Our host gave us information on not only the terroir, but also on the winemakers and why the wines had been selected for the Yount Room. Overall excellent experience.

He answered all of our questions with ease and showcased the perfect variety of wines. He was very accommodating to allergies and our scheduling needs. Thank you Francisco!

The Kitchen at Priest Ranch
6488 Washington St, YountvilleWe decided to stop for lunch in downtown Yountville. We ordered two cheeseburgers (my husband's burger was a double), fries to share and two drinks. The food was fresh and delicious. But we were sticker shocked by the price. It ended up being $70! The staff were also not very friendly. The atmosphere was small and cozy (best suited for 1-2 people). Overall it was a fun afternoon but probably would only go on special occasions as tbe price point is high.

The atmosphere for the tasting was sitting outside at a table with just our party and felt very personal and friendly. The wine wasn’t our taste, and this was one of only a couple wineries we did not make a purchase, but the experience was still super pleasant.

6534 Washington St, YountvilleOverall, I’d give this restaurant 4.5 out of 5 stars. Our waiter and the atmosphere were fantastic. Service was spectacular. To start, we ordered the beef tartare and French onion soup which were divine. The mashed potatoes were delicious with a fabulous texture. The salmon and gnocchi were executed well but the flavors were a bit underwhelming. I’d skip on those and order a steak.

The Restaurant at North Block
6757 Washington St, YountvilleThe service at North Block was excellent. Our waiter was fantastic, and the rest of the staff was equally attentive and professional. The atmosphere was also top-tier, beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what you’d expect from a Yountville dining experience. No complaints whatsoever on the service or ambiance.
Where the restaurant fell a bit short for me was the food. For the price point, I was expecting at least one dish that would make me want to come back specifically for it, but I didn’t find that here. The food was good overall, just not particularly memorable.
The lobster risotto was enjoyable, though it was a little too salty for my taste and could benefit from a more subtle balance of flavors. The octopus and scallops were both well-prepared and tasty, but neither really delivered the “wow” factor I was hoping for given the cost.
Overall, North Block offers outstanding service and a great atmosphere, but the food, while good, didn’t quite justify the premium price point for me.

1 California Dr, YountvilleIf you’re thinking about visiting Napa, this is the place you’ve been looking for. We went with a group of 11 and, despite a mix up with the reservation, the manager Owen and our server Jesus were above and beyond accommodating. Our group was set up with a lovely table in the shade on their beautiful patio, and proceeded to drink some of the most delicious - and unique - wines in the area. The bottled spritzes were so refreshing and the crab pasta…well, let’s just say we asked multiple times for additional orders. The vibes are incredible, the location stunning, the staff kind, and the wine delectable. If you come to Napa and you don’t come here, you’re making the biggest mistake of your life.
