“I had my first free trial class here a week ago and would highly recommend this studio if you are interested in trying out Pure Barre.
My first class was Pure Barre Align with Rachel and the 50 minute class went by quickly. It was not too difficult to keep up but still felt challenging at the same time. I went back for more classes and tried the Pure Barre Classic and other instructors (Greer, Paris & Maya). Both Classic & Align are great for beginners to just get a feel for the class and learn the movements. The studio is clean, the temperature is comfortable, and the instructors are welcoming and helpful. Overall, it has been a very positive experience.”

“The staff members were super-friendly and honest about the fit of my hoodie when I was last here a while back. I ended up getting a more slim-fitting one and it actually sort of keeps me motivated to exercise and keep trim (just so I can fit in it). I get compliments on it often.
The selection of products is nicely curated. You'll find things here that you won't easily find at other stores.
Every time I visit Oakland I try to poke my head into this shop to see what's in store (literally).”

“Ruby and Zinzee (sorry about the spelling!) are both so friendly and personable. I love this shop - jewelery and clothing. There are hijabs or head wraps, mugs, and journals, and if you'd like to try anything on, there are dressing rooms in the back. I purchased a beautiful, tall mug that was design by an artist in Sacramento. It's such a unique shop and I had no idea but they've been here for over 20 years, or was it 30? How rare is that? They're family owned, too. Come check it out! When I mentioned that the mug (beautiful women of color all around the mug) will be a gift, for a friend, they placed it in a pretty gift bag and put colored tissue paper in there! It's ready to gift to her now! Perfect. They get merchandise that come in, so come check them out once in a while. They have a sale rack in the back to the right. There are jeans, dresses, tops, purses, small backpacks, hats, etc. Go check them out!”

“I had an issue with a shoe size I bought in store. This place isn't for low income shooters, it is was not expensive than I might normally go for but I wanted solid strong shoes. I was able to get them replaced after 2 days. I'm disappointed that they tried to unplug my feedback after only 2 days and a request for exchange one”

“I found my qipao for my Tea Ceremony at Sasha's! The staff were friendly and patient with my sister and I as we tried on a large selection of their qipaos, which were all reasonably priced. I bought my qipao a year in advance and lost a bit of weight by my Tea Ceremony, but they were able to do a quick alteration and it fit like a glove. I wanted to lift the Phoenix design so it'd sit higher on my bust, but it was too complicated of an alteration and they warned the neckline might not sit as straight if they took everything apart. I appreciated their transparency, and the finished product still turned out great! Thanks for helping me feel like a princess on my special day!”

“Flew into town with no luggage not expecting a long stay luckily this Ross dress for less was not far. Considering the amount of mixed aged Clothing- I was still able to come up with something the location is super convenient next to the beauty supply that has all of the accessories that they don’t I might make traveling without luggage a thing now. “This may be the best place and price for alterations in the entire Bay Area.
I got pants altered for (I think it was) $7 or $8 here. Other places I called gave me a quote of $15+.
I also got a shirt with straps that were too long cut and shortened for me and it was only $5.
They helped me fix a jacket that was too big as well for $15. Really happy with the quality of the alterations too, it has held up even after many washes.”
