“If you are a south Indian, this is the place to go. Fresh cut veggies (pretty tender okra which is rare and I appreciate that a lot), fresh coconut, imported mangoes from India, variety of south Indian brands of snack - not south Indian snacks made in north India. The selection isn't as big but they do a better job of clearing out expired products than other Indian stores. My daughter gets excited to push her mini cart all around. The store keeper makes a big deal for her every time she comes in and makes sure she gets the cart. 5 stars for customer experience. Their onion samosas are fantastic - reminds me of the ones you get in Tamilnadu. The store is pretty small (it's super hard to shove a cart between the short, narrow aisles) so I recommend going at a time when it's not super crowded.”
“Definitely stepped their game up from the past few months. Very happy with the product choices and freshness of everything again. Glad to be shopping back at this grocery outlet”
“Nice grocery store with great staff.I think meat area could be improved but great variety of fruits and veggies. Also other household products are well priced and neatly stocked.”
“It is a huge store with so many varieties of Indian grocery items, you have to come here regularly to get used to where different items are kept so you can shop quickly, it took a lot of time for first time to get used to where to find what.”
“Great shopping; ad items are there- not just price leaders. Cashiers are great and really talk to the customer. This store has many items @ special prices. We saved 43% total with bogos and smart shopping. Clean and well organized.”
“You have to go to buy some snacks here, 1.99 for a bag of chips and less than 1.99 for a popsicle. Alright service, good price for regular things, they never restock. I live near and it's perfect.”

“Been going to this Safeway for years now. Of course it's very busy. But I've been helped by many of the staff and always been super nice and helpful. Toby, Tayah, and a few others, always been super welcoming, no matter how crazy and busy the store can get.”
“I absolutely love this supermarket! They offer a wide range of products, including many great items that you can’t find anywhere else. After I told the manager about a delicious brand of Taiwanese sausage, it appeared on the shelves shortly after. I bought a few packs, and they sold out within days! This supermarket really listens to its customers and knows exactly what we want. Highly recommend!”
“I stopped by Bonfare Market Liquor Store one evening after work to grab some lottery tickets and scratchers. It’s a pretty standard liquor store, with the usual selection of drinks, snacks, and convenience items. The inside looks like most other liquor stores—functional and straightforward.
There was a homeless man outside near the entrance, which is not uncommon for liquor stores in busy areas. However, he didn’t bother me, and I was able to go in and out without any issues.
The highlight of my visit was the cashier. The lady at the register was very friendly and welcoming. She greeted me right away, maintained a polite and professional attitude, and efficiently handled my purchase. She made sure I knew exactly how much I needed to pay, making the transaction smooth and hassle-free.
Overall, Bonfare Market Liquor Store serves its purpose well. It’s a convenient spot to grab lottery tickets, drinks, or other quick items. While there’s nothing particularly special about it, the fast and friendly service made for a pleasant experience. If you’re in the area and need to make a quick stop, it gets the job done.”
“The non-vegetarian dishes were incredibly tasty, full of rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The goat biryani was a standout — the meat was extremely tender, fresh, and packed with authentic spices. Every bite melted in the mouth. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious non-veg food!
Also you can get fresh raw meat and chicken directly from form they get.”
“I really like this place it really makes me feel like a new sigma other then that I feel like I'm letting our my inner grimace I really like sigmas so this would really make my day if you were a sigma too I wonder if you can make a skibidi toilet”
“Quality/Quantity - Review based on the return my wife did today. Our Reno Walmart gave my daughter a hard time with a return, so since we were in the South Bay this week, we stopped by and had NO problems at all! Atmosphere - Consistent. Plenty of mall parking. Current departments - Pharmacy, auto care, vision center, wireless services, garden center, photo center, bakery, deli, grocery, liquor, etc. Service - 5 stars for GREAT customer service. Price - Inexpensive. Best prices, I never compare/check prices as they are the low cost leader. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1969, as the world's largest company by revenue (2022), $648+ billion sales (2024); 50+ stores in Nevada and 309+ stores in California (2022). 1962 Walmart Discount City. 1969 Walmart Inc. 1970 Walmart Stores Inc.”
“Couldn’t find a specific phone charger. Employee in electronics walked me to the right aisle, pointed out the cheaper option that works just as well. Saved me a few bucks.”

“My go to whenever I need some Chinese soup ingredients! I usually buy in bulk as I don’t come here often, twice a year. I am able to get everything that I need whenever I visit. Great parking right next to ranch 99.
I am writing this review as I saw some bad reviews about this place. I am giving my point of view with my own experience. I visited Chung Chou City since 6 years ago.
Rent is so $$ anywhere in the Bay Area. I think their price is very fair to be honest. If you compare other stores in the area, which is none except in Chinatown. But my fav one in Chinatown has closed down. Their price is not cheaper than this place! Yes there are a lot of Chinese store like this in Chinatown but I don’t just go in any store and purchase. Some places can sell fake stuff…
Then I saw the complain about services. I have pretty high bar on service, but it’s when I stay at expensive resort and very upscale restaurants.
Come on, it’s a retail store. I ask question, and they answer, I pick up what I wanted.
Since I buy in bulk, there were at times 30 items on the checkout and they always want to do their best to scan them, answer questions that I have. And yes it took them time to process like any other places.”
“Parking cam be tricky but the garage and lot are available.
One of the smaller locations I've been to but they're organized and clean.
Love their family and casual vibe.”
