Every time I pick them up, they look gorgeous. Their cuts are beautiful, clean, and carefully done, and they come home looking polished and well cared for. Just as important, I can tell they receive a lot of love, patience, and consideration while they are there.
Lori has a genuine way with dogs. She treats them with kindness and makes the experience feel calm and pampering rather than rushed or impersonal. My poodles clearly enjoy being there, and I feel completely confident leaving them in her care. She is astute to point out any issues that they may have with skin or coat before I have even noticed and helps to remedy them.
I highly recommend Lori and Cali Pets to anyone looking for a groomer who is talented, thoughtful, and truly caring with animals.

We had taken our standard poodle to several other places and these guys were the best by far! She's super weird about her feet, so nails and legs are hard, several other groomers were not able to get them at all, these guys got them perfectly! She comes back smelling so good and so soft. I'll tell you Roxy is not easy! I have no idea how they pull it off. On top of it, I had emailed them asking for advice for in-between appointments and she called me within minutes and answered all my questions! These guys are great! Highly recommend.

They always ease my concerns and doesn’t do unnecessary things. I am always given the least expensive option and what can wait vs what might be needed. I honestly considered not moving because of this dr and vet staff but unfortunately I need to, but definitely considering any routine visit will entail a San Marcos Visit. Kona and I will very well miss coming here.

727 W San Marcos Blvd UNIT 112, San MarcosWe recently had surgery done for our dog Lucy at Seacoast Animal Hospital, and I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience.
Lucy had a lump removed that had grown very quickly, and from the very beginning Dr. Adams was incredibly thorough, honest, and compassionate. She took extra time to explain every possible outcome, both good and bad, if the lump came back cancerous, which we really appreciated. We never once felt rushed or left in the dark.
What really stood out to us was the level of care and attention they gave Lucy before surgery even began. Dr. Adams went above and beyond by consulting with colleagues and performing additional testing free of charge just to make sure she fully understood what she was dealing with before operating. That meant so much to our family.
Throughout the surgery, the team continuously texted us updates, which brought so much peace of mind during a stressful day. They also have a text line available for questions, and communication was always quick, kind, and helpful.
The entire staff was warm and friendly, the hospital was extremely clean, and both drop off and pick up were smooth and organized.
We are so grateful for the care Lucy received and would absolutely recommend Seacoast Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a veterinary team that truly cares about both their patients and the families behind them.

Initial exam what was going on with his foot. The first doctor did an exam and X-ray and referred us to 2 surgeons at another location in S.M.
Max had a surgical procedure and that exceptionally well. Brought him home yesterday. He is doing well. So far, I’m extremely pleased with Everyone and everything that has taken place in Max’s highest best interest.

I relocated to Vegas and came back 7 years later with my new pup as my others passed a while ago and the vet entire practice etc. are here still. I was so relieved and happy. If that doesn't speak volumes on how great the care for your furbaby is, customer service and operations are Im not sure what will :) coming back this many years later and still extremely satisfied. I called so many vets clinics hospitals you name it the prices were all very very high for the exam, blood panel and more as, therefore the things you want to get many items addressed or done you have to do slowly if on a budget. There prices are way more reasonable and more family minded in my opinion. Dr. Ichord and even the front office team explains everything out to where you don't ever feel rushed, you don't feel like you left missing anything and your dog/animal comes out happy. The appointment is worth the wait if you have to trust me. Riley will always come here :) thank you San Marcos Vet Clinic taking care of us always!

Twin Oaks Animal Hospital
310 S Twin Oaks Valley Rd #110, San MarcosI am posting another 5 star review for the amazing staff at Twin Oaks - and especially, Dr. Watanabe! My dog had what appeared to be a partial nasal obstruction and I was terrified that it was a malignant neoplasm (I work in oncology). Dr. Watanabe made time to see us and discussed all options including a nasal exam under sedation with potential biopsy and culture. She immediately called after his pre-anesthesia labs were resulted which showed an elevated neutrophil count (WBC, which indicates a potential infectious process present). We discussed further and decided to try a course of broad spectrum antibiotics before sedation. Seven days later and my soul dog is healthy as can be (pic from his follow up appointment)! Dr. Watanabe was patient, considerate and medically judicious in terms of our options and next steps! An amazing team of wonderful people - we’ll never go anywhere else! ??

705 Center Dr Unit 102, San MarcosUpdate: we visited again today, mid day. Super busy inside and out. Same lovely service and great coffees and pastry. I tried a flat white today, excellent! And a blueberry scone. I am serious when I say this was the best scone I have ever eaten. Moist, rich flavors, plump blueberries! And served warm with whipped cream and jam on the side. Amazing. (See photos!).
Our first visit to this cute comfy coffee house was absolutely perfect in every way! We were warmly greeted when we arrived (with eye contact), service was friendly fast and efficient, interesting and diverse pastry and food selections. Comfy couches and chairs with pillows, or lots of table options too. Funny coffee house sayings on the walls to get you smiling, and some cool art hanging too! (Thank you for supporting our local artists!?), plus small touches like plants and flowers add to relaxation and peaceful vibe. You feel welcome, relaxed, attended to and not rushed. The music selection is perfect too. Contemporary, but not annoying, right volume and feel for the place - you could definitely get work done or carry on a normal conversation. There were quite a few customers, yet voices were low and respectful of others.
We had pastries today (creme brûlée croissant and banana nut muffin). Both were delicious, moist, flavorful and not overly sweet.
And now the coffee! We had a latte and Americano. Both were excellent! Strong, complex flavors on the dark roast of the espresso balanced perfectly with the milk in the latte. Beautiful latte art to top it off. I seriously was reluctant to stir the design away.? Hubby said the Americano was “very good” (which is his highest praise). Food and drinks were brought to our table with care, we were check on to see if anything else was needed. And then finally, we were warmly thanked for coming in. Exceptional experience! Thank you. We will be back.

555 Deer Springs Rd, San MarcosMy first visit to TERI Common Grounds. I was immediately drawn to the cleanliness of the grounds. The natural beauty is astounding. We tried the Acai bowl and Avacado Toast along with regular coffee. Everything was fresh and tasty. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have more time to walk around the grounds a bit and look at the flowers and view the art pieces.

The food is amazing, I just drove there from Temecula for it. The service is always warm and welcoming. Delicious beer on tap or to go. Good music, good vibes. Fair prices.
