The Kitchen at Priest Ranch
6488 Washington St, YountvilleWe decided to stop for lunch in downtown Yountville. We ordered two cheeseburgers (my husband's burger was a double), fries to share and two drinks. The food was fresh and delicious. But we were sticker shocked by the price. It ended up being $70! The staff were also not very friendly. The atmosphere was small and cozy (best suited for 1-2 people). Overall it was a fun afternoon but probably would only go on special occasions as tbe price point is high.

Hestan Vineyards
6548 Washington St, YountvillePaul and team were so fantastic and knowledgeable on all the wines. Our personal favorite was the Vincent Christopher, such an amazing Pinot (the Stephanie seemed to be the favorite, but the VC definitely under appreciated!!). Also doesn’t hurt to shop the crazy amazing cookware at the tasting room as well?? Right in the middle of Yountville. Must go no reservation fuss!!

Mini Model
6523 Washington St, YountvilleCute little bakery, a spin off of Model Bakery in Napa. Coffee was good; veggie wrap was heavy on the egg, but decent. Relatively fast service and no line, at least early on a Monday morning. Limited outdoor seating.

Bouchon Bistro
6534 Washington St, YountvilleOverall, I’d give this restaurant 4.5 out of 5 stars. Our waiter and the atmosphere were fantastic. Service was spectacular. To start, we ordered the beef tartare and French onion soup which were divine. The mashed potatoes were delicious with a fabulous texture. The salmon and gnocchi were executed well but the flavors were a bit underwhelming. I’d skip on those and order a steak.

The Restaurant at North Block
6757 Washington St, YountvilleThe service at North Block was excellent. Our waiter was fantastic, and the rest of the staff was equally attentive and professional. The atmosphere was also top-tier, beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what you’d expect from a Yountville dining experience. No complaints whatsoever on the service or ambiance.
Where the restaurant fell a bit short for me was the food. For the price point, I was expecting at least one dish that would make me want to come back specifically for it, but I didn’t find that here. The food was good overall, just not particularly memorable.
The lobster risotto was enjoyable, though it was a little too salty for my taste and could benefit from a more subtle balance of flavors. The octopus and scallops were both well-prepared and tasty, but neither really delivered the “wow” factor I was hoping for given the cost.
Overall, North Block offers outstanding service and a great atmosphere, but the food, while good, didn’t quite justify the premium price point for me.

RH Restaurant at RH Yountville
6725 Washington St, YountvilleOne detail really caught my attention.
After finishing their meals, many people didn’t leave right away. Instead, they grabbed a cup of wine and wandered through the gallery, taking their time. No one seemed to be in a hurry, and nothing felt staged. It all happened naturally.
I think that’s what makes RH different from so many other restaurants. It’s not just a place to eat—it’s a space where dining, design, and everyday living come together. I’ve visited RH locations in different cities, and while each one reflects its own surroundings, they all share the same understated elegance that makes the brand so recognizable.
At the Napa location, I especially appreciated the simplicity of the menu. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were clean, and the dishes let the quality of the food speak for itself instead of relying on heavy seasoning or unnecessary complexity. The service was equally thoughtful—attentive without feeling intrusive.
If I could suggest one thing, it would be to feature more seasonal ingredients from Napa’s local farms. It would be a wonderful way to connect the menu even more closely to the region.
By the time I left, I realized what stayed with me wasn’t just the meal. It was the pace of the experience. RH has a way of reminding you that a great restaurant isn’t only about what you eat—it’s also about how it makes you feel while you’re there.

Chandon
1 California Dr, YountvilleWe are currently wrapping up our visit to Chandon, and I just had to leave a review right away because our tasting guide, Alex, made this visit absolutely unforgettable.
From the second we sat down, Alex’s passion for Chandon and the art of sparkling wine was incredibly contagious. He didn’t just pour the wine; he brought the history and the craft to life. His knowledge is top-tier, he answered all of our questions with so much ease and engaging detail, but it never felt like a scripted lecture. It just felt like sharing amazing wine with a true expert who genuinely loves what he does.
If you are planning a visit to Chandon, do yourself a huge favor and see if you can get on Alex’s schedule. He made an already beautiful property and excellent tasting an absolute highlight of our trip. Thank you, Alex, for a fantastic afternoon!
