Pet Food Express
631 Broadway, MillbraeGreat dog washing station with good water pressure, and plenty of treats and towels. However there are only 4 stations so if it’s a busy day you might have to wait. Also make sure to get extra soap since it doesn’t really come out with the water when washing.

Pet Care

Millbrae Pet Hospital
128 Park Pl, MillbraeJoe and Jenny are very understanding of my dog’s extreme anxiety around nail trims. They talked to me about my options and gave supportive suggestions as well as listening to my suggestions. I can tell they care a lot about my pup despite how uniquely difficult she can be. Their level of experience gives me hope for Cricket.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Leonardo's Deli Cafe
540 Broadway, MillbraeYou can tell Gary has a passion for food. I’ve never disappointed when I have lunch. Everything is homemade and it has really great flavor. Leonardo‘s is one of the best deli on the Peninsula. I highly recommend the jersey shore sandwich, and of course, the soup of the day.

Modern Eats
414 Broadway, MillbraeA pleasant surprise! Customer service was great, the hostess was friendly and attentive. I came in with my 8 year old so we kept it simple and ordered a pizza. We were served a small order of fresh fries while waiting for our order. The pizza came with a thin crisp crust topped with fresh ingredients . The dining area was clean, service was fast and we watched the playoff games while dining. I highly recommended if you're in the area

Hubei Restaurant
1055 El Camino Real, MillbraeFantastic food with warm service provided by the charming owner herself. The menu is extensive and includes staples of Hubei province. Each dish, especially the fish and prawns, got seals of approval from a Human native who accompanied me there.

One Piece Sushi
108 Park Pl, MillbraeThis unassuming little place was the third place we tried to eat at after 10:30. The first was a bar, the second only served hookah for the last couple of hours, and this one, finally, had food--though please be aware that at this time of night, it is udon, not sushi. That said, the two people we interacted with were both friendly and efficient, the Karaage and udon were tasty and nourishing, and at great prices for the Bay Area, and although they don't lean hard into the theme, there is some cool One Piece art on the walls. Thank you! Just what we needed!!

Sidewalk Juice Millbrae
525 Broadway, MillbraeI've only been here once, and my experience was a pleasant one. The young worker was very welcoming and kind, and had great suggestions as I asked what they liked or recommended. The ambiance was chill, one or two parties waiting for their food/drink before me. There was music playing but not too loudly. The space was bright and clean. The juice I ordered was light and fresh, and not overly sweet. Good alternative to sweet treats around the area.

Milli Cafe
299 Broadway, MillbraeI can't believe this is the ONLY non-chain coffee shop in Millbrae - not sure how we lived without it before? This is such a great addition to the neighborhood. It opens early, has plenty of seating for those wanting to study or meet with friends, and the drinks are great. They've got a lot of seasonal options and good coverage of all the usual coffee options. I'd love to see the pastry & non-caffeine & tea collection expand even further. Overall 11/10 vibes + drinks

New Broadway Bistro
349 Broadway, MillbraeCame for a dinner. Surprisingly this new one was much better than the old one. Foods were delicious, close to Hong Kong taste. Portions not small. Prices were a bit expensive compared with other cafes. Nice environment. Spacious. Clean. High ceiling. Friendly service. Definitely will be come back to try another foods.

Yomie's rice x yogurt | Millbrae
105 Park Blvd, MillbraeGreat spot for a hefty snack. Tried Yomie's purple rice yogurt drink and it's a creamy, yogurt drink with soft rice pieces mixed in. Nice to feel somewhat healthier when having a snack. I do have to say you have to be in the mood for this though. We came on a weekday and it was pretty quickly made after we ordered our drinks on the self-serve kiosk. There are a few chairs and tables there so it's a nice spot to chill

Jinweide Lanzhou Hand Pulled Beef Noodles (金味德兰州拉面)
328 Broadway, MillbraeEnjoyed the lunch there. Ordered some beef noodle soup, two lamb dishes, one cold salad , dumpling bao, pan fried green beans. All tasted excellent. Of course the stars are noodles and lamb. The damage is under 100 for 3 with some left over.

L & L Hawaiian Barbecue
340 Adrian Rd, MillbraeI usually get the kalbi and chicken katsu half and half, and it is consistently solid every time. The portions are filling, the kalbi is flavorful, and the katsu is crispy and reliable. It is one of those comfort meals where I know exactly what to expect.
Parking can be somewhat difficult since the lot is shared with In-N-Out, which gets busy quickly, especially during peak hours. I almost always order ahead, so the wait time is reasonable and pickup is smooth.
The ambiance is just okay. It is casual and functional, nothing special. The cashiers are fine, not overly friendly but not rude, and service is straightforward.
I keep coming back because it is consistent, filling, and a good value for the price. It is not a destination spot, but it is a dependable go-to when I am craving kalbi, katsu, or classic Hawaiian comfort food.
