Irene (owner) is so passionate about making sure your cat has the best, non stressful experience possible. Tiana's thoughtful and effective approach made a significant difference in Arlo's training. She took the time to understand his unique personality and needs, which were key factors in Arlo's successful training journey.
The Service Dog program was particularly impressive. Tiana and Sierra provided comprehensive training that focused not only on obedience but also on the specific skills required for service work. Arlo is now well-prepared to assist my son in various situations, thanks to their expertise.
Overall, I highly recommend Alpha Dog and Tiana for anyone looking to train their dog. The care and dedication she shows to both the dogs and their owners are truly commendable. Thank you, Tiana, for working with us!

489 Miller Ave, Mill ValleyExcellent experience here with Dr Whitlock. My only regret is not coming sooner. She diagnosed my Labrador (osteochondritis of the hock) within minutes whereas other vets over multiple years had x-rayed the wrong areas and had suspected other diagnoses. While my dog’s condition is chronic, it is well managed under Dr Whitlock’s suggestions. She is calm, compassionate and patient, making you feel not rushed and comfortable to ask questions. While this care is expensive, I did find the comparable rates competitive for the area and never felt pressured to pay for anything. I am a o grateful to have such a wonderful vet practice in the area. Thank you!

Aggie Animal Dental Center
487 Miller Ave, Mill ValleyI can’t say enough good things about Dr. May and everyone at Aggie Animal Dental Center. My greyhound, Dax, managed to break three canines in five months, and their team performed vital pulp therapy on four of his teeth. Their skill and professionalism are truly impressive, and I fully trust their expertise.
One thing I really appreciate is how thorough they are. At the end of each visit, Dr. May personally goes over everything in detail, including Dax’s CT scan, and they even send me photos from his procedure. It’s such a thoughtful touch and really shows how much they care.
Having a dedicated anesthesiologist on site gives me tremendous peace of mind, especially with a dog like Dax who has had multiple procedures. I’ll absolutely be returning for his routine cleanings, and I’ll be recommending Aggie Animal Dental Center to all my friends and family.
The only minor downside is that they book up about a month in advance, but honestly, that just speaks to how good they are. Definitely worth the wait!

Unlike the other practices I have been to they do not push unnecessary testing or treatments and are pragmatic when assessing the situation. This may be due to the fact that they are a private practice and have not been bought out by private equity firms like so many other veterinary practices, so they are not under the same pressure to increase profits. I live in SF and happily drive across the bridge to take both of my dogs here, my only regret is that we did not know about them sooner. Highly recommend.

The Junction Beer Garden
226 Shoreline Hwy, Mill Valleystopped in here for an afternoon beer or two with friends before a hotel check-in. For some reason the bartender kept leaving the bar to go in the kitchen and had to have another front of house staff member go get him every time we wanted to order. All the staff was nice enough and tap selection was excellent and diverse. A cool spot with standard beer garden style tables and benches, a pirate ship playground, a nice interior with lots of seating also and lots of heaters for the cooler evenings. A solid spot to drink day or night.

The cappuccino was one of the best I've had—perfectly balanced with just the right ratio of espresso to milk. We also tried three different croissants, and every one was excellent. I can't wait to come back!

106 Lomita Dr, Mill ValleyMill Valley Chickens is the perfect resource for backyard chickens. I have purchased flocks from Leslie on two separate occasions over the years. The most recent last August. A Miele de Fleur, Splash Laced Red Wyandotte, and two Araucanas. Leslie couldn't guarantee they were all females because they were so young at the time. They ended up being 4 healthy hens and are laying eggs daily. Leslie definitely knows her craft and has provided me with the best backyard buddies. I will definitely be back for more. Thanks Leslie!
