“It's rare I give 5 stars to ANYTHING, but this shop will get my rare PERFECT rating. Treated like a human being: CHECK. Courteous service, eye contact, distancing? CHECK. For a guy like me used to barely disguised disparagement, microaggressions and macroaggressions, and even blatant defamation from those tasked with assisting me, NONE OF THAT HAPPENED on this recent visit. This has been an extraordinary experience. The young man INSISTED on taping up my torn up box. I have to admit, it was next-level and not what I was expecting. “I went to this olde-towne shop because the owner offered to mail something for me and sign her name on a legal document saying she did. I offered her more money than she asked for as I didn't really need much, just her help. She kindly refused. It's not often you find a genuinely kind and compassionate person who gives without taking. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go back. “Ive lived near the Post Office forever! This place has the same friendly faces year after year and thats what makes it feel like a small town vibe! They're always stocked full of boxes and packing envelopes. Fast service and even a small bell for faster service!(lol) This Post Office also has a huge historical importance to Penryn. The Griffith Quarry up the street was mined for its quarry that helped build this Post Office back in the 19th century. Even has Masonic symbols and great history written on the drinking fountain outside!”

I called and spoke to Rachel S. and she went through every package order on the day we sent it to find a tracking # for us. I explained the urgency to her and what might happen if it was lost. He accommodated my request, even though I chose to ship it through my work for a discount. Of course, he charged for the custom box and packing materials, but it was quite reasonable. “I have been coming back here, as the response to my previous view encouraged me to do. I haven't had another poor experience since. Staff has been friendly, and helpful.In particular, a recent experience made me remember I need to update my review. I handed in 2 same-sized boxes for shipment (labels already applied), and the person taking the parcels closely examined the labels (which I did not, even though I was the one who applied them!). Somehow, my husband managed to print two copies of the same label, and if not for this staff person's diligence, I'd have had made a huge mistake. So, moral of the story: Don't give up after one bad experience, you may never know the good things you'll be missing!”
