Pet Care

Fairfax Veterinary Clinic
2084 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, FairfaxDr. Pipkin went above and beyond to thoroughly examine our new-to-us rescue dog outside of the clinic (for the safety of other canine patients, after we reported our girl had coughed several times over the past couple of days). Dr. Pipkin was warm, funny, and explained the what's and why's of everything. I enjoyed observing her positive interaction with our dog which included using stealthy petting to perform part of her exam. I did not get the Vet Tech's name that joined later, but she was fantastic, too. Thank you, both!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Amélie Café and Wine Bar
71 Broadway, FairfaxIt is my favorite restaurant in Marin. Mussels and burger are our regular items. Their quiche is amazing. We go there so often they know us now. The service is great. Everyone there is friendly. The food has been mostly consistently good.

Sorella Caffe
107 Bolinas Rd, FairfaxSuch a sweet, cozy spot. I feel like it’s the type of place where you can’t go wrong. Comfort food — tasty pasta & heaping servings — at its finest.
They’ve also got gluten free fusilli on the menu and I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly Al dente it was cooked! :)
Would absolutely recommend

Splitrock Tap & Wheel
2020 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, FairfaxBest bike shop in town...any town! Where else can you enjoy a delicious meal and a damn good while you wait for your bike to be repaired? Not to mention, reasonable prices, great service, quality products. Oh, and easy parking for any vehicle. I parked my massive RV because that is what I was driving when I discovered the flat tire on my ebike.

The Hummingbird
57 Broadway, FairfaxGreat restaurant with huge portions of high quality food served by a fun and attentive staff.
Kind of a funky New Orleans oriented experience, always worth a visit.
Apparently they're closing, so sad, they seem to be doing everything right.

Village Sake
19 Bolinas Rd, FairfaxSuffers from comparison and expectation. Objectively very good, but had been told how amazing it was and went having been to Samurai in Mill Valley two days prior and it was a notch below both. Four stars is probably harsh - worth a visit.

Mana Bowls Acai Cafe
1930 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, FairfaxHonestly, the best I’ve ever had!
The owner has been doing it for 12 years and there’s a reason why he’s still in business

The Coffee Roastery
4 Bolinas Rd, FairfaxWent on a Sunday morning and even though it was busy I got through the line quickly and my drink was ready in just a few minutes. I got a black and white mocha and thought it was very sweet but in a good way. It can feel a bit cramped inside but there is plenary of outdoor seating.
