“I love this credit union. The decorations make you feel like you are in Hawaii. Lines are always short and the service is fast. The staff is professional, friendly, and understanding. Usually, it's only one teller however, they do not rush you. They make you feel good about being a member of their bank. Great interest rates on loans, savings, checking, etc. Plenty of parking in the rear lot or on the street. Note: They do not have a money-counting machine to count money they do it by hand the old-fashioned way. They do not have zelle yet. The ATM is only Available during bank hours.”
“This review is for Carlos Alvarado, the Pasadena Branch Manager, who is an exceptional leader at Logix and who personally went out of his way to help fix a problem for us. My brother and I have been with Logix for years because of our home mortgage. Recently, there was a glitch that occurred which greatly impacted our credit score. It was huge misunderstanding and I am happy to report that Logix/Carlos acted in an honest, a trustworthy way. I strongly feel that if we were with another Branch Manager or organization, we would have been dismissed and we would have had to go through a Credit Attorney. Carlos took the time to hear me out, reach out for updates, and ensure that the process would be resolved. Any banking organization can provide you services and great rates, but what sets this place apart from others is that it is led by people that care and they work really hard to make sure you're on the winning end. “PFCU is unique and one of a kind. I have been a member for more than 20 years and would not trade it for anything. The staff members who have been with PFCU for many years are the reason for my continued membership. They treat you like part of the family and they call you by name.
On the other hand, the move and migration changed the environment within PFCU. I recall going to PFCU on Fair Oaks, and getting all the support one needed there. Now, one has to call the virtual line which is located at the Parsons building, and can get a hold of an employee at the branch like before. The employees while at Fair Oaks has a direct line that made it easier for customers to contact. It is now a waiting game to hear back.
All these changes made PFCU different. What keeps is unique is the employees that have been with PFCU from the Fair Oaks locations and keep the great customer service and support going. If they were not part of the change/migration, I would have left a long time ago.
In my opinion, I think leadership needs to consider the tradition that was done at Fair Oaks location in which us members were proud to be PFCU members. The is no more coloring contest for the kids as before, the open house gathering are gone, and the holidays loans changed.
All these negative reviews is unfair. Leadership should be grateful for those tenure employees that brought the tradition from Fair Oaks location and cater to the members and treat us like family. They are not the problem. The problem is leadership who put PFCU at the shopping center location when the previous location was great. With the change, reduced staff and customer support was impacted. The employees on hand in the branch are awesome and would not trade it for anything.
