You know those rare finds in the Bay Area where you walk in and somehow it doesn’t feel like the Bay Area at all? It feels like a little small-town business where people actually know you, care about you, and are just genuinely good people? That’s this place.
We would drive about 25 minutes to bring our fur baby here, even though we had plenty of grooming options around us, It never mattered. Every minute driving and every dollar spent here felt completely worth it.
They also saved our asses more than once by letting our dog hang out for a few extra hours when we were living in a tiny apartment and needed somewhere safe and comfortable for him to be.
PS: Did I mentioned that their grooming kicks ass?? Cornelius always came home looking ridiculously handsome, smelling amazing, the softest we ever felt, and, most importantly, genuinely happy after spending a few hours there playing.
We’ve since moved away, and this is genuinely one of the places we’re going to miss the most

1 Isabel St, RichmondPatient and capable staff! Can get busy on weekends so make sure you book in advance for baths. Nail trims are walk ins and they are absolute pros at doing it — even for my corgi who hates having his paws touched. I’m always amazed at their nail trimming skills, feels like they’re always able to trim down a bit more than other groomers I’ve gone to (some who can’t even deal with my stubborn corgi!). Prices are reasonable too! They’re our go to.

Ive learned a lot, and so has my 1 1/2 YR old chocolate lab. He is eager to attend class every Saturday, while he still has a lot of work ahead of him he enjoys learning.

Our group of 7 got together for an early dinner and chose Prajam because the location was super convenient—and we are so glad we did!
Everyone in our party was thrilled with the delicious food and the warm, friendly atmosphere. From start to finish, it was a fantastic dining experience for our group.
I definitely recommend Prajam to anyone looking for a great spot to eat. We are already planning our next visit!

Wish they were open on weekends, but understand why they are not.
Tip - they often have Columbia Employee Store passes available just near the entrance!
