142 Lomita Drive, Mill ValleyCat Clinic of Mill Valley is a walk-in clinic, especially for new clients. They seem to primarily serve the local community, with people coming in and out constantly, and I believe the veterinarian may be retiring soon.
That said, this is a very useful resource for anyone in the Bay Area who needs urgent cat care and is willing to make the drive, especially since there are not many cat care options left in the area.
Everyone who works there is very nice. It is also very busy, so I would recommend going as early as possible.

Alto Tiburon Veterinary Hospital: Powers Sarah DVM
25 N Knoll Rd A, Mill ValleyWe've been taking our pets to Alto Tiburon for the last couple of years, and have been happy with the sophisticated and sensitive care our dogs and cats have been given by all the veterinarians. Two years ago we had to put my favorite lab to sleep, and I agonized over the decision, given that he still wagged his tail and ate with enthusiasm, despite needing me to help him stand long enough to relieve himself. The vet told me her own rule of thumb for her pets was when the effort to do what made their lives happy exhausted them, it was time. Relieved, I realized our darling 12-year-old dog had reached that point, and I knew what was best for him. Then this week I had to take in our cat due to urinary problems. I was sure all he needed was an antibiotic, but Dr. Powers explained it was important to figure out first if the problem was bacterial, and that sometimes this behavior was not indicative of an infection. Good advice! Turned out it wasn't a urinary infection, but due to his having a high white blood cell count, he ended up needing the antibiotic. All of this took place over the New Year's holiday. Dr. Powers called me personally twice, and arranged to have someone come in New Year's Day to check the urine culture! After 40 years of pet ownership, and many veterinarians, I'm happy to say Alto Tiburon is an excellent choice for veterinary care.

Alto Tiburon Veterinary Hospital
1048 Redwood Highway Frontage Road, Mill ValleyWe’re really grateful to have such a great local vet at Alto Tiburon. They’ve taken amazing care of our dog, Wally, and have been so supportive of us as first time puppy parents.
We’ve had quite a few visits over the past year, and every time Dr. Dowell has been incredibly kind, reassuring, and knowledgeable. He takes the time to clearly explain possible causes and treatment options, which really helps put our minds at ease. We also appreciate how transparent they are about pricing and they’ve even waived fees a few times when we’ve come in for follow-ups, which speaks volumes about their care and integrity.
They’re great at squeezing us in for same-day appointments when something comes up, which has saved us from a lot of waiting and worrying.
All of the vet techs are fantastic as well. Wally can be a little squirmy and nervous at the vet, but they’re always so patient and gentle with him, which we really appreciate.

My 4-year-old son lost one of his favorite toys somewhere in the backyard and was on the verge of a full meltdown. Bella noticed what was going on, helped us look for it, and somehow managed to track it down. She absolutely saved our family dinner. It’s little things like that that make a place feel genuinely family-friendly. Thanks, Bella!

Good:
- Prompt service - our food came out quickly!
- The strawberry matcha oat latte was super tasty! Wasn't too sweet either
- The korean scramble was great! Huge portion sizes and the potato was freshly crisped
- Cute interior, but it's pretty small inside
Bad:
- The french toast special here is way too sweet it made me a bit nauseous at the end
- Pretty expensive, about $38pp for 2 entrees and a drink
Overall this was a solid brunch spot and super full by the end.

The loud buzzers with is a crazy choice. They’re constantly going off and disrupting an otherwise lovely atmosphere.
Coffee is solid.
Overall, it’s a good spot. Great if you’re gluten free.

Staff was efficient and friendly. It's a small space and was really busy when we went so it was pretty loud, but there were still places to sit inside and outside and we didn't have to wait long for our coffees. Would recommend if you're looking for good coffee in a modern, local place.

E Blithedale Ave 250 A, Mill ValleyLa Marais Bakery was an amazing experience. The space is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the pastry and food selection is incredible. The staff were genuinely friendly and interacted with regulars like family, which made the whole place feel special.
The cappuccino was one of the best I've had—perfectly balanced with just the right ratio of espresso to milk. We also tried three different croissants, and every one was excellent. I can't wait to come back!

I honestly expected a shitty meal on the road since it was a diner, but this place really surprised me. 106 Lomita Dr, Mill ValleyMill Valley Chickens is the perfect resource for backyard chickens. I have purchased flocks from Leslie on two separate occasions over the years. The most recent last August. A Miele de Fleur, Splash Laced Red Wyandotte, and two Araucanas. Leslie couldn't guarantee they were all females because they were so young at the time. They ended up being 4 healthy hens and are laying eggs daily. Leslie definitely knows her craft and has provided me with the best backyard buddies. I will definitely be back for more. Thanks Leslie!
