“I lived at Alice House for 2 years and it was a wonderful experience. Anthony is super welcoming, responds to requests promptly, and truly makes every resident feel taken care of. The building itself is secure, clean, and amenities are well kept. The social events are a great way to meet your neighbors, too!”

“I’m a new resident and I’m already in love with Avalon Public Market. The property itself is simply gorgeous, from the beautiful lounges (there’s a rooftop lounge that you can overlook the bay from!) and the state-of-the-art gym, to the cute outdoor entertainment space and the pool, to the bright and carefully maintained apartments themselves. In addition, the surroundings feel quite safe and Emeryville itself is just a very cute place to walk around, with the Public Market being literally within five-minute walking distance from the apartment building. The building’s security system is quite impressive and I feel very safe with the controlled access through the gates, the double-gated garage, and the secure locker hub and locker room.As much as I love the building itself and what it offers, what made me immediately want to be a part of the Avalon Public Market community is definitely the people at the leasing office. It has been such a blessing to work with Martha, who has been so kind, supportive, responsive, patient, and just all-around amazing since Day 1. I was looking to move last minute and had a gazillion questions as I toured the apartment, but Martha was so sweet and patiently took the time to walk me through everything, which helped tremendously with all the anxiety I had had about the move. When I needed a couple things to be updated on my lease, she was fast with having a new lease created and gave assurance along the whole process. When I came to pick up the keys, Martha did not only show me around the apartment again and explain in details how I would access places, etc., but she also made sure that I was comfortable with using the keys and had fully learned how to access the building and my apartment before she went back to the office. Through all these interactions, I really have felt cared for by Martha and am even more excited about the prospect of becoming a resident here because of her kindness and support. It’s so apparent that she and the rest of the leasing team truly care about making the community feel like home for all the residents and are there to support whenever you need. Thank you so much for everything!”

“Lisa did such a wonderful job showing us available units. Her knowledge of the property was outstanding along with her representation of her home, Oakland, and the company, Windsor. She did so well that we filled out an application and have now signed a lease with Allegro. Great job Lisa!”

“My experience here at the Logan has been amazing!! Maithy and Raktim are so so kind and helpful. They were super accommodating when I had to change my lease start date a few times and went above and beyond to help me. My biggest thing about moving here was safety and they really helped reassure me that Temescal is a wonderful area to be in and they are not wrong! The Logan has the best management and staff :) thank you guys!!”

“We have lived at here for nearly 4 years and have seen this complex through numerous staffing changes. The one constant (and truly spectacular) staff member through it all has been Cesar. He is consistently so responsive, thorough, and professional. It's only once you've experienced less than satisfactory rental maintenance that you really, truly appreciate how lovely it is to never have to sweat something going wrong. The grounds are maintained well and for the most part the community is safe and clean- we are happy with the complex overall.”

He is consistently responsive and goes above and beyond to address any concerns or inquiries.Furthermore, I appreciate the friendly demeanor and thorough cleaning efforts of the cleaning lady. “I move. A lot. So, I've lived in my share of apartment buildings. 1200 Lakeshore is, by far, the best managed building I've lived in. Everyone who works here is the best. They know the residents and their pups. Mrs. Hudson misses her neighbor, Christiana and her daily ear rubs. Maintenance is fast and seamless. The management is top-notch. They have events and doughnuts for morning commuters every once in a while. The front security staff are friendly and professional and the building is super secure. Proximity to BART and living on Lake Merritt is amazing. The spaces are large and open. The residents are also fantastic. Say hi to Maya the bulldog if you move in. She loves some love. Now, not everything is always perfect. The building is amazing, as I said, but the noise is a thing. I'm a city person so the sounds of a city aren't new to me. The units facing 1st Avenue are NOISY. If this is something that doesn't bother you, then you're golden. If you're sensitive to that, opt for a higher floor on the lakeside. It's in Oakland. There is crime. Like all cities. Don't complain about it after moving in and then blame the building management. Due diligence on your part makes life better.Yes, I really lived here. No, I'm not paid nor friends with the management or ownership. It's just a great place.”

“As I am nearing the end of my two years at The Dwight, I feel that it's the perfect time to leave a review. I love The Dwight, and I cannot say that about the multiple other apartments I have lived in throughout the state. Not only is it a modern, beautiful, safe building, but the management is top tier. From the head of maintenance, Vanessa, who is one of the best humans I have ever met to Carly in the leasing office who is always available and happy to help me with any question I have; the people who work and live here are what make it feel like home. I feel extremely lucky to have found this place while living in Berkeley as everyone else who I speak to (that don't live at The Dwight) have some sort of complaint about their living situation. I have never had an issue here with noise, plumbing, electric, heating/AC, etc, and if I were, the wonderful management team would resolve it for me quickly. It's the perfect place to rent in Berkeley. I highly recommend that you explore The Dwight as your next place to live in the East Bay, it's absolutely worth it!”

“My wife and I recently were looking for an apartment in the Oakland area. We found the building manager, Heidi, to be accommodating, kind, and easy to work with in our process. Ultimately we chose to live in a different neighborhood that was more convenient for my commute to SF. However, we very much appreciated Heidi's responsive communication during our application process. Management was a bit more thorough than other buildings and we have high confidence this creates a strong sense of community in the property. We also got the sense that the building and residents are taken care of well by a management team. This isn't the case in all buildings from our research. In many ways, we were sad to not have moved in and if we decide to move closer to the lake in the future we wouldn't hesitate to choose this building.”

“After a month of living here, my initial doubts have turned into genuine appreciation. The staff, particularly Jennifer, has been exceptionally helpful and prompt in addressing my queries and concerns, even when immediate answers weren't available. Her ability to speak Spanish has been incredibly useful for me and my parents, especially when faced with questions that are challenging to translate. (Being in customer service myself, I can recognize her sincerity and dedication to her job). Asan, the maintenance guy, also goes above and beyond in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all tenants. One time, despite his day off, he swiftly resolved a gate issue and even assisted my dad with a sofa during the move-in process without hesitation. The apartment has been issue-free, quiet, and functional. The secure and welcoming environment, coupled with the helpful staff, truly sets Telegraph Arts apart. I'll keep you posted on further updates, but so far, it's been an impressive experience.”

“I was a tenant last year. The on-site managers were amazing. They responded to my emails quickly and tried to accommodate my needs asap. Also, they tried to make the place very cozy. They decorated the halls and kitchen for each major holiday. The only thing that sucks is that one of them is a Clippers fan.”
