Since I have a large dog I didn't think the Poopy Carrier would be strong enough, but I was wrong, this little carrier is tough and worked out perfectly!! I love it!! And since I have a few leashes, I have found that I want a carrier for each leash too. I'm now giving them out as gifts to friends with dogs too!! Try it, you will love it.............

565 Grand Avenue Ste 101, San MarcosWe had two unpleasant experiences with two different veterinarians, on multiple occasions with each. We initially hoped it was simply bad luck and wanted to give each of them another chance. The thing is, our puppy was only a couple of months old, and at that point, we couldn’t afford to be quite so magnanimous.
Our friends referred us to Discovery, and from the moment we walked in, Dr. Young and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful. Finally, a veterinary office that didn’t make us wait forever, didn’t rush through the visit, and didn’t make us feel like the almighty dollar was leading the way.
We’re now scheduled for our second visit, and we’re really hoping this level of care and compassion continues. Even our puppy didn’t tremble when we walked through the door—which, honestly, says a lot!
Something tells me my next review is going to be 5 stars and then some!!!

She always remembers every detail about our dog and he's 14 now so he needs extra care. She is very good about making a program that we can work with and really wants to help our dog feel better. She has been excellent about being available, getting us in quickly, and making prescriptions available. All well being very empathetic, and you can tell she really cares about animals.

Seacoast Animal Health Center
727 W San Marcos Blvd UNIT 112, San MarcosOur cat took a sudden turn for the worse, and we knew that same day we had to say goodbye. My heart was already so heavy for my mom. She was losing her cat, and it had only been a few months since we lost our family dog too. It felt like too much all at once.
In the middle of that grief, I got on the phone trying to find somewhere, anywhere, that could help us in time. I called five vets. Two of them were so cold and dismissive to me, and it genuinely stunned me that anyone could treat a person that way during a moment like this. The other three just didn't have room. I remember sitting there feeling so lost, wondering how I was supposed to hold everything together for my mom when I couldn't even get someone to help us.
Then I found Seacoast. The receptionist who picked up changed everything. She was so gentle with me. She let me get the words out, she listened, she answered every question with so much patience, and she never once made me feel like a burden. After being brushed off twice already by the other vet clinics, her kindness hit me hard. I kept thanking her, over and over, because I didn't know how else to express what that meant to me in that moment.
When my parents brought our girl in later that day, the staff met them with the same tenderness. They were gentle, caring, and present with my parents during the hardest goodbye. In her final moments, our sweet girl was calm and peaceful, surrounded by her family and by the wonderful staff at Seacoast, who treated her with as much love as we did.
This clinic didn't just take care of our cat, they took care of us. They saw us as people who were hurting, not just another appointment. I will be forever grateful to Seacoast Animal Health Center for showing us so much compassion on one of the worst days of our lives.
Thank you, truly, from the bottom of our hearts.

Advanced Veterinary Care of San Elijo
1691 Melrose Drive, San MarcosWe cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Sacco and the team at Advanced Veterinary Care of San Elijo. Thankfully, due to their thoroughness and compassion, they were able to identify that our Labrador had grown a large mass (even though he was not showing signs), patiently guide us through how to decide next steps, and successfully remove the mass (saving his life!). Throughout all of it, they were so loving to Bert (and patient with my millions of questions). Our whole family is forever grateful to this entire team!! :)

I relocated to Vegas and came back 7 years later with my new pup as my others passed a while ago and the vet entire practice etc. are here still. I was so relieved and happy. If that doesn't speak volumes on how great the care for your furbaby is, customer service and operations are Im not sure what will :) coming back this many years later and still extremely satisfied. I called so many vets clinics hospitals you name it the prices were all very very high for the exam, blood panel and more as, therefore the things you want to get many items addressed or done you have to do slowly if on a budget. There prices are way more reasonable and more family minded in my opinion. Dr. Ichord and even the front office team explains everything out to where you don't ever feel rushed, you don't feel like you left missing anything and your dog/animal comes out happy. The appointment is worth the wait if you have to trust me. Riley will always come here :) thank you San Marcos Vet Clinic taking care of us always!

We also had two issues with our dog's eyes. In both cases we first sought treatment with our local veterinarian with no success. Dr. Banks was able to solve the problems, one of which had turned into a significant infection before we got to her. She is exceptional at what she does.

She was having so much fun at the meet and greet that they allowed her to stay and play with the other dogs. 1450 West Mission Road Ste D, San MarcosI recently visited Sorrento’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant in San Marcos, California! It was an interesting experience, but I had a good time overall. I was immediately struck by the old school vibe here. Very charming and homey, with equally impressive friendly, genuine service. Not sure if they were having AC issues but it was quite hot inside the restaurant. I had to have a glass of ice water with my red wine. There was also a distracting swarm of gnats around my table unfortunately. The pizza I ordered was delicious! Excellent crust, generous toppings, cheesy in all the right ways, and perfectly baked. Oddly, it was served with an actual full-sized spatula. I had never seen that before. I wound up not really using it for anything. This place is clearly steeped in rich history and tradition. I look forward to visiting again soon, although will probably bring a personal fan.

TERI Common Grounds Café & Coffee Bar
555 Deer Springs Road, San MarcosThis is a cute and quaint little place to go if you wanna get away from everything and have a wonderful breakfast served by wonderful people. Located on Deer Springs Road we got there going through Twin Oaks.
On Sundays, they got Bluegrass music band playing and then other days they have other people playing music and there’s an arena nearby on the grounds for concerts and what not. Let’s get back to the food. It was made with care and served with love and you couldn’t ask for anything more. Mom and I ate outside with a band was playing and the cool breeze came through. It was absolutely wonderful but netting overhead. I went inside of the counter ordered what I wanted once sat down outside with Mom and they brought us our food. Are you doing anything you just take it to a little sink right there and put your dishes there and they come and retrieve them. If you look up the Mission that this place is serving that it makes sense of why I will go back again and again. I will always support a good cause and he’s a good people who deserve our support.

Husband Loved the Biscoff Latte. It had the Biscoff flavor and the coffee flavor both coming through.
Overall very much recommend.

It’s busy because it’s good. The food was delicious and coffee good also. A lot of specialty drinks, and the food menu is robust. Hard to choose with so many good options. Overall, a great experience. We’ll be back!
