The experience here definitely made my dogs tail wag for his birthday.I called the morning before my puppy's first birthday inquiring on a cake or dog birthday treats, and I came in after work and the delivery of cakes came in- perfect timing.The lady who helped me greeted me immediately and asked if I needed any help. I told her I was shopping for my dog's birthday and she remembered me from the phone.She was super friendly and let me browse through all the cakes till i found what I wanted. I then took a browse throughout the store for gifts. The store is small, but organized. Upon checking out, she mentioned that she would put together a birthday bag for my dog, and the gentleman working there put it together. I was stunned with all the goodies they gave me. Toys and treats to add to my puppy's birthday, as well as a coupon for future purchases.My pup will be so happy, and they made me happy that I could give so much for my puppy's first birthday.DEFINITELY recommend coming here. The staff are helpful and kind.

State of Mind Public House and Pizzeria
101 Plaza N, Los AltosI visited State of Mind Public House for pizza before heading to the 49er game. Great place to hangout and watch football. We had a Pepperoni pizza and a Barebottle Brewing Hazy IPA. Delicious. The Pizza was cooked just right. Thin, but able to fold and eat perfectly without losing any toppings. Crust was light and didnt make me feel bad later. The servers were fantastic, and couldn't wait to refill our drinks! GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Sweet Shop
994 Los Altos Ave, Los AltosThe curb appeal is adorable. It reminds me of the cottage from Hansel and Gretel. Interesting because it’s in a residential neighborhood. I ordered a cappuccino and it was okay. Unfortunately, my kids felt the candy selection was pretty slim for a sweet shop. As a mother, I was kind of glad that they didn’t have a huge variety of sweets.

351 Main St, Los AltosI frequent Los Altos Tasting room regularly. It is a nice, relaxing place to go to after a hard day at work. The wine is excellent, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable especially Theo and Vince. Many times the owner, Benny, is there and will give you his insight on the different wines he is producing. I highly recommend this establishment.

266 Main St, Los AltosAnother amazing experience here at El Comal. We're usually enjoying our food too much to stop and take pictures but this review is long overdue. Coming from Mexican & Afro-Latin families that COOK, my partner and I are rarely impressed enough to write one. However, the ambiance, quality of service AND food at El Comal are worth the visit! Tacos, sopes, soups, birria all delicious. Tortillas are handmade fresh when ordered and their menudo & posole are about as authentic as you can get. The staff is phenomenal and responsive, even when they're super busy. The menu changes to reflect what they have fresh/on hand which is commendable & more sustainable [wish more places did this]. The only downsides are chips n salsa are extra (understandable with the cost of things right now), they don't always have hominy or cabbage on hand for the menudo/posole, no dessert options without wheat/GF. Still, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
