1019 South Main Avenue, FallbrookHonestly I haven't left a review for food in a while, but this place absolutely earned it. From the nice staff, to the clean setting, and finally the food... All around this place nailed it.
The brisket melted in my mouth, with the only problem being that I wanted more. The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic, with adding BBQ sauce and slaw making it a too tier sandwich!
The Mac and cheese is very good and the cowboy beans, while simply done, tasted fantastic.
I personally thanked the chef as we left, and I guarantee you guys have earned a repeat customer.
I'm not sure where other good BBQ places are around San Diego, as I just got here a few weeks ago, but this spot... 10/10.

The atmosphere is incredible with indoor seating as well as outdoor patio seating with breathtaking views of trees and grass. The staff is attentive and very helpful. This is my go to place when friends and family come in to town. They are only open on Fridays and Saturdays for now. They also have a small cafe style location in downtown Fallbrook.

Asked for grilled onions on the side, got NO onions on either the sandwich or on the side. Added mayonnaise when asked to make it without. Asked for pickles didn’t get them. I mean, the list goes on and on. I don’t know if the person reading the online order is just not paying attention or just doesn’t understand the order. Either way- save your frustration and order at the window. The food is really good though. We love the steak sandwich with fries. Just wish they would accommodate our dietary restrictions.

When we went on 8/5 for lunch, we asked them to make our lunch lite on salt, and they did everything right. Cod fish and shrimp were so fresh.
Prices are very reasonable, $20-$30 for lunches.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
