I also had an incident where biscuit got car sick on the way to class and I had to give him a bath at the self service baths and he was freaking out and Alex jumped in to help workout hesitation. I was so appreciative of the help!!

Our pup had some big knots behind his ears from his brother licking, and they removed them no problem. He's a big dog who doesn't like his paws being touched, and even with those dilemmas they still finished at the time they said they would. Overall, a great experience and Toby has never looked better!

I don’t think they’ve ever been relieved. She’s a short hair, but he got a lot of hair off of her. She didn’t shed for four days. It’s a bit pricey. Over $100 just for the bath. I just considered like a vet visit because they do her nails and her glands and clean her really well. It’s worth it to her.

Salty Dog Boutique and Groomery
3095 State St suite d, CarlsbadThe Groomers we used to go to closed down last fall. So I found Salty Dog. Was a little hesitant because of the outside only interactions but other reviewers had good ratings. My little multipoo did not like the first groomer we took him too but liked the groomers that recently closed. So I was worried he may not like the new groomers.
Not to worry. We’ve been back 3 months now and he is a little anxious going in but is a happy guy when I pick him up. Casey and Megan do a great job making him look so handsome.
Price wise Salty Dog is about twice what the previous groomer charged. About 30% more than our other dogs groomers charge.

From the very first phone call I was impressed. They were friendly, transparent about pricing, and genuinely understanding. The entire experience, from the initial consult through surgery day and post-op care, has been seamless. Because this is their specialty, everything moves efficiently.. no unnecessary waiting or feeling like you’re just another appointment. The doctors and nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and always take the time to answer every question without ever making you feel rushed. We are so grateful we found SurgiPet. The only downside is the distance, but it is absolutely 100% worth the drive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone whose pet needs orthopedic care.
We are so happy our Gussy boy is on the mend and will soon be back to his normal self?

Nicole the nurse mentioned that my cat had some mats in her fur, then she worked on breaking them apart using her long nails. Then she got a comb and brush, then she shaved a couple. Very much appreciated.

However, these specialists do this full time, and nothing else. Typically a regular vet doesn’t have a dedicated dental arena with modern equipment and where everything is easily available if complications should occur. Nor is the focused experience and trained expertise comparable.
Soooo grateful to all the staff for their constant updates, concern and care throughout the surgery/ cleaning.

Dr. Fife was prompt in helping take care of our poodles-one which had to have emergency care. She is very knowledgeable and we are impressed with the great care she has given our 4 legged family members. The techs have been amazing each visit. The office is clean and in a great location. We signed up to use their petly plans and are happy with that service as well. Highly recommend if you have puppies!

After just 3 weeks of having our dog he managed to swallow a very large rock, began throwing up, and was very lethargic. We brought him in to see Dr. Hall who examined him, advised us of all our options, and helped us make a well informed decision in a very scary time. Dr. Hall prioritized the health of our dog, re-arranged her schedule, and rushed our pup into surgery so that we could have the best possible outcome. And with all of that she still gave us a detailed breakdown of cost and helped to make it as affordable as possible. If you're looking for a great vet who cares about the animals and their owners this is the place to go!

6955 El Camino Real B101, CarlsbadI’m super happy switching our dogs vet over to Banfield Pet Hospital in Carlsbad. I have the problem child dog that wants to nip at the vet. They are so wonderful and caring. They always let me hold him and comfort him during any checkup or procedure. Even though he still hates going, we always end up leaving happy & having a good experience. In our last visit we had a dental cleaning and they found bad teeth and did extractions. I felt like they were caring and honest, and everything was explained clearly before, during, and after his procedure. He’s doing great so far the day after and I know he’s going to be such a happy boy with his new clean teeth! I highly recommend this sweet team of people in caring for any pet.

1308 Oak Avenue, CarlsbadFinding Heather and Hot Dog on a Leash has been one of the best things we've done for Cora. She has been going to camp and training for the past few months, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the experience.
Cora absolutely loves going to camp Hot Dog! She gets excited every time we pull up, and I love knowing she's spending the day somewhere she feels safe, loved, and gets to have a great time. She's made great dog friends, and one of the biggest changes I've noticed is how much her confidence has grown. She's become more comfortable, more social, and is even starting to enjoy the water, which has been fun to watch.
I also appreciate the updates and pictures throughout the day. Seeing Cora happy and having a great time gives me peace of mind and always makes my day.
I'm incredibly grateful we found Hot Dog on a Leash, and I recommend Heather without hesitation to anyone looking for daycare, training, or a place where their dog will be genuinely cared for like family.

Prices are very reasonable (especially for Bressi Ranch). And the staff - Brady, Daniel, and Shay in particular - have always taken great care of me there.
This has become a regular weekly spot for me where I (just about every time) get a Santorini Bowl.

It's inside of an industrial area yet the ambiance was super cute and quaint and it's like you were in France. I ordered the chicken Mediterranean sandwich and when I tell you it was like an orchestra of deliciousness with every bite. Even though the bread was a little bit firmer than I personally would prefer it actually added to the deliciousness don't ask me how although I am super satisfied and the pricing was fantastic it's probably on the lower end given these days everything's much higher. I have to say one thing that each staff member look like they wanted to be there and they smiled and were very courteous and honestly the people running this place have a real gem that I think is definitely still hidden. These are the mom and pop places that we should all be visiting and supporting. Thank you very much for the delicious food and you will see me again!

The Summary: This is a homestyle restaurant serving from what can easily be called an all-inclusive menu of breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and complete dinners (senior specials @ $15.95) ranging from seafood to steaks and all points in between. And they have pies. The atmosphere is pleasant and the view is blue sky, honeysuckles, butterflies, & birds. Access is super-easy to fwy 5 w/ lots of parking. The Good: The aforementioned, generous portions, and very reasonable checks, I'd even go so far as to say a welcome relief from the post pandemic price gouging we're all victimized by. The portions are generous and the pies are delicious. The bad: Service is spotty. Serving can be tiring and at times downright challenging, no argument, but I didn't force you to take this job so don't complain about how tired you are, and remind the chef to put the egg on my Shrimp Louie salad next time. It matters. Hostessing is an opportunity to make guests feel welcomed, not like cattle in a holding pen when signing guests in. Try smiling...with hint of gratitude in your demeanor. If nothing else. It'll make You feel better. Overall. Village Kitchen is a comfortable place to relax snd enjoy s good meal.

I chose the Vegan (spinach, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms) and added sausage and eggs! Fantastic and perfect in every way!
Place is super clean, ladies are very nice and I will be back with husband and soon!!
