Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Café Mia Brew Bar & Bistro
250 Reservation Rd, MarinaIf you are in the Marina, CA area looking for a delicious breakfast, brunch, or lunch, do not pass go … do not collect $200 (well, unless someone’s offering it to you no strings attached) … and go straight to Café Mia!
Located in an unassuming strip mall, this little gem offers some of the tastiest breakfast dishes, quiches, sandwiches, baked goods, and morning drinks, you’ll find anywhere. Plus, a very friendly staff, and the owner (Horace) is such a great guy. If you’re lucky, you’ll be there at just the right time to hear him masterfully blast out some calls on his genuine Ram’s horn Shofar.
But, it’s definitely the food that will have you hooked on this place. I’ve been there three times with the Cavegirls and have yet to be even slightly disappointed. The lox plate (not pictured, unfortunately) was loaded with fish and features a fresh bagel, tomato and onion slices,, capers, and deli-style cream cheese. The Egg Volcano is a unique and scrumptious take on the traditional omelette; stuffed with spinach, cheese, peppers, onion, choice of meat (I went with sausage), topped with sour cream, salsa, and avocado.
The Breakfast Panini is packed with eggs, cheese, and breakfast meat on a fresh buttery croissant panini-style. The Veggie Quiche is like a mouthwatering eggy-cheesy-veggie-filled personal-size pie. The Caprese Panini is a tasty toasty “saladwich”. While the Cubano Panini is one of the best versions of a Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had with homemade juicy and savory pulled pork, Black Forest ham, swiss cheese, sliced pickles, and a Dijon mustard and mayo spread. They also offer a wide variety of amazing baked goods.
Oh, did I mention that their prices are completely reasonable? ??♂️ No matter what you choose, you can’t go wrong at this local hang.

Keoki's Hawaiian Barbeque Carry-Out
3170 Vista Del Camino Cir, MarinaLove it here!!! My friend and I recently visited, and we were stuffed. The gentleman working here was really sweet and extremely attentive. I ordered the macaroni salad, fried rice, and my friend ordered the Loco Moco, which he always loves. Definitely swing by and check out their weekly specials! We also ordered a piña colada slush with grenadine, and the refreshing drink balanced perfectly with the savory flavors of the meal.

English Ales Brewery
223 Reindollar Ave # A, MarinaService is super friendly here, parking is easy with the lot, beer is delicious, food is hearty and greasy pub deliciousness, and the mugs hanging from the ceiling are a whole vibe. This place has old fashioned pub down, and it is super kid friendly despite not having a kid's menu. If you're looking for stuffy and uptight, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for small town friendly vibes definitely come here. The tuna melt is amazing, fries are super thick, and burger is huge (but a little heavy on bread). They recently changed ownership but kept on staff. The new owners are fantastic and they support local schools which is a huge plus for me. We've been here a few times now and plan to keep coming back! You can even get on the mug wait list.

The Otter's Den
3166 Vista Del Camino Cir, MarinaGreat service, but the pool tables need a lot of work. I don't think those Valley tables have been reconditioned in 10 years. The felt is slow, and the balsl roll off.

Ho Wah Chinese Restaurant
3116 Del Monte Blvd, MarinaAs someone who formerly worked in a Chinese restaurant this restaurant had a lot of tasty dishes! We tried the walnut shrimp, salt and pepper squid (really crispy dough) and pan-fried Hong Kong chow mein (not commonly found in many restaurants so this was a nice surprise). Portion sizes were generous and flavor was good too. Would definitely recommend!

Nak Won Korean BBQ Restaurant
330-a Reservation Rd, MarinaWe went for lunch. The service was excellent although we got there right when they opened. It was not crowded. The dining room is sparse. I am not sure you come here for the ambience. But you would come for food. I am not an expert on Korean food by any means but both our meals were very good. I had the Tofu box and enjoyed it immensely. My friend got the dinner bim bap because she wanted the sides. I am glad she did as they were tasty. I would go back.

Noodle Bar
215 Reservation Rd, MarinaLocated in a large plaza with a Grocery Outlet and Dollar Tree, there's plenty of parking to be had. We came on Sunday around 11:30am, and there was even a small farmers market on the corner of the lot. The restaurant is tucked away in the far right corner, you have to walk past Grocery Outlet and Dollar Tree into a small alleyway/inlet and you'll see it on the back right. Seated immediately, we were handed menus and water quickly. My 4 year old wanted chow mein, but also wanted fried rice. I wanted neither of those options, and since we were on a mini Mommy & Me getaway trip, we couldn't bring back leftovers. So here I am, not sure how I was going to balance out what he wanted vs. sucking it up and eating what he wanted. Then I noticed that every entree came with the choice of white rice or fried rice (no added charge), and you can add extras like chow mein for $3. No way?! A mom's dream come true because then I could treat myself to a traditional pho, score! When my son's plate came, it was a heaping mountain of food. It was wild. It was clear we were in no way able to finish it between the two of us, let alone just him. And we had ordered a regular size (how huge is a large portion?!?! I need to know). While the sweet and sour chicken was a bit on the tougher drier side, the flavor was excellent and definitely added a lot of umami to his noodles and rice below. My pho definitely hit the spot and this makes for a very happy mama. You pay at the cash register in the back, and we were basically in and out within 30 min. My son ate almost all the noodles and a decent amount of rice and chicken, and if you're a mom of a young kid, you will understand how much joy and relief that brings. What a lovely hidden treat on this trip!

Marina Poke House
266 Reservation Rd, MarinaVery good. Everytime i go there very friendly and fast. Quality food is top tier. I do feel the space probably needs a new set of decorations the colors in the building is a little off putting but that's just a personal preference. 10/10

Salt Wood Kitchen and Oysterette
3295 Dunes Dr, MarinaOur waiter and the food (Thanksgiving buffet) was great but we were sitting at a table by the bar and could hear that the bartender was not happy about making a drink from their menu for us, She loudly expressed that she doesn't want to make the drink because she has to prepare it a certain way and that "they should just order another drink". Other than that the food and service was great
