“I would like to recognize Thomas as an exceptional customer service representative. I went to Xfinity with my mom yesterday because she needs to transfer her mobile service from Lyca Mobile to Xfinity because Lyca does not have esim for my mom’s new iPhone. Xfinity representative Thomas explained everything clearly, assisted us to choose a plan benefits us the most, helped us to get in touch with Lyca Mobile customer service (it struggles us to contact with Lyca by ourselves but he nailed it) to get the account info we need, and got my mom’s Xfinity account set up. “A young man here explain me very well this thing called 5G. He was amazed and called over a co-worker when he discovered I still using a iPhone #4. It only has the 4G.He said I was getting the most out of this old model and he reached out his fist to me, turned down. I am not sure what is this new handshake. I copy him and we connect the eyes like tradition in Italy. We were like brothers in this small moment. After he installs new SIM card ("damn, you got version 20 of this dude, oooold version"), he is fixing some setting in one of the menus. Always I ask young people to do this. He accidentally open my photo app, and it shows my girlfriend and me at the beach. That was a good day. Gianna is sick now and seeing that again made me sad. I tell him story of how she is sick, and he was listening. I am almost crying and so I take the phone and leave the store. Get on #38 bus, worst bus in the whole world, forever.But I have a new SIM card. And understand the 5G. Good man, this young guy. If I buy a new phone, I will come here.”

“Awesome provider. So happy to finally ditch Xfinity! I used to have ATT and I missed having symmetrical bandwidth. Installers were great. Gigabit DL is accurate, Upload is a little slower but it's a fantastic improvement (~600Mb/s). Only downside is no IPv6 support (in my area at least).”

“I was perate to buy a new phone, because my ancient iPhone suddenly decided to stop making outgoing calls. It just so happened that Boost had a special on certain iPhones, and this particular store had one left of the model I wanted. I rushed over to the store, not expecting anything beyond the usual lengthy, annoying process of buying and activating a new phone. I had seen that the store had a very low review rating, so I was prepared for the worst. Instead, I got great, patient, friendly help with my purchase, and skilled help with activating my new phone and migrating my info from my old phone. Over the two hours I was there, (my original phone was quite old, so uploading my old info was sloooow). there was a steady influx of customers, mostly colorful folks from the surrounding neighborhood. The owner Chris and Jeremiah, my sales person/tech guy, made a real effort to help each one of the customers in a kind. effective way. A number of the people who dropped in were just there to say hi. The place feels more like a friendly community center than a electronics store. I asked the owner about his clientele, and he said many were more friends than customers. He has been in business there since 1988, and he said, "We're the only one left (meaning a neighborhood gathering place), and I'll die here." Chris, Jeremiah and the rest of the staff are offering a true community service along with a peasant pace to buy a new phone or a honkin' sub woofer. 10/10 would buy from them again.”
