it would not be a problem.
I had planned to come to the store myself last week, but unfortunately, I had a bad fall. I called Amanda to explain and asked if my husband could come instead on Saturday. Since we live in Prescott, timing mattered, and she assured me it was no issue and that they would be there to help.
When my husband Scott arrived, he asked for Amanda, and the staff immediately recognized him by name and asked how I was doing then sent him over to Amanda.
He said Amanda was incredible—kind, attentive, and made the entire process seamless. Everything was handled efficiently and with genuine care.I understand that good customer service is part of retail, but the level of thoughtfulness, follow-through, and willingness to work with us throughout this process truly stood out. That does not always happen, and it meant a great deal to us.
Please know that Amanda and your entire staff were wonderful to work with, and we will absolutely continue to shop at Lamps Plus—both for your product selection and for how well we were treated.
