Wine Snob*
969 Carquinez Ave, Glen EllenI can’t praise The Wine Snob* Winery/Tasting Room enough. Suffice it to say that I have lived in the wine country for 20 years, in Glen Ellen (that’s a lot of tasting wine in Sonoma & Napa counties).
The Wine Snob* is simply the best!
We are inbetween Wine Clubs (past have been Jacuzzi, Lasseter etc.) We are definitely signing up for Wine Snob* Club as well as the satellite Champagne Club called Wolves~Lovers & Theives. Ask Ryan or Lindsey what these 3 words mean. The owners are always serving the libations, and pride of ownership is evident.
Gentlemen, remember that diamonds and bubbles are a girls ‘best friend!’

Laurel Glen Vineyard
13750 Arnold Dr Suite #9, Glen EllenMy wife and I have been visiting and drinking Laurel Glen wines for years. Their Cabernet is absolutely fantastic. Likewise the tasting room space and experience, tucked in the tiny hamlet of Glen Ellen, is personal and relaxed, which tends to not be the case in many other tasting rooms in and around Napa. If you're a Cabernet drinker (or want to be), this is the right place.

Little Vineyards Family Winery
15188 Sonoma Hwy, Glen EllenWe loved our visit to Little Vineyards. This is such a quaint spot and the type of place we love to support. The wines here are fantastic and our host was generous with the pours. Come to Little Vineyards - you will not be disappointed. Its the opposite of the corporate wineries in the region and was the highlight of our day in Sonoma. We joined the wine club and continue to receive their amazing wines throughout the year. We get their Cabernet Rose and it reminds of the amazing afternoon we spent at Little Vineyards.

The Mill at Glen Ellen
14301 Arnold Dr Suite 32, Glen EllenWe had a great meal , we are vegan so you never know. Even if everyone seems to be on the same page with that sometimes things go wrong. But at the Mill every thing was perfect. The food, service and they recommended a great bottle of wine. They also had a few other favorites that they gave us tastings of. It was a quiet night at the restaurant and I noticed another couple come in for dinner, that gave some of the staff hugs. A local favorite! We have been on a road trip with our elderly dog for about 8 weeks. Nice to find a restaurant with a home like feel. And checkout the location, lots of history and a creek running through the area.

Passaggio Wines
In Jack London Village, 14301 Arnold Dr, Glen EllenPassaggio provided an absolutely perfect first-time wine tasting experience! As novices in the wine world, we appreciated the incredibly friendly staff, who also offered generous samples and made us feel totally comfortable.

Imagery Estate Winery
14335 Sonoma Hwy, Glen EllenHave been wine club member here for years (and sister winery, Benziger)! Love this place...Friends and I often hike at the nearby Regional Park, then come for tasting, picnic and to play some bocce. Always a great day! Servers are so friendly (Dory's a gem and so was Sandy, who has since retired)...Great variety of wine choices (and they are excellent) and snacks available if you need to buy some. On a pleasant day, weather-wise, sitting outside is lovely and most relaxing! On a colder day, the indoor fireplace is very inviting...

Garden Court Cafe

Glen Ellen Star
13648 Arnold Dr, Glen EllenMy family and I absolutely adore the Glen Ellen Star! Kudos to the team for always making the night so special! Sheila was our server, and what a wonderful night we had with her! We started with the clam dip and brussels sprouts. Let me say, get the clam dip, and thank me later. For a main I had the Lumache dish, and the meyer lemon sauce just tied all of the components together beautifully. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, I could eat that every night! My mom got the TCP, a crowd favorite and my dad the steak. For dessert we couldn’t pass up the coffee cake, infact my dad and i refused to split it and got one each. Save room for the coffee cake, again, you don’t want to miss it. Always a quality meal and time at the Star, we will be back!

Benziger Family Winery
1883 London Ranch Rd, Glen EllenNovember 9, 2025 - Glen Ellen, CA. We sought out this winery after being served a wonderful Benziger Chardonnay in La Conner, Washington. We liked it so much that we knew we had to visit Benziger the next time we were in Glen Ellen. Our visit to Benziger was very pleasant. The grounds are beautiful, and they offer several different tasting experiences. We didn't have reservations, so we opted for the main tasting room. We had our pup with us and were happy to see that dogs are welcome there. When we first walked in, the bar area to the right was 3-4 people deep, so pretty crowded. The section to the left had two staff members, with no customers, but even after a few friendly eye contacts, no one waved us over. I finally walked up to ask if dogs were allowed (they are--yay!) and if we should wait in the other line. After a bit of discussion, they said they could handle our tasting there, which worked out perfectly. Once we got started, the tasting was great. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared a little about their wines. The wines were delicious, and the whole place had a warm, relaxed vibe. Our pup even got a few smiles and pets from staff and other guests. The chardonnay we had in La Conner (Running Wild) was not on the tasting menu, but we bought 2 bottles anyway hoping that it was as good as we remembered. We also bought a bottle of the rose. All in all, great experience--good wine, friendly staff, and dog-friendly too.
