The Pet Nat was such a surprise and a great way to start a tasting. Every single wine was better than the last. Brought a bottle of Estate Syrah home and will be sharing it with friends. The owners have created an atmosphere that is open and inviting. You can expect good music (there's always some vinyl spinning), good conversation, and a great selection of beer, wine, cider, seltzer, and even non-alcoholic options. It's a great spot to catch the game.
While there are some pre-packaged snacks available for purchase there is no kitchen so outside food is welcome. Seating includes bar seating, high tops, and covered outdoor seating.
I highly recommend giving this spot a try!

404 Front St, Avila BeachOur first time here, at first we were a little confused as we were debating going here or custom house only to find out they operate together. Clam chowder was amazing. The bloody mary and beachfront drinks were amazing. We love it so much we went back two days later and listened to live music. Lots of pigeons outside but the don't really mess with you. Friday nights during this time of year, farmers market and live music right outside the restaurant. A great gauge for a good place is will you be back, we will definately be back.

Mulligan's Restaurant
6460 Ana Bay Rd, Avila BeachStopped by Mulligans at Avila Beach Golf Resort and had a great experience. It was nice and quiet, the food was really good, and the staff was super friendly and inviting.
It’s kind of tucked away at the end of the beach walk, we actually thought it was just a wedding venue at first, which they do host as well, but it turns out it’s the golf clubhouse. Really welcoming spot with genuinely good people who take care of you.
We’ll definitely be back, next time to play the course right by the ocean.

However, she also likes krakens lore so we went here hoping for some cool kraken merch and there was cool things but expensive. We did order drinks and a breakfast burrito all was decent.

460 Front St, Avila BeachAbsolutely gorgeous little restaurant, with outdoor seating right on the beach, near the boardwalk. Charming, southern France kind of vibe. An excellent and very French menu with nice twists on the classics. French Onion Soup is amazing and l'escargot with secretly added Gorgonzola was a special treat. Nice staff, friendly servers. Excellent place for lunch.
