The Tails In The City
500 Madison St, Santa ClaraI’m so happy I was able to book an appointment with them again! I used to bring my dog here since he was a puppy, but after moving out of state we had to stop. Now that we’re back, I’m reminded why I loved this place so much. The team is always so friendly and professional, and they make the whole experience stress-free. My dog usually gets nervous at other places, but here he was calm and comfortable. He came out looking great, smelling amazing, and clearly well taken care of. I also appreciated how easy communication was—they texted me when he was ready, and the whole process from payment to pick-up was simple and smooth. Highly recommend!

1205 Laurelwood Rd, Santa ClaraThis place is a gem!! I feel so lucky to have found a pet villa. Our dog has anxiety and they handled Cali with such love, care, and dog competence. Fun 4 Paws
2040 Main St #131, Santa ClaraAwesome. Carine is so great with the pooches. I worry that my bigger doodle can be overwhelming for someone but she clearly knows dogs big and small. He's so spoiled when he's at Carine's! I love that he also gets to play with her dog as well as others when he's in her care. Boarding him used to be the biggest stress for trip planning but knowing Carine will take care of him totally takes the stress away!

The Good Salad (To go only)
371 Laurelwood Rd, Santa ClaraHad a strong salad craving and came across The Good Salad. I went with "build my own salad" option and the bowl turned out to be very yummy. The order was packed well for a DoorDash delivery and the quantity was very sufficient for the price. Really liked that they have a "choose lighter base than default" option which worked great for my liking. Loved their edamame options and would be great if they can introduce tofu too. Will definitely recommend.

Crepes Bistro
57 Washington St, Santa ClaraMany vegan goodies available here! Vegan crepes - what a rare treat! These didn’t have the exact taste or texture of traditional egg crepes, but they are very good in their own right. The tofu scramble was very good, and the portion very generous! The only thing I recommend is steering clear of the mint lemonade and the chocolate chip cookies… neither are worth their prices.

Taichi Pot Shabu Shabu
2640 Homestead Rd, Santa ClaraCame here on a weekday so we didn't have to wait for a table before it got busy. We opted for the Supreme menu since our favorite broth is the Sweet Tomato and Tom Yum Tonkatsu. They have over 25+ options for toppings and they have a decent selection of meat compared to other hot pot places. They also have a decent selection of drinks. Service was pretty quick and attentive especially whenever we submitted another round of meats.

Holder’s Mission City Grill
2000 El Camino Real, Santa ClaraMy visit to Holder’s Mission City Grill in Santa Clara was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant has a relaxed, classic American diner atmosphere that feels comfortable and welcoming as soon as you walk in.
The menu is quite extensive, offering breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner options throughout the day. I ordered a breakfast plate with eggs, hash browns, and toast, and the food was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and hearty, just like a traditional American breakfast should. The portions were generous, which made the meal feel like a great value. Many guests also enjoy dishes like omelets, pancakes, burgers, and eggs Benedict.
The service was friendly and attentive. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy, the staff kept checking in and made sure everything was going well.
Overall, Holder’s Mission City Grill is a great spot if you’re looking for classic American comfort food in Santa Clara. With good portions, reliable service, and a cozy atmosphere, it’s definitely a place I would visit again.
