I’m out of food but remembered that they have the option of paying for same day delivery! $10 was worth being able to get the Solutions Raw Pork my girls are used to and love so much. I also got the Solutions GOAT Nog and their Pork Jiggles ❤️?? Not only do they have top quality brands but they sell them at the best prices. I drive from Oceanside to shop here because even with gas prices, it’s cheaper than buying the food at closer stores. On top of that, the store is soooo cute and the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. So happy I have a store like this by me. One of a kind gem ? ?

California Backyard Birds
1283 Encinitas Blvd, EncinitasTheir premium birdseed mix is really outstanding - it’s attracted so many more varied birds to my feeders. I get much prettier birds (goldfinches, scrub jays, and more) in my backyard than I did when I bought birdseed on Amazon. I think this is because their seed is so much fresher than what you get online. I can smell the fresh seed when I open the bag -something I never noticed with other seed mixes. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and have a great selection of feeders. I love supporting a locally owned business by shopping here, too.

You can of course buy Tigertail pet food products at local pet food stores, but many don't know the seemingly well-kept secret that the food is made right here and available at their store in Encinitas. Never mind the facebook Ads. for the "Farmers Dog" for expensive frozen food sent by mail. Tigertail can be bought fresh or frozen at a local Encinitas small business for a lot less money. ALL their food and treats are prepared in the kitchen on the premises, and there are several formulas for different needs or preferences for your dog OR you cat!!!

I really like the arrangement that they have that gives the dogs some rest time on their own and then also periods of supervised play time in open well maintained yards. It is also one of the few places that accepts and manages non-neutered/spade canines as well.

One observation I have had is that her staff has been the same for a long while and what that tells me is she is a great owner/boss and has found people that love dogs/cats as much as she does. I was accepted into their shop based on another long time customer who also owns a standard poodle, and I have been 150% satisfied. the grooming is great, but the love they have for animals is priceless. i highly recommend them.

260 N El Camino Real, EncinitasI am so grateful for the emergency pet clinic in Encinitas. I brought my cat in after he started throwing up repeatedly, and I was extremely worried. From the moment we arrived, the staff was compassionate, calm, and reassuring. They treated my cat with such care and took the time to explain everything clearly, which helped ease my anxiety during a very stressful situation.
The veterinarian (Dr Campbell) & vet techs were thorough, kind, and never made me feel rushed. You can truly tell they care about both pets and their owners. I’m incredibly thankful for the quick attention and professionalism we received. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs emergency care for their pet—you’ll be in excellent hands.

I included a photo of my kitty before going to the clinic (looking lethargic next to water bowl) and him immediately when we got home (so relieved).

195 N El Camino Real, EncinitasMy companion of 18 years was carried across the bridge on 8/8/2024 at 18 Dr VanWorth, Dr Kovac, and Dr Leslie had done their best in making clinical assessments on Coco at the time but for nearly 3 years in Heart disease MMVD stage B2 with severe regurgitation, Coco was always on borrowed time. On her last day X-rays showed her entire cavity filled with fluid and that was time. Coco refused to go down without a fight - her will to be loved and to live was strong but her ailing condition was inevitable Thanks for your care and the many times you work so hard to support slotting me in, even answering my calls before the office day started Bless all of you and families

We switched from a prior vet to come here as our prior vet misdiagnosed him, wasted a month on the wrong meds and cost us loads of time and money treating! So happy we came here and will continue to do so to keep my boy happy and healthy!

2159 San Elijo Ave, CardiffWe chose Cardiff Animal Hospital to do 2 TPLO surgeries on our husky, Luna. The surgeries were done 1 month apart. Their pricing is one of the lowest ones we could find. It includes all post op appointments, check up x ray, laser therapy.
We are very satisfied with our experience! The women who work there are compassionate, caring and eager to answer any questions you may have. From the signs saying “Welcome Luna” in the exam rooms, to vet techs sitting on the floor hanging out with Luna while talking to us, they really go above and beyond. I would even receive text messages a few days after appointments from the hospital checking in about how Luna is doing.
Thanks to them, she is having an amazing recovery and soon she will be back to herself and full activity.

He was so incredibly easy to work with and was very understanding when I had so many disruptions with my long term plans. He came through for Ollie and our family multiple times while we were waiting for her international pet screening. He sent me photos and updates so I didnt miss my baby. I absolutely adore how invested he is in the cats' well-being. There were specials for long-term stays and, yes, we absolutely appreciated it.

Encinitas Blvd, EncinitasI would highly recommend Zack and Yumi as cat sitters. During the past few years, they looked after my two kitties many times when I traveled. My cats have dietary and medical issues and Zack and Yumi were very responsive to their special needs. They kept me updated during my trips and sent photos of the cats every day. I would always come back home to two happy cats, a clean litter box, and a house free of the inevitable trails of litter, meaning they weren’t just careful with my pets but also respectful of my house. On one trip they also successfully took care of an invasion of ants that had found the cats’ food bowls. I recently moved out of the Encinitas area and I very much miss having them as pet sitters. I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I could.

He loves all the staff and play time and exercise w his doggy friends. If I take too long to walk him in from the parking lot, he impatiently wines and chews on his leash, as if he's going to free himself and run in on his own. :) Highly recommend and trust this team.

We visited Healthy Creations Café with a group of eight friends and had an absolutely wonderful brunch. We were meeting after many years, coming together in San Diego from different parts of the world, which made the occasion even more special.
The food was truly outstanding. Every single dish ordered by our group was thoroughly enjoyed, and everyone was completely satisfied. My compliments to the chef—the quality, freshness, and flavor of the organic food were exceptional.
The location was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient, and the seating arrangements were comfortable for our group. However, the real highlight was the food, which exceeded all expectations.
A special thanks to our friend Dr. Khaled Chaudhry for choosing this wonderful venue and bringing us together for such a memorable gathering.
Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning again.

I had all tonics on the menu, the Turkish eggs & the Spanish French toast. Absolutely yummy! I was super nervous to try the French toast so a super sweet couple sitting next to me shared some their French toast with me & I’m so glad they did. I’ll be coming back for sure for the French toast! I absolutely loved the ambience and customer service. I felt at home and I can’t say that for half of the restaurants in San Diego. Definitely a must visit! I highly recommend! I will definitely return!!
