“I stopped by this Kroger after church with a simple errand in mind, and ended up having one of the most meaningful customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I spoke with a produce employee named Tara to ask a question about purchasing marked-down produce. Instead of giving a quick or dismissive answer, she took the time to check with her store manager and came back with a thoughtful solution. With their approval, she was able to offer access to discounted produce in a way that was both generous and handled with professionalism and care.
What stood out to me was not just the outcome, but how Tara handled the interaction—she listened, took initiative, and treated the situation with dignity and respect. That kind of responsiveness and humanity makes a real difference.
I also want to acknowledge the store manager for supporting an employee in making a compassionate, customer-centered decision. It reflects well on the leadership and culture of this location.

“Never been there before, went to find one specific product, Claude's Brisket Marinade, that I could not find anywhere else in Mena or Hot Springs. Not only did this huge, very clean store have what I needed, they had several varieties I had never heard of. The staff was very friendly.”

“This is my Kroger so everybody else stay away. Ha ha just kidding. Every time I go there I get excellent service from the help at the register or in the aisle or at the pharmacy. I’ve only been in Hot Springs for six years but for six years, I’ve been using this Kroger for everything. Check it out next time you are out for groceries. The people who work here are extremely helpful. All you have to do is ask.”
