Pet Care

Santa Clara Pet Hospital
830 Kiely Blvd UNIT 107, Santa ClaraWe’ve gone through a lot of vets that felt slimy, just trying to profit off the love we have for our pets. Here, we feel like they genuinely love our our animals and ours are their only patients, and I feel at ease because I’m not constantly having to keep my defenses up from attempts to rack up an expensive vet bill. Would give 10 stars if it was an option.

A Pet Villa Dog Boarding and Grooming
1205 Laurelwood Rd, Santa ClaraThis place is a gem!! I feel so lucky to have found a pet villa. Our dog has anxiety and they handled Cali with such love, care, and dog competence. I am really grateful to have found this place. It is head and shoulders above the other dog hotels I've toured - they care about the dogs in a way that is so noticeable. and makes me feel calm and happy when our girl Cali, is there.

Bay Area K9 Association
1089 Memorex Dr, Santa ClaraI’ve been to several training sessions now with Steve now and he has been absolutely great. My staffy loves him and he is very patient. Both hands on and hands off. I checked reviews here prior to joining looking at the good and the bad. The take away of this, is that you have to be willing to put in the work yourself as well to see best improvements. Being structured and sticking to recommendations he gives will show progress. If you’re a lazy owner looking to just have a trainer do it all for you then you don’t understand the objective of training. This is not only to teach your dog, it is to teach the owner how to be the leader and use this training to your day to day. Any certified trainer can just show you tricks and how they would do things. You have to be the one at the end of the day to create that bond and spend time with your pet. Steve will show us methods for engagement and how to peak interest in several ways. Finding the niche that peaks your dog’s interest will be on you and your time spent knowing your dog. Within the last few sessions my pup has been excelling in her training and continues to show progress every session we have. As said before creating that bond and using the takeaway recommendations that Steve gives, you have to actually do it and put in the work. Your pup will only give you their attention as long as you give them yours. Thank you again Steve for being patient and walking us through Baileys journey. You are passionate about what you do and you love dogs to the max. It shows in your work during sessions and the time you spend even texting after sessions show you really care about the process.
Thanks from the whole fam.

Fun 4 Paws
2040 Main St #131, Santa ClaraAwesome. Carine is so great with the pooches. I worry that my bigger doodle can be overwhelming for someone but she clearly knows dogs big and small. He's so spoiled when he's at Carine's! I love that he also gets to play with her dog as well as others when he's in her care. Boarding him used to be the biggest stress for trip planning but knowing Carine will take care of him totally takes the stress away!

Restaurant Gish
1998 Homestead Rd Suite 113, Santa ClaraGish has been our go-to spot for over a year and every experience has been fantastic. The food is always high quality with incredible flavors and beautiful presentation. We love how the menu changes monthly, offering fresh and exciting dishes each time we visit.
The service is exceptional. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always attentive. Whether it’s a date night or a special family celebration, Gish creates the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.
One of the highlights is their special kids’ meal, which my children absolutely love. It's rare to find a restaurant that offers such high-quality options for little ones.
For what you get, the pricing is incredibly reasonable and the value is unmatched. Weekdays are easier to book, but weekends can be a bit more challenging, so I definitely recommend reserving ahead.
After over a year of dining here, we’ve never been disappointed. We can’t recommend Gish enough for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a welcoming setting!

Kenny's Cafe
2315 De La Cruz Blvd, Santa ClaraI was on this side of town picking up a Flamed Grooperstall from the artist known only as Q from his studio just a block away from Kenny's Café...What luck! I've heard a lot about Kenny's Café even up in Napa, and it's been on my list of places to go to for some time, and today I get to check it off my list! I got the Philly cheesesteak, and had him make it like a french dip, and it was Amazing!
5 ☆☆☆☆☆ and worthy of a two hour drive!

Taichi Pot Shabu Shabu
2640 Homestead Rd, Santa ClaraThis was my second time at Taichi Pot Shabu Shabu, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first! I went with the Ultra All You Can Eat option and chose the Tomato and Sukiyaki soup bases. It was absolutely worth it for the American Wagyu, Australian lamb shoulder, fish balls with roe, enoki mushrooms, and the huge variety of tofu, mushrooms, and veggies they offer. Everything came out super quick and fresh. The service was excellent. The servers were attentive and always came by immediately after I marked something on the ordering sheet. They constantly offered drink refills, cleared our empty dishes right away, and made sure our table had everything we needed. The restaurant itself is a bit smaller than some other AYCE hot pot spots, but it feels cozy and well-organized. I arrived right at opening time and was seated immediately, though I noticed they also accept reservations, which is nice if you're coming with a group. My friend and I definitely got our money's worth, especially after several rounds of the American Wagyu--it was so tender and flavorful. Toward the end of our meal, they even offered half orders of meat, which was perfect since we were starting to get full but still wanted a little more. Next time, I want to try their Tom Yum Tonkotsu or Signature Black Garlic Oil Creamy Tonkotsu soup bases. The tomato base was tasty, though I personally would have preferred it to be a bit more savory than sweet. Overall, Taichi Pot is definitely one of my go-to spots for all-you-can-eat shabu shabu. Great service, quality ingredients, and a really smooth dining experience--I'll be recommending this place to all my friends!

Crepes Bistro
57 Washington St, Santa ClaraSo the guy helping us said 85% of the menu can be veganized. He said the Royal crepe was amongst the most popular so we got that veganized and it was sooooo good! We also tried the lentil soup, the tofu scramble, and the quinoa power bowl. Everything was good but the crepe was the star and the quinoa power bowl was second. The chocolate chip cookie was gluten-free which made it a little dense I think - I’d probably skip that and get the coffee cake if I went back. Oh and the happy monkey smoothie was hella good! This place was a winner!
